Minhyun pointed to the ceiling. "The smart system is interesting isn't she? She's a new prototype our technology subsidiary has been working on. She's going to be available in the market this year after we finish our marketing campaign."

Yoona widened her eyes. "Oh yeah! I was really surprised when I heard the voice when I opened the door. Teach me how to use it!"

Minhyun was excited to show her one of his latest accomplishments.

"Gloria," Minhyun began. "Play the top song on the current charts."

"Yes sir."

A familiar pop-based tune began to play through the speakers. The sound of female voices echoing around the house.

Yoona gasped excitedly before bopping her head to the rhythm. The feel-good song instantly lifted up her mood. "That's so cool. I feel like i'm in 2040."

"Isn't she great? We're almost finishing the final tests and now are working on the marketing aspect. Either way it's going to be before our time. Much more efficient than the other smart homes in many ways."

While listening to Minhyun speak about the prototype, Yoona couldn't help but feel quite... Small. Here she was, an average university student trying to get through life, yet Minhyun was in charge of a massive company making amazing projects like Gloria. Even though she was a business student and Minhyun had offered her a project management job for the future, she still felt like she wasn't doing much.

Minhyun was extraordinary for an average person so she knew not to compare herself to him, but as a human, she couldn't help but make these comparisons.

"What else can she do?" Yoona asked while leaning forward.

"Watch this." Minhyun stood up and began to walk to the kitchen. Then he took a glass cup from the cupboards and placed the cup under water component of the refrigerator.

"Gloria fill glass with half a cup of water and open the refrigerator."

Just like how he instructed, the refrigerator did it's magic. When he came back, the glass was half full and in his other hand was a smoothie. "Want some?"

"Yes please!"

He carefully threw the smoothie bottle to her direction. Yoona thankfully caught it without any problems in her hands before opening the lid to take a sip. Strawberry and banana. Her favorite.

"Well," she began. "Quite impressive... But isn't it sort of useless? Nobody is that lazy to not be able to open a door or press a button."

It was great and all, but everything seemed a tad bit redundant.

Minhyun snapped his fingers. "This is where you are wrong. Let me show you a very important lesson Yoona."

He pointed to the kitchen appliances. "What I showed you just now was that there is a network excising between all these devices. You see all those kitchen appliances? They all have the technological capabilities to connect to Gloria. Of course, this may not be necessary for the regular person. I agree with you there. However, you have to look at the big picture."

Then his attention faced towards the white rectangle placed on the wall. "What is this big picture you ask? Well, if a customer were to buy one of our appliances, there will be a greater chance of them buying another product of ours. Another important aspect is that because our appliances connect to a online system, it means it would be easy to add another product to the family using code."

Yoona cocked her head. She understood the whole network portion, but didn't know where the whole conversation was leading to.

"MH is always looking towards the future. Currently, we are creating a robot to complete all chores that humans can. Bring food and water. Cook easy dishes. Clean the house. And more to be added in the future through coding. With the present integration of this network, it will be easier to integrate this new maid because everything is connected. Crazy isn't it?"

Yoona widened her eyes and her mouth opened. Minhyun was definitely in the future.

"Don't tell anyone okay? The high-grade robot is a secret." He placed his index finger on his lips.

She copied his actions. "Okay. Your secrets safe with me."

Amazement filled her mind. It was absolutely mind-boggling. She knew that Minhyun was smart but everyday she was constantly reminded on how truly brilliant this man was.

"Wow, you're so amazing. What are you doing with someone like me," Yoona joked.

"Someone like you? What do you mean?"

She scrunched her face. "I don't know. Sometimes it feels like you're all the way up there and it's hard to catch up."

Minhyun chuckled. "Yoona. You just lack a bit of experience that's all. A lot of people discredit me saying that these are obvious results because I was proclaimed a genius as a child but in the end, it's not about what is up here, but how much effort you put in and your will power. You just haven't found your timing yet."

She let out a smile. He always knew the right things to say. Minhyun lacked touch with a lot of other people but with her, they were definitely connected in some type of way.

"Besides," Minhyun said. "If you can soften my heart then nothing is impossible for you."
