"Hiss-!"

The people sucked a cold breath. They just witnessed the death of a 10-Star Martial Lord. And he was killed easily by an 8-Star Martial Lord to boot.

Alex never saw him as an opponent. After all, if he truly released his full power, he might even defeat a Martial King, let alone a fake Martial Lord. And it was not considering his Fire Element and Array. He might even best Xiang Bai if he used all of his repertoires, albeit he had yet to know the usage of Soul, which might be useful in a battle… probably.

It was a major occurrence. Normally, Alex would die under the onslaught of Xian Ming, but this event turned into something ridiculous.

The third elder was a bit confused about this. Alex was powerful indeed, but the fact that his opponent went down easily, it made him baffled. "This… Is this because of Blood Pills?"

"I assume, yes." Charya nodded. "Alex said because of blood pills, those people are like 9-Star Martial Lords or something. And compared to that 'monster', they stand no chance."

Charya even specifically addressed Alex as a monster. She knew she could not win against Alex anymore. In fact, she might go down after a few rounds.

"That means, we can win this easily?"

"I don't know." Charya shook her head.

"You don't know?" Dolf looked at her with a complicated expression. "What do you mean?"

"Alex said there is still a possibility of them using the Berserk Pill. I am sure you already know the effect of that pill, right?" Charya looked at the other elders. This was the reason why he panicked when only Elder Dolf and Alex did not panic at the start.

"I will tell you Putri's experience since this is not in her report. She has seen someone using that pill, and to put it simply, a 9-Star Martial Lord almost killed the only 10-Star from the Southern Kingdom if he was not helped by someone back then."

"Yeah, you are right. And his opponents are 10-Star Martial Lords. If the berserk pill can help a fake 9-Star Martial Lord kill Bima, what kind of thing would a fake 10-Star Martial Lord be?"

They sweatdropped. They imagined a 10-Star Martial Lord had a strength of 1-Star Martial King, if not fake Martial King for a few minutes. And Alex would be under their onslaught.

"However, there will be a high chance they would not use it. Still, we don't know how the matches will progress, and he must be thinking about that too.." Charya said while looking at Alex.

On the arena,

Alex wanted to end the match as soon as possible, so they could not think about using the Blood Pill against him. He just realized they could just lie even if they chose to do that. They could say, 'This is a new Rage Pill that our kingdom developed.' And since most Mount Hua Sect's people in this tournament were killed, including their sect master and the ones that were still alive already went back to the sect. No one would try to clarify it as Mount Hua Sect would be the most powerful and trusted one in this aspect.

Alex said, "Next!"

On the Zhou Kingdom's side, they were gnashing their teeth, looking at Alex's arrogance.

"What shall we do? What is his power?"

"I don't know, but it seems his strength is quite powerful as Xian Ming could not do anything."

"Then, we can't fight him in close combat."

"That's right. As long as we spam our Martial Art, we could force him to use it too. That way, we can't stop him."

"I will go." The volunteer was a middle-aged man with white hair. He held a giant ax with his muscular body.

Alex looked at him with a weird expression. He did not use cheap tricks at all.

The middle-aged man released his powerful Axe Domain. It was a fifty meter Axe Intent. Compared to the usual 10-Star Martial Lord, his Domain Was a bit small. Alex also released his Sword Domain and Spear Domain. However, Alex decided to hold back and used 50-meter domains.

He did this because he wanted to make them think their power difference was not big, so there was no need to use their Berserk Pill. If Alex cornered them too much, he was afraid they would use the Berserk Pill. Of course, Alex was not scared of the Berserk Pill. He just wanted to win this fight without having any troublesome situation.

Because of this, Alex did not say anything to him and immediately looked at the announcer.

"Match Start!"

"Hmph!" The middle-aged man snorted as he immediately charged toward Alex. "If it is about strength, then I have my pride in my strength."

He swung his ax down as soon as he arrived in front of Alex.

This time, Alex did not use his Immovable Step and took the blow head-on. A crater appeared right below his feet because of this attack alone.

"Bam!"

When the people saw this, they started believing that Alex was using a cheap trick in his fight against Xian Ming.

"Look at that! Back in his fight with Xian Ming, Xian Ming could not do a single thing. But in this fight, he became in Xian Ming's position. Doesn't this mean he is using something?"

"What a bastard!"

"Heavenly Sword Sect is a bunch of cheaters."

"Get the hell out of here."

The people started booing him, and Evelyn's expression turned to sour again. She could not understand the reason why Alex did this since he had yet to teach her about emotion manipulation. However, she could only believe in him as she knew Alex's strength was more than that.

Alex retreated a few steps back to show he was surprised by his power. He chased him again, and they started a brawl. It looked like Alex was using all of his power just to defend the middle-aged man attacks.

They were fighting like that for a few minutes, and after Alex thought it was enough, he summoned twenty swords from his space ring.

"!!!" Seeing that, the middle-aged man immediately retreated.

Alex made the swords chase him.

"Ground Breaking." He struck the ground with his giant ax and summoned a big wall in front of him. It was to let the sword stick there.

Sadly, Alex could control the swords easily. He made the sword fly around the wall and plunged him from behind.

"Rhino Axes!" The middle-aged man swung his ax and made a powerful shockwave that could blow the swords away. Unfortunately, Alex only used those swords for a distraction.

"Seven Stars Cut!" Alex waved his sword as an overbearing Sword Wave appeared again in the arena. This threw the middle-aged man out of guard.

He turned his body over, planning to strike the Sword Wave. It was at this moment, he realized he was too late as Alex's Sword Wave already cut through the giant wall and split him into two.

It was really shocking to see another 10-Star Martial Lord die under Alex's hand again. Still, this match was more believable than the first one.

Even so, the people from the Zhou Kingdom were baffled.

"His strength should be superior to Alexander Sirius. So, there is still a chance for us about that. Maybe that Alexander Sirius is really playing a trick earlier."

The leader nodded. "So, no matter what, we need to kill him in this tournament since he might be able to escape from the array beneath this arena.

They were planning to sacrifice themselves for the sake of the match. Well, the result would not be that different though. After all, the people who consumed Berserk Pill later would be crippled or died. So, it was the same as dying first or dying later.
