He only married me to show her that he already moved on Chapter 66 - sixty-six: Her biggest decision

The moment I noticed Gabriel's car driving out of the gate, I immediately pulled my suitcase from under my bed. I just put there some of my clothes and shoes inside. I didn't bring those things that Gabriel's bought and gave to me.

I left a white long folder with my note, and divorce papers inside. The day I saw Gabriel with Stacey in clinic, I dialled my lawyer's number and asked him to make a copy of divorce paper and I'm gonna pick it in his office. And last night, I finally signed it.

I pulled my bag with tears flowing on my both cheeks as I roamed my eyes inside of the room for the last time. I bitterly smiled as I remember those tears and smiled I shared with my bed especially with my pillows.

When I reached down to the living room, I saw Elsa and some of the maids doing their everyday routine in the house. Cleaning, mopping and wiping all the things that their eyes can see. 

"Ma'am Madi, are you leaving?" One of them asked me, and I tried to smile even the tears keeps on flowing down.

"You're leaving us? You're leaving Sir Gabriel?"

"I'm sorry Elsa, I'm sorry guys... but I have to. And I'm not leaving you, I'm just going to leave my pain here. I think it's time to... to start a new life without this grudges."

"You love him, Ma'am Madi. Because you're not going to sacrifice yourself being in this state if not."

I smiled at them. "Thank you, guys. I'm gonna miss all of you. Simon.. please admit your feelings to Elsa, come on. Be a man, big boy!" Simon who's just passing from the kitchen widened his eyes and Elsa blushed in a deep shade of red.

We all laughed at the blushing Elsa and scratching Simon on his head. 

And we became serious again. I removed my wedding ring and put it on Elsa's hand.

"Ma'am?"

"Can you do me a favor, Elsa?"

"Yes Ma'am, as long as I can, I'll do it for you, Ma'am Madi."

"Can you please give this back to him? And tell him that... that does not belong to me.

"But Ma'am-----"

"Thank you Elsa, thank you guys." 

I hugged them one by one before I pulled my bag towards the front door. I can hear their cries, their callings but I don't have time to turn around. I walked towards the gate and I smiled to sad faces of the security guards.

"Ma'am Madi, we're going to miss you. We're hoping to see you again in the future."

"Don't forget us, Ma'am Madi."

"I won't forget you guys, I promise. Take care of this house and take care of yourself. Thank you, guys. I have to go."

They opened the gate, and the face of my waiting brother came to my view. He's leaning on the car door. 

"Bryan."

"Oh, Sis!" his face turned sour when he saw me crying. 

I run towards him and hugged him tightly. "I missed you, Bryan."

"I missed you too, Sis." he said hugging me back while kissing my head.

Bryan is my eldest sibling, next is Madison. I called him three days ago and asked him a favor, and didn't hesitate to help me. I'm going to left my car here, and I'm just going to text Sandy or Noelle to get it before I change my number.

Bryan take my bag from me and put it inside the car's compartment. He takes my hand and pulled me to the passenger seat. But before I stepped I get my phone from my pocket and give it to him.

"What's this?" he asked me confused.

"Can you take a picture of me?" I asked walking to the closed gate. He smiled and nodded. I know he has a lot of questions to ask me, but he's just giving me this last moment.

"Thank you, Bry. I love you." I smiled and give him a flying kiss. But he just messed my hair.

"Get inside, we still have a long ride." 

I sighed and take a look for the one last time at the mansion behind me.

-'Bye.. thank you for being my home for the last three months. I'm gonna miss you, and the owner of you. Just tell him I love him.. for me. I can never say that out loud to him, but please take care of him. Be his home in times he needed a home and comfort that I know I can no longer give to him.'-

I closed my eyes and let the tears flow for the last time... I hope it's the last time... I'm not sure. I opened the door and looked at the face of my brother who's just watching me from the driver seat. He started and engine once I closed the door beside me.

"You must love the owner of that mansion. Because based on your tears, I can see you're hurting, Sis." he said patting my knee."

"Can we open the radio, Bry?" I asked him ignoring what he said.

"Sure, if that's what you feel is right to temporarily ease your sadness. But remember, Madi.. your brother here is just waiting for you to share the story behind that tears."

I smiled at him and I nodded. And I opened his car radio just to kill my heart again.

***Now here it comes the hardest part of all, unchain my heart that's holding on. How do I start to live my life alone? Guess I'm just learning, learning the art of letting go...

Try to say it's over, say the word goodbye, but each time it catches in my throat. You're still here in me, and I can't set you free. So I hold on to what I wanted most. Maybe someday, we'll be friends forevermore. Wish I could open that door...

Where do I start to leave my life alone? I guess I'm learning, only learning... learning the art of letting go.***

Gabriel's POV:

Negative.

The result of the DNA test I've got this morning from the clinic. And to say the relief it brought me, was understatement. But of course I didn't easily let go of Stacey by that moment. If she's happened to be a man and she's not pregnant, I don't even know what can I do with her if it's not for the Doctor who stopped me from hitting her.

"So, this means negative?" I asked the Doctor who gave me the DNA results.

"Yes, Mr. Wilsons. The result of the DNA test is negative------"

"Goddamnit! You f.u.c.k.i.n.g lied to me!" I crumpled the paper and throw it on Stacey's face.

She screamed and tried to touch my hand but I swatted it away.

"I'm sorry, Gabi. I'm sorry."

"Sorry? Are you f.u.c.k.i.n.g crazy? You lied to me! You fooled me again!"

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean that to happen. I just want you back, Gabi. I still love you. I love you.." she said in tears, but I'm no longer affected with her drama.

"You love me? How dare you use the word love for your being selfish, Stacey! And don't touch me!" I pushed her on the couch.

"Mr. Wilsons, she's pregnant.

I glared at the doctor before I made my way out of the laboratory clinic. But the f.u.c.k.i.n.g woman followed me outside.

"Gabi, wait. Let me explain." she grabbed my hand and I narrowed my eyes on her.

"Take your hands off from me or I swear to God Stacey, I'm gonna f.u.c.k.i.n.g kill you!"

She gasped and take her hands back.

"Gabi, please-----"

"Please what? Explain? Let me tell you this woman!" I pointed my finger on her forehead and hardly pushed it. "I am regretting those times that I became your tail! That I followed all you want! I was such a fool before but that's not gonna happen ever again!" I said through gritted teeth. "You killed my child, one innocent child who could live his or her life in this world freely! I gave up all my dreams to you, I gave you everything... but what did you do? You left me and you chose to be with him!"

"Gabi, I was just confused before. But believe me, I never stop loving you.

"Really? Well, I did! I already stopped myself from loving you.. no...I've realized that I didn't love at all. I was just in love with the idea of having someone beside me. And you know what the second thing I've realized?  That I should be thank you for dumping me, because of that, I met my wife! And I love her. So stop all of your drama because I'm done with you!"

"Gabi..."

I walked away from her, thanking the one from above for making these things go with this. I am now ready. I can say I am whole again to give all of me to my wife. I'm ready to start the new chapter with her.

But little did I know that the things I am about to discover when I reached home, is more than the things I've been through before...
