He only married me to show her that he already moved on Chapter 9 - 9: Why don't you accept his offer?

Madi's POV:

These past few days have been hectic for us, I mean more on Sandy. She had to make Mr.Wilsons coffee not just once but three times a day.

She also had to attend some meetings with him, because he really proved himself what a real jerk he was this week.

But you know what was the funny part of it? He sometimes called Sandy as Ms. Davis unconsciously. But she never even corrected him and she shared it to me and we both laughed.

I didn't show my face to him this last few days. I'm just helping Sandy with her doubled number of files. I also didn't bother myself to say goodbye every afternoon as I go home like I always do every day.

-'Hmph! This is what he want, I'm just following his wish.'-

It's Friday afternoon and since we don't have work for tomorrow, I decided to visit Noelle at the restaurant. I already told her what I and Mr. Wilsons talked about the last time.

And her reaction wasn't something I expected. She wants me to accept his deal.

"Wow! The last time I checked, you keep on rambling on me when I applied to the WEC. And now you want me to accept his offer? What is really happening to your brain?"

We're at the back office and talking again about his life-changing deal.

"Nice. You used the word 'brain', why don't you also use the word 'mind' to make it complete?"

I rolled my eyes as I sighed.

"You loved challenges, right? So, why don't you think about it? Why don't you accept his offer? Besides, he's a good shot, Madi. He's a freaking billionaire, a hot and s.e.xy billionaire. If it's only me whom he offered that fabulous deal, there's no way in hell I would refuse it."

"Then go to him and ask him to offer you a deal."

"Hmph! As if that's easy!" she huffed.

"And what are you saying... that I should also accept his money?"

"No! Not his money... but his freaking sinful body!"

And she placed her hands on her throat and chest as if imagining my boss touching her there.

"My God! Gross!" I said in a disgusted face but she glared at me.

"Yeah, go on! You can say all those words today Madi, but I'm telling you..huh! If you tasted what they called 'God's special recipe', you're not going to forget that ever!"

I only laughed at her choice of words.

"God's special recipe? What's that?"

She raised her eyebrow while smirking at me.

"God! Such a v.i.r.g.i.n!"

And it's my turn to glare at her.

"You know what, your boss is really up to something."

"Of course, what do you call about his planning of revenge on his ex-fiancee?"

"Maybe he still in love with her and he still can't accept what that woman did to him."

"Yeah, but instead of chasing her again to get back into his life, he came up with this kind of stupid idea."

"Maybe because after seeing her again, the pain he felt before was heavier that his love for her. I mean, who wouldn't.. if someone you loved and praised all your life, betrayed and left you.?"

I didn't say anything but my palm touches her forehead.

"What's that for?" she asked confused.

"Nothing. I'm just checking if you had a fever. You know, saying all that heartfelt words were not usually coming out from your nasty mouth."

Her mouth hung open, and after a while, she narrowed her eyes on me. She even controlled her smile.

"You really used the word nasty for my mouth?"

"Well.. yeah." I answered with a shrug. "You and Sandy have the same size of mouth. Full of Nasty words and dirty languages."

I chuckled as her face crunched by my last two words.

"Excuse me! We have the same s.e.xy and luscious mouth."

She pouted her lips.

"But, seriously... I agree with you."

"Yeah, maybe that's why he became cold and distant as you described him."

"You know what, I still haven't seen him smiled even before."

"Really?" she asked in disbelief.

"Yeah."

"Then why don't you make him?"

"Huh! How could i... he didn't even let me do my job! He gave half of my works to Sandy. And since then, I didn't show my face to him this past few days!"

She laughed.

"I am telling you, Madi. He's really into something."

"I don't know. I still can't believe there's a person like him. You know, who would do everything for his ex.. even doing such this stupid idea. What for?"

"Maybe not for revenge."

"But for?"

"To claimed her back?"

My hear felt again the now familiar 'sting'.

"What if I resigned?"

I suddenly blurted out without thinking.

"What? No!" she said shaking her head.

"Why? I applied in this job.. I applied as his Personal Assistant, but what he is doing to me? He clearly said that his deal was not related to my work.. to our work in the office. But look at him, he gave half of my workload to Sandy without even informing me after I refused his offer! And when I asked him about it.. you know what he said? Stay in your place! I am the CEO and you're just my PA! Argh!"

The annoyance is creeping me again.

"And since, he doesn't want me to do it anymore, then why staying?"

"Oh no, baby girl. Don't do that. Don't you get it?"

"Get what?"

"Maybe he's just doing all these things to you to challenge you!"

"Challenge me?"

"To make you accept his deal."

"That's ridiculous!"

"Come on! Think about it."

"But by doing that.. it didn't come to his mind that I can also file a resignation letter for this."

"Uhuh..." she smirked and I looked at her.

"What?"

"Trust me, He's just challenging you."

"Bullshit that stupid challenge thing of him!"

"Yeah.. and this is really exciting! Why don't you accept the challenge.. you loved it right?" she winked at me.

"What do you mean?"

An evil smile formed on her lips.

"I have an idea. A very useful and a brilliant idea."
