Fourth Quest (6)

Vivian clicked her tongue as she was walking towards a group of tiny jumping mushrooms rushing towards her.
She stopped and bent down to pull out her kitchen knife from her boot before resuming walking.
When the monsters finally entered within her attack range, she began swinging her weapons and also using her legs to kick and stomp them.
Whooosh!
Whaaack!
Pah!
Bam-squish!
Poink!
After killing the mushrooms, she slid her knife back inside her boot and resumed walking around to search for enemies.
I forgot to ask if those mushrooms, sunflowers and fox have quest items…
I mean, I've been killing quite a few after all…
She then recalled about overhunting and disrupting the balance, causing her to shake her head.
Yeah…
I don’t think can't afford to lose my license and be branded as a criminal…
She thought about the 2 kids she met earlier.
Maybe I should've interviewed them…?
Oh well…

Vivian saw a Treebark up ahead.
She didn't stop walking and contemplated how she would deal with it.
Should I try punching it…?
I mean, the Body of the [Fist Mastery] is only (??/50)…
As much as I want to level up the main and body of my [Fist Mastery] as fast as possible, I also don't want my hand to be covered in green fluid…
The Treebark finally noticed Vivian and immediately charged.
Yeah, I won't do it…
She burst out into a run and then leaped over the monster. When she landed behind it, she quickly dropped her whip, grabbed the monster with both hands and then lifted it up.
BRAAAK!
She slammed the monster's body on the ground and it shattered to pieces.
She picked up her whip and then resumed roaming around to search for more enemies.
I also wonder what does a baby Treebark look like…
I've already seen the fox…
But never the Treebark…
That sunflower and mushrooms as well…

Vivian let out a sigh as she was walking.
There were 2 sunflower monsters up ahead.
She burst out running.
The 2 monsters noticed her and immediately charged towards her.
Waaack!
Waaaak!
This time around, she only used her left hand and decapitated them one by one with a chop attack. She didn't even bother to look at them as she continued walking around to search for enemies.

Beak!
Beak!
Vivian stopped and searched for the bird. Once she spotted it, she immediately rushed towards it.
Whaaack!
Beeeaaak!
Thud.
After whacking the bird away with her whip, she quickly rushed to its side.
Bam!
She finished it off with her fist.
She was about to pull out her kitchen knife and extract the tail but stopped.
She stood up and swept her gaze around.
After confirming there were no enemies, she resumed extracting the tail.

Vivian was walking and spotted a monster up ahead.
It was a Treebark.
Well…
Now that I've thought about it…
Just because I don't want my hands to be covered in green fluid, that doesn't I have to use my full strength, right…?
But does tapping it count…?
I mean, I was able to learn [Whip Mastery] by using this whip even though it can kill anything except when I used [Power Whip]…
The Treebark finally noticed Vivian and immediately rushed towards her.
When the monster got close enough, Vivian dropped her whip to the ground and then leaped over the monster.
Landing behind it, she turned around and threw a punch.
Pah.
Unfortunately, the amount of force she used was too light that it didn't even manage to budge the monster, let alone crack its shell.
Whooosh!
The monster swung its branch-like arms as it turned around and Vivian easily evaded it by simply taking a step back.
Tch!
She clicked her tongue.
The monster charged forward and Vivian jumped over it once again.
Landing behind it, she turned around and threw another punch. But this time around, it was a little stronger.
Pah!
Crack!
Thud.
The force of the punch was strong enough that it managed to not only crack the monster’s shell but also push it and cause it to fall to the ground.
The monster tried to get up, but Vivian already rushed to its side. She grabbed its body with both hands from both ends and lifted it above her shoulders.
BRAAAK!!!
She slammed the monster on the ground with all her strength and its body shattered into pieces.
Looking at the shattered Treebark, Vivian shook her head.
That was stupid…
I wasted too much time and energy…
Although Vivian could really tell that she was a superhuman now that even her body from her previous world would struggle just to match 25% of her current strength and she also didn't even feel any DOMS after doing physical activities the whole day, she still could feel some fatigue.
"Yeah, I'm never doing that ever again…"
She searched for her whip and then picked it up before resuming to walk around to search for enemies.

