Chapter 1328: 1248, Drac's account Chapter 1328: 1248, Drac's account “Which stomach?” Su Yu asked.
The Giant Dragon Clan generally had six stomachs.
Like cows, the food Giant Dragons ate was mostly hard to digest and required rumination. Not only that, but they also needed to store food in two stomachs for consumption while sleeping (the Dragon Race was particularly fond of sleep). Therefore, they generally had six stomachs, two more than cows.
“Recklaz is in the second stomach, Emperor Xin in the third,” Drac honestly answered.
“Good.”
Su Yu responded and began to search through the pile of organs that resembled small hills for Drac's stomachs.
Using the [Control Object System], he moved the enormous organs one by one, recalling the characteristics of a dragon's stomach and slowly searching.
Fortunately, Su Yu had dissected a Giant Dragon in the game; otherwise, he would have been at a loss seeing this pile of bizarre organs.
After patiently searching for over twenty minutes, Su Yu finally moved all the irrelevant organs aside and found Drac's second and fourth stomachs.
“These are the two, right?” Su Yu wiped sweat from his forehead.
Actually, he didn't need to ask, he already knew.
Because, within these two stomachs and separated by walls over two meters thick, Su Yu's spiritual power had already discovered the remains of Emperor Xin and Recklaz, along with their souls.
“Yeah, that's right,” came the muffled response from Drac.
“Sss–” Suddenly, Drac's soul felt a phantom pain.
As Su Yu was answering, his Space Blade had been released; the invisible space edge easily sliced through Drac's stomach.
Seeing this, Drac felt a chill in his belly. Even though it was a soul and couldn't feel pain, it was still quite uncomfortable.
Su Yu noticed Drac's emotions but didn't particularly care.
After cutting through the thick stomach walls, he saw the remains of Emperor Xin and Recklaz clearly before him.
As Drac had said, the two Planet Level remains had been almost entirely absorbed, leaving only two black, indistinct masses of material.
However, a dense Spirit Power cloaked these two masses; the souls of both were still intact.
Su Yu used his spiritual power to enter the remains and attempted to communicate with Emperor Xin's soul.
“Senior Emperor Xin, are you alright?” he asked softly.
But this attempt was unsuccessful.
The information carried by his spiritual power entered Emperor Xin's soul, yet there was no response–as if it had not been received at all.
Su Yu found it odd.
Just as he was about to try contacting Senior Emperor Xin again, Drac's voice echoed in his ear.
“Don't bother,” said Drac, “Emperor Xin and Recklaz's souls are incomplete, both in a deep coma, and this 'deep coma' also protects their souls.”
“Then do you have a way to wake them up?”
“Of course, if you nurture them with a large amount of soul energy, helping them repair their souls. As long as their souls reach over 95% completeness, they will surely awaken.”
“Using a large amount of soul energy to nurture them…” Su Yu repeated Drac's words.
Where could he find a large amount of soul energy?
Suddenly, his gaze turned to the Yangsheng Ring.
Drac's soul must contain quite an amount of soul energy; perhaps…
Drac sensed Su Yu's thoughts, immediately crying out in alarm, “You're not thinking of using my Spirit Power to nurture them, are you? I tell you, absolutely not!”
“What's the problem with that? You have so much Spirit Power, what's wrong with sharing a bit?”
“Blue Whale,” Su Yu called to the AI system, “how do I cut off a piece of Drac's soul?”
Before AI Blue Whale could respond, Drac immediately shouted again, “No, absolutely not! If you cut a piece of my soul, I'll fall into a coma!”
If it fell into a “deep coma,” then it might lose all potential usefulness.
Taking away its soul power to nourish Emperor Xin, there may no longer be any chance of its soul awakening again!
“…How about this then,” Drac, left with no choice, compromised, “I'll give you my account at the Crystal Blue Community, are you satisfied now?”
Drac, as a minor leader of the Dark Energy Rebel Army, had a large sum deposited in the neighboring Crystal Blue Community.
Not just Drac, all Planet Level members of the Rebel organization had accounts there.
The money in the account was accumulated over tens of thousands of dragon years.
Although a large portion had been spent, the remaining value was still in the trillions of Crystal Blue coins, roughly equivalent to the total stored Spiritual Energy of Skru Star.
As Drac definitely could not use the account anymore, it might as well come in handy now to secure Su Yu's favor.
The numbers in Drac's account made Su Yu somewhat tempted.
Spiritual Energy equivalent to Skru Star's total reserve! That was a significant amount!
At the very least, it would be beneficial for the reconstruction efforts of two planets.
However, Su Yu also understood the “carrot and stick” approach and knew better than to push Drac too hard.
After taking note of the account information Drac provided, Su Yu reassuringly said, “Drac~”
“…”
“As we have accepted your account, we're on the same side now.
Think about it, with both our planets in need of rebuilding, and Saint Song appearing on these barren planets, you should know what that implies, right?”
“…” Drac remained silent in response to Su Yu.
“No matter what, we're in dire need of people! As long as you are willing to join under Saint Song and work diligently, I guarantee you can recreate a body and return to your Peak strength easily!”
“I hope so,” Drac responded, still somewhat pessimistic, “I will definitely not entertain thoughts of betraying Saint Song. I just hope you will keep your promise.”
Drac didn't distrust Saint Song; it just didn't trust Su Yu that much.
It knew that Su Yu's words might sound appealing, but if a greater profit arose, Su Yu would decisively trade away its soul, while it, being in soul form, would have absolutely no power to resist.
To truly survive, it would depend on if it could continue to bring value to Su Yu.
