Both Charya and Matthew suddenly appeared in the middle of the arena. Matthew thrust his spear toward her. Responding to that, Charya used her sword to deflect it before spinning her body once and cut him.

Matthew tried to block her attack with the handle of his spear, but it still managed to graze his body a bit, leaving a wound on his chest. Blood started seeping through the wound, making a red spot on his fancy clothes. Normally, people would frown or make serious expressions after he/she got injured. But Matthew only smiled when he got injured.

"!!!" Suddenly, Charya felt something wrong. She felt a bit hot on her cheek before she realized Matthew managed to graze her cheek with his spear. She smirked as she wiped the wound with her finger. She said to Matthew, "Not bad."

"Of course." Matthew nodded.

"Then, I can take this more seriously," Charya said. She jumped toward him again while swinging her sword.

Matthew felt something wrong with this swing. He immediately raised his spear and blocked her sword with both of his hands.

"Strong…" Matthew finally felt Charya's power. Although he had expected that she would be a powerful opponent, he never expected Charya's strength surpassed his imagination.

He looked at Charya's Sword that had been covered by Sword Intent. It looked like she used her full strength in that swing as he could see that his spear bent a little. He then sent a kick toward her.

Seeing that, Charya retreated back before she saw Matthew's spear coming from the left. She deflected the spear with her strength before leaping to the sky.

A giant blade then appeared above her. The giant blade moved toward Matthew as Charya swung her sword down.

"Sun Beam!"

Matthew tapped the ground with his spear twice. As soon as he did that, the spear started glowing brightly.

"Spear of Light." Matthew thrust his spear toward the giant blade. Both Martial Arts seemed to be equal, but because Charya had a height advantage, Matthew got a bit suppressed by her sword. Especially when a crater appeared beneath his feet.

After clashing for a while, he finally destroyed Charya's giant sword. He then thrust his spear once again and shot out a laser like attack toward Charya.

"Penetrating Light."

Seeing that, Charya smiled. She shifted her sword a bit and waved it as a Sword Wave flew from her sword.

"Seven Stars Cut."

The overbearing Sword Wave also influenced the atmosphere around the arena, making it hard to breathe for ordinary people. If not because of the barrier, they might die just by feeling this pressure radiated by the Sword Wave.

The people knew it was the same Seven Stars Cut that the disciples from Heavenly Sword Sect had used, but as one would expect from an Elder. The pressure and energy contained in that Sword Wave alone managed to shake the ground a bit before it clashed.

With that little contact, he was pushed down. He tried to break the powerful sword wave. Sadly, he slowly fell to his knees before the Sword Wave completely pinned him down to the ground.

The arena started to crack before making a giant crater because of the strong force emanating from the Sword Wave.

Unfortunately, it did not stop there. The Sword Wave kept pushing him down until his bone started breaking because of the sword. He already knew that Heavenly Sword Sect managed to recover their true Heaven Tier Martial Art because Luna had informed him a year ago. He also had watched the disciples using that move.

Nonetheless, a disciple would only be a disciple. They could not be compared to an elder. This time, he finally felt that the attack was beyond his imagination. It was especially true since it was Charya who used it. After all, even on 9-Star Martial Lord, beside the elders with 10-Star Martial Lord Cultivation, no one would be able to rival her strength.

The moment she said that, she disappeared from his vision, leaving only lightning sparks on the ground.

Sadly, Charya had used her Lightning Element to boost her speed to an unprecedented level, and it was not like he had something like Alex's Spirit Eyes. Even so, because of his high cultivation, he was still able to keep up with her speed somehow.

She struck Matthew's spear with all of her strength and momentum. The shock immediately shook Matthew's body as he felt that powerful strike. The spear was pushed back as the sword even managed to graze his body. He used every ounce of his power just to block this.

He could not go down yet. He, Matthew, was the weakest from Thiveapia team. His objective was to show everyone Charya's strength so they could defeat her easily in the next fight.

He was blown away, and his body struck the invisible barrier. Charya's strike managed to break a few ribs, making him cough blood. Having beaten like this, Matthew could not accept. After all, they only had a single star different.

He released all of his Spiritual Energy as he pointed his spear toward Charya. With his current condition, he would be able to only make one more powerful strike, containing all of his power. He tried to become one with his spear before throwing his body toward Charya.

Charya took a deep breath before waving her sword.

The clash between two was enough to shake the ground and send a powerful shock wave to those around them. Luckily, the barrier prevented the shockwave from going to the people.

"Ha!" Using every single strength in his body, Matthew only wanted to destroy this Sword Wave. Sadly, spirit alone was not enough to break this technique. Even after all of that, he was pushed back to the wall again.

"Puah!" The Sword Wave was destroyed, but Matthew was also knocked out. His vision was blurry as he regretted he could not do more than this. He fell down to the ground, unconscious.