Vivian stopped and a serious expression spread across her face.
Two Bukaroos, huh…
She looked around.
When she spotted one, she immediately rushed to it without any hesitation.
Whaaack!
Beeeaaak!
Thud.
After whacking the bird away, she didn't run to its side to finish it off but instead ran around to search for the other bird.
Beak!
Beak!
She immediately stopped and turned toward the direction it was coming from. When she spotted the bird, she rushed to it.
Whaaack!
Beeeaaak!
Thud.
She whacked the bird away and quickly went over to where it landed.
Bam!
When she raised her fist, she quickly searched for the other bird that she struck first.
It's still on the ground…
She saw the bird still on the ground and it was flapping its wings, trying to get up. And as she made her way over to the bird, she was constantly looking over her surroundings.
When she finally got to the bird, she formed a fist with her left hand and raised it.
Bam!
As Vivian was driving her fist to the ground, the bird whipped its tail and stung her foot, causing her to pause for a moment, before it got flattened to death.
She got up and quickly checked the part where the bird stung it with its tail.
Fortunately, it was covered in leather boots so it wasn't able to reach her skin.
"Wew!"
"Thank God I bought these boots!"
She looked around once more to see if there were other enemies.
Her eyes narrowed when she noticed a single sunflower monster heading towards her location and she quickly rushed towards it.
Waaack!
She decapitated the monster with one chop using her left hand. She didn't bother to look at the dead monster as she swept her gaze around her surroundings to see if there were other enemies.
I guess that's it…
She turned around and went over to the corpses of the Bukaroos to extract their tails before resuming to roam around to search for enemies.

Pah!
Arrrwww!
Thud.
A fox leaped at Vivian and she easily kicked it away mid-air.
She quickly rushed to where the monster landed and it was still caught in a dizzy spell as she raised her left boot.
Thud.
Arw!
Arrww!
Vivian pressed her left boot against the fox's head, pinning it on the ground and causing it to whine and struggle helplessly.
"Hold still, you little shit!" she said as she slowly lowered her body.
Once she got into a comfortable position, she put down her whip and grabbed one of its legs.
Crack!
ARRRWWW!
Vivian bent the bone on the animal's leg in the opposite direction, causing it to cry out in pain and struggle even harder. And under its desperate and pointless struggle, her face was expressionless and she grabbed another leg.
Crack!
ARRRWWW!!!
Seeing the fox crying louder and also struggling harder, Vivian tilted her head to the side.
Now that I think about it…
Do I really have to break all 4 legs or just 1…?
I mean, I don't want to waste time…
I also don't want to attract more enemies from this little shit's howling…
I definitely need to kill and level up efficiently…
Hmm…
I'll try 1…
Ba-crack!
ARRRWWW!
She drove a fist on the fox's rib, breaking a few bones and forming a crater.
"Heh~ You're still alive~"
Craaack!
She increased the force of her left boot on top of the fox's head until it made a cracking noise.
Vivian picked up her whip and stood up.
When she moved her left foot and saw the fox's cracked head, she wiped her forehead and let out a sigh of relief.
"Thank God I used the right amount of force!”
Truth be told, she was worried that if she used too much force, aside from the bone fragments of the fox’s skull to pierce her boot, the contents would come bursting out and soil her shoes and pants.
She resumed roaming around to search for enemies.
But just after a few steps, she stopped and facepalmed.
Pah!
"FUCKING IDIOT!!!"
"Ugh…!"
"I fucking forgot to use [Heal] on it!"
"God dammit!"
She let out a sigh.
"There's just so many things on my mind that -- Ah, what the hell!"
"I promise that I won't go home until I fucking get the [Body Art] of [Heal]!"
