Gacha Sovereign 40 Fighting The Boss

The spear was melted. Alex frowned.

'This poison is dangerous' he thought.

The snake already close it's distance with Alex. Alex imbued his sword with mana, and Slash it to snake's head.

'This snake really hard.'

The snake was move it's tail, to blow Alex away. Alex call a shield and parry it. Mana is sure useful, even a normal shield when coat with mana, the sturdiness was level up many times.

Alex make a small fire ball and pinched it. he aimed at the snake eyes and release it. the ball release at high speed.

'Fire Snipe'.

This is the usual move Alex used, like in the fight with Joshua or when saving Alicia from Garu.

The snake move it's head away, but the ball still manage to land on it's body. The ball exploded. The ball only leave a little burn mark on the snake body. With this Alex realized, this is not a skin. Alex observed, this snake's body was covered more like with a scale.

'Sshhaa' The snake was angered. It spit another poison. Alex pull out his shield and throw it to the poison. He didn't dare to use shield in his hand to block the poison. He scared if the poison manage to pierce through his shield. Then his hand will be the first target.

The shield was immediately melt when meet with the poison. Luckily, there are no poison get through. The shield manage to completely block the poison.

He move to the snake back. The snake tail move again to him. He parried this snake tail, and spun on the air toward snake's back.

'Sword Intent'

He slash the snake body. He manage to wound the snake, but it's too shallow. The tail already on it's way toward Alex, Alex dodge. But surprisingly, the snake tail landed on the wound Alex created earlier.

'Ssshhhhaaaa!' the snake screamed in pain.

Alex eyes brightened, he created another sword wave toward the wound. The sword wave exploded when it reach the wound.

'Ssshhhhaaaa!' the snake screamed in pain again. Alex look at the wound, he realised. Though the snake scale was hard, if he manage to pierce it. the rest would be easy to cut.

He want to aimed at the wound again, but suddenly he was blown away with the snake's head. He crashed to nearby wall. The snake spit the poison on him. He immediately throw another shield to it. the tail immediately move toward him behind the poison.

'Not good', he was surprised with the snake's tail. He use the sword intent to block this tail. The two was equal in power. When he feel he almost can cut this tail, the snake head charged at him and blown him away.

Alex immediately stabilize his body in the air, and send a flame sword wave to the snake. This time the sword wave manage to reach it's tail. This sword wave manage to make a small wound on the snake's tail.

Now Alex can rest a bit easy, if the snake want to use it's tail to attack him. He can target the wound on it.

When Alex almost crash to the wall, he already stabilize his position. He use the wall to give him a momentum. He step on the wall and jump toward the snake. But not to it's tail but to another wound on the snake's back.

The snake noticed his movement, it immediately move it's head toward the wound to guard it. he infused his mana to his fist, making the fist flame covered his whole fist. He punch the snake's head.

'Boom'

When the punch landed on the snake's head, it exploded. Because of this explosion, the head was blown away, this make him have a time to strike the wound once again. He slashed the wound once again with his sword.

'Sshhhaa!' The snake screamed in pain, just as Alex want to throw another strike. The tail already block it way. But this move was foolish. If he can't strike the back's wound, he can still strike at the tail's wound.

He use this chance to slash at the tail's wound with sword intent. The wound become deeper, makin the snake's tail split to two with one meter deep.

'Sshhhaa!' the head was spitting another poison. Alex just easily blocked it with throwing a shield. He continue to strike at the wound.

He throw another fist with fire.

'Absolute Blast'

Another explosion blowing away the tail. He move toward the wound on it's back. He throw another fist. This time the fist pierce to inside the snake stomach, and exploded inside.

The head already move toward him again and blown him away. but to Alex, this snake is doing it's last struggle. Alex make a few arrow shaped like flame. He was inspired from Alicia when she make many ice spear in the fight with Garu Tekuis. He make the flame arrow specially target the back's wound.

'boom, boom, boom!' A series of explosion come out. After each arrow explode Alex immediately make another flame arrow and sent it to the same spot.

The snake using all it's body to protect it's wound but, because it organ was already burned out because Alex earlier Absolute blast, the snake almost didn't have enough energy to deal with this arrow that coming like a machine gun.

After a few ten arrows explode, the snake was killed. The snake body only have two wound visible, but if this snake was cut and see it's inside. All the inside already burned out by Alex.

Soon enough, the body start to disappear. What left is a head size red colored monster core. The energy contained it was higher than rank 4 monster's core. As expected from rank 5 monster, Alex thought.

"Using that much arrow really take to much mana from my body" he leaned to the wall. He was exhausted. Using that arrow continuously, make him feel like his mana being suck out from his body.

After this fight, Alex realized. He didn't have much skill in his persona. Even he can use magic and manipulate it with his mind. But that take too much time and probabilities to failure.

He programmed two skill in this fight, that is Absolute Blast and Fire arrow. Beside this he only use his Fire snipe, Flame sword wave, and Sword intent. He really need to make a few skill, so he can make a variation combination attack. In the academy, he always fight with a person below his power so he didn't notice this. But this time, with this snake he realized this problem.

"System, use 50 tickets in Tool Gacha. I use too many weapon and shield in this fight"

The boss monster changed every respawn, start from snake, bear even a tree summoned as the boss monster. But he realized something, in this week there are no hunter pass this floor, From upper floor. He first thought was because the scarcity of gold rank or above hunter. That why There's no one passing here.

Of course he didn't really mind though. Since there are no one bothering his killing spree. When Alex ini dungeon he really like a killing machine. Beside killing monsters, he make a few programmed techniques. He made 3 techniques, they are Boost Step, Flame Armor, and Fire claw.

Boost Step is a techniques to make a small explosion below his speed, so when he jumped, this techniques can give him a boost for his speed. Flame armor is like it's name implied, his fire to make an armor like shape like chain mail or shield. As for fire claw is literally what the name said, a Fire Claw. He never good with naming anyway, so he just give the techniques this plain name.

Fortunately, he was also a cultivator. If not he can't make or manipulate his flame this easily and make a techniques for it. and now he didn't become a mainstream like mage. His techniques is specially made by himself to give him a boost in his fighting.

"ROAR!", The turtle roared in pain. But this turtle simply have much energy.
