"You can have him help you too," Minhyun replied. "He's an AI so he has the capability to be in multiple places at once."

Having this machine do a lot of her work for her would be amazing and would save her a lot of time. However, she wanted to do everything with her own strength. Unlike Minhyun who needed to power that White Mask possesses, she was just an average worker.

"It's okay!" She said with a smile. "I can do this."

He cocked his head, wondering if he should offer another worker in their office instead, but just nodded.

"Okay, but if you ever want something. I shall give it to you."

She shook her head with her lips curled up. "Okay silly."

He stayed silent for a moment. "Are you going to continue working."

Yoona took in the information slowly and nodded. The worry in his voice, already let her know the seriousness. "Okay, I will."

"I also assigned someone to guard you. Although you won't be able to see him, he's by your side at all time, rest assured."

Nobody wanted to be followed all day long, but for Yoona, she felt the worry fall off her shoulders. She didn't want to repeat the terror of being kidnapped again. She had enough of being involved with these psychopaths who wanted to hurt her.

"Thanks," she said with a light smile. Then she pursed her lips slightly. She knew that Minhyun's father was the main enemy, but the exact details were fuzzy to her. She wanted to know what she'd be up against. "Just wondering, will you ever let me in on the details to what this war is about?"

Minhyun stayed silent for a moment, before looking up. "I can give you a brief overview but I cannot give away too much information, not because you aren't trustworthy, but because these secrets could cost you your life."

This asshole. Within her heart, anger surged. A father shouldn't cause his son this much pain - yet Minhyun's father was doing everything he could to ruin his own son's life. It was sickening. And to think that Minhyun had to plot against him.

She pursed her lips. "How?"

Minhyun paused for a moment, his eyes diving deep into hers, before looking away slightly. Not because he was nervous, but because he didn't want to show her the disgustingly cold expression of his. "By killing the roots of his operations."

Yoona did not ask any further.

This was enough for the day.
