"I understand… I wanted to kill you at first, but I instantly realized it was you. Well, you should certainly thank my sister for this because I recalled what she said earlier."

"?!" Alex tilted his head in confusion. He was prepared for some attack and might even attack her back, but he was lucky since the other party could retain their calm.

Only Putri had seen this mask when Alex joined the war to protect the Southern Kingdom. She was walking toward the masked man alone, confusing the others in her group.

She slowly dropped to one knee and clasped her hand respectfully. "Putri greets Master."

"!!!" They dropped their jaw upon hearing it. They only knew Putri as Song Yu's junior sister and never knew her master's existence besides Charya.

"It's been a few years… Before I can sever the relationship, you decide to run to this continent… So, I assume you have your decision already…" Alex did not help her up and replied.

"I have decided long ago. I will always be Master's disciple, so please, don't-"

"If you have decided, I would say no more. This is your choice, but you know that being my disciple might take away your life, right?"

"Then, it is good." Alex nodded. "I should leave then."

"Master…"

"Wait!" Right after Alex turned around, a shout echoed inside his ears.

He turned to the side, looking at a black-haired man.

"She has been searching for you since two years ago! And now you are here, you will leave just like that? Have you ever thought about her feelings?" He roared. Even though he had no information about Putri's master, he knew Putri had been searching for someone this whole time. It must be this person, he thought.

"..." As he expected, it would become like this. He certainly had read some scenes about Master and Disciple relationships from other points of view. The first one would come from a friend and they would certainly rage when they saw the nonchalant master like Alex. The second one was her pursuer, trying to mend their relationship so he could get a point in her heart. The third one was a lusty brat who thought with his dick, not brain. Last but not least, it came from an MC perspective, where he wanted to fight for his woman.

"Andre!" Song Jia frowned, glaring at him with killing intent.

Alex looked at this man weirdly before turning to Putri. "Your boyfriend?"

"I am sorry, Master. Please pay no heed." She shook her head.

He nodded and walked away, albeit he was stopped once again. This time, the man stopped him from the front, not letting him pass.

Alex sighed and said, "You did not know anything and made a bold claim. Don't use half-baked information to fight a stranger. Also, blocking me is the last thing you want to do."

"You bastard! You are only a 1-Star Martial Emperor. I can fight a Martial Emperor like you even though I am only a peak Martial King."

Alex looked at Song Jia and said, "If you don't stop him, I am afraid I might kill him."

"Andre, stop it right now. He won't be the one to kill you, I will." Song Jia glared at him. He already broke the family rule just by confronting a VIP cardholder even though he did not know it.
