Lu Wenbin did not wait for the helicopter to leave. He braved the wind and charged below the raging rotors to help carry the stretcher. This drew a few somewhat impressed looks from the three Yun Hua Provincial Hospital doctors.

The attending physician, who was standing opposite him, shook his head. He pointed at his mouth and said, "I'll shout from one to three, and we'll carry the gurney together."

But to the two younger doctors, the attending physician would just be looking for trouble if he were to do this.
If the patient was sent to Yun Hua Hospital instead, their department director would be embarrassed. But it was not like the department director could actually do anything to the attending physician, who was almost fifty years old already.

Cai Qiong pursed his lips in disdain and laughed out loud. "Back when I first started working as a doctor in the nineties, a few of the departments were located in buildings like this. However, they were cleaner."
The two resident doctors who came along with him flashed a slight smile.
"You don't believe what I said?" Cai Qiong asked with a smile.
"I was only born in 1993," the resident doctor who was walking behind him said in a whisper.
Cai Qiong's face could not help but twitch a few times. When he raised his head, his field of vision became blurry because of the jarring lights.
Numerous energy saving lamps the size of a human skull were hanging from the ceiling. Even though the reception hall did not have much natural light, the place was as bright as an operating theater because of the energy saving lamps.
Not many patients and family members were there for consultation.
The other resident doctor looked around. He was trying to lighten up the atmosphere as well as satisfy his curiosity. "Where're the patients?"
"Some of them are in the wards, and some have been discharged." Zuo Cidian was observing the three of them first. He only stepped forward and introduced himself after hearing their conversation. "I'm Zuo Cidian from Yun Hua Emergency Medical Center. Let me find you guys a place to rest."
"There's no need for that. We would like to take a look at the operating theater. Isn't Doctor Ling the best liver surgeon in Changxi Province? We would like to learn from him." Somehow, even when Cai Qiong was saying something nice, it still sounded like a mockery.
Zuo Cidian smiled. "No problem, go ahead. Let's get changed first, then."
This was a rule in every hospital, and the three doctors from Yun Hua Provincial Hospital nodded.
"Let's go this way." Zuo Cidian opened a side door and took the lead. "Didn't the patient's family members come along?"

Like teams sent from other hospitals, most of the members in the rescue team Yun Hua Provincial Hospital sent over to Bazhaixiang consisted of emergency physicians and general surgeons. Even though the latter knew how to conduct liver surgeries, they found them no less dangerous.

The treatment plan the team from Yun Hua Provincial Hospital had for this kind of patient was to send them back to Yun Hua Provincial Hospital so that specialized departments could treat them. But since this plan would not work out right now, they had no choice but to entrust the patient to Ling Ran.
Doctors often meet patients who gave up on the best choice or even second best choice because of financial constraints, but it was never part of a doctor's job scope to solve patients' financial problems.
Zuo Cidian could kind of guess what was on the minds of the doctors from Yun Hua Provincial Hospital. He merely smiled and said, "We have prepared enough blood bags. A batch was just sent over just now."
"Via helicopter? You guys have such a good relationship with Jin Hui Airlines?" Cai Qiong asked another awkward question.
Zuo Cidian shook his head. "We chartered a helicopter."
"Wow, that's intense." Cai Qiong's laughter was a profound one.
Zuo Cidian got a little annoyed when he heard this. He turned to look at Cai Qiong and said flatly, "We're just rich."
