The chief of special police division shakes hand with Kiyohira. "Thank you for your cooperation, Mr. Kamiyama. Thanks to you, we have captured a tail."

Hashimoto Chisa has been involved in all kinds of crimes like kidnapping, embezzlement, and human trafficking. She's only one of the many tails connected to a big organization - a tail that's been clipped off when she's turned useless.

The woman has been taken away. There are other victims found in the rooms. Some victims can't even say their names. The young man, who was playing the music, has to be dragged away from the piano by force. Nishihara is revealing the locations of other playhouses created by Hashimoto Chisa. They are looking for Morikawa.

Kiyohira takes a deep breath. "Do not mention my involvement."

His family's safety is important. Kamiyama Family has been in news for a while now. There's enough chaos lately. He wants to begin a peaceful life with his family from this moment on. If Rie's face is known again, it would bring troubles because of her past as a hacker. Ren informed him that she did some illegal hacking in the past. Ren also warned him about some dangerous groups of hackers that are interested in her.

"It will be kept a secret." The officer understands Kiyohira's reasons. "Nobody will ever find out about your involvement."

Kiyohira closes his eyes and sighs. It's over. He wants to see his wife and tell her everything.

He walks out of the hell house and inhales the cold wind. He has been feeling like he's been forced to drink poison for nearly a month. Hashimoto Chisa has been ruined as his wife has wanted. That abomination can never get up from this fall.

[Kiyohira, I saved your ass tonight.] Ren's voice has a laughing tone. [She can never get up from this. I took all the money from her accounts and transferred it to the people who have been her victims.]

"Good work." Kiyohira is a bit tired. "I had to hear and see things that would give me a nightmare for a long time."

[We could have her only because you could hold yourself back. Even if you seized the company, she would still have these twisted places to hide. We couldn't catch the real people though.]

"I only wanted to deal with Chisa. I don't care about others."

He's not a justice hero. Protecting his family comes first. He doesn't want more enemies when he has much more to protect. Those people doubtlessly know about Rie and her past.

[Rie Chan must be angry at me for leaving her alone. Go home quickly. I want to talk to her. It's been a long time since I played with her.]

"Find someone else to play with."

He hangs up. Tonight belongs to him. He has to bear the punishment first. He's sure that she would get mad about him taking that path to deal with Chisa. He hopes that she doesn't get too mad.

The police van stops in the middle of the road. Hashimoto Chisa is dragged out forcibly. She curses at them for the rough treatment. She is pushed hard by the young officer on the ground.

"What are you doing?" She is afraid. It's dark. The others were taken in separate vans. She was the only one along with two officers in that van. A car stops in front of Chisa. Morikawa steps out of the car.

"You." She gnashes her teeth. "You also betrayed me."

If she wasn't handcuffed, she would have gouge those eyes out.

Morikawa glances at the young officer once. The officer shrugs and walks away, keeping a distance. Chisa notices the part of the gun peeking out of his coat.

Unbelievable.

"You were sent by them." The devils of the underworld have never been her friends. They let her believe that. She has been watched by them since the start.

Morikawa takes the gun out and puts it against her head. There's no change in his eyes. He's looking at her like he always has. It's hard to believe that this man has been with her for 8 years.

She realizes what betrayal means. She can keep screaming but nobody would come because she has nobody. She's sure that her mother will try to run the moment she hears about her downfall. Hashimoto Chisa has no one while Rie has someone who would go to any extent to protect her.

They won't let her live because she knows too much. She's sure that Nishihara is also dead.

"Do you not know me?" She tells him with a light voice. "I have the information that can be used against your boss and his friends. I have hidden it somewhere. Are you okay if I die without telling you?"

She gathered data against those people. If she's dead, nobody will know where it is. But they won't be able to sleep peacefully if it is not back in their hands.

His finger pauses. He furrows his brows deeply. He didn't expect her to do this. Then, it's not out of her character. He kept a close watch, but he failed to know everything. It also means a death sentence for him. He needs to find it and destroy it before they find out.

"Hashimoto San, you are clever." He smiles at her as if he is not pointing the gun at her at this moment. "Do you want to bargain? I will spare your life if you reveal it to me."

She isn't an idiot. He will kill her if she reveals it to him. "I will tell you if you do this last thing for me."

"That is?" Morikawa can guess what she wants. Still, he needs to hear it.

"This is my last request, Morikawa." She looks straight into his eyes. "If I am going to die, I want to take Rie with me."
