"Magitek Infantry on the front, they would be cannon fodders and Imperial Army behind them. Lucien was the first person to arrive and after him, it was Commander Nalthos to arrive.

Shouted Nalthos as he saw Lucien standing there and observing the operation.

"Teacher Nalthos."

Greeted Lucien with a small bow. Nalthos was Lucien's teacher on many things ranging from swordsmanship and Kenjutsu to the military strategy and art of war.

"Teacher Nalthos, I will take on the Double-Headed Flame Lion to test my skills. You together with other Holy Imperial Knights would kill everything else at Type 8 and Type 9 to prevent unnecessary danger for our troops."

Said Lucien as Nalthos just nodded his head in agreement. After one hour of waiting, finally, the rest of the army arrived together with the rest of the Holy Imperial Knights. All of them were already on their position while waiting for the mutated beast horde to arrive and for the battle to start. Magitek Dreadnoughts were already hovering in the orbit of the planet, waiting for their moment to strike.

Only after twenty more minutes of impatient waiting, the mutated beast horde finally arrived. It was imposing sigh at them, as tens of thousands of mutated beasts were closing to their position, they were of various species and sizes, as they were preparing to attack the Holy Niflheim Empire under the leadership of the Double-Headed Flame Lion that was Peak-Grade Type 9 mutated beast.

"Send the order for Magitek Towers to start long-range attacks."

Ordered Lucien as tens of Magitek Towers started shooting laser-like attacks from their Magitek Crystals, that were tearing through the mutated beast horde like a hot knife through the butter. To this, Type 9 mutated beasts ferociously shot forward to the defensive line as they wanted to destroy the Magitek Towers, only to be stopped by the Holy Imperial Knights who were waiting on the stand by.

The real battle didn't start yet, only top powerhouses engaged themselves in a fight while the main armies were still on stand by. The mutated beast horde was closing to the defensive line at fast speed and Imperial Army and Magitek Infantry Soldiers were waiting for their enemy to arrive.

"Signal for the Magitek Assassins to go and assassinate all Control-Type mutated beasts and all Command-Type mutated beasts. Send in half of the Magitek Assassins."

Lucien issued another order, for more than one thousand Magitek Assassins to assassinate all dangerous mutated beasts in the large-scale conflict. Control-Type mutated beasts were troublesome from the aspect they could control directly other monsters, but more troublesome were Command-Types. They had superior intelligence that could easily outmatch the biggest geniuses and could easily command the mutated beasts army, so it was important to dispose of them at the start of the battle before they could cause them some serious damages.
