Whaaack!
Beeeaaak!
Thud.
Vivian whacked a Bukaroo away with her whip and immediately rushed to where it landed.
Bam!
She raised her foot and then stomped it to death before extracting its tail.
Once she was done, she resumed searching for enemies.
A couple of steps later…
Whaaack!
Beeeaaak!
Thud.
Vivian whacked another Bukaroo and immediately rushed to where it landed.
Bam!
She raised her foot and extracted the tail.
She resumed searching for enemies.

Grrr!
Up ahead, there it was a fox who barred its fangs before rushing to her.
Rawr!
She easily evaded the fox's jump attack and it landed behind her.
Bam!
Craaack!
Arrrwww!
The moment it landed on the ground and as it tried to turn over to face Vivian, it was met with a swift kick to its ribs, causing the sound of broken bones to erupt from its body as it yelped in pain and was sent flying a few feet away.
Vivian immediately rushed towards it but suddenly stopped about 4ft away from it.
The fox was still lying on the ground. Blood was coming out of its mouth and it was desperately gasping for air.
Is it safe…?
Let's see…
She stepped closer and raised her foot.
The fox’s eyes glanced at Vivian's boot but it didn't move.
Bam!
Craaack!
Hearing the bones cracking under her boot, she immediately lifted it and checked its sole.
"Wew…!"
"I was worried that its bone might have penetrated my boot!"
"Thank God!"
She resumed searching for enemies.

Vivian noticed a Treebark up ahead and suddenly burst out running.
When she got about 10ft away from the monster, it turned to her direction and charged.
The monster swung one of its arms when Vivian entered within its attack range but missed as she jumped and landed behind it.
Vivian dropped her weapons, grabbed the monster from top and bottom and lifted it up above her head.
BRAAAK!!!
She slammed its body against the ground with all her strength and it shattered into pieces, causing bits of its shell and green fluid to splatter all around.
Vivian bent down to pick up her weapons. And as she was picking them up, she then noticed 2 sunflower monsters approaching at the corner of her eye.
She hastily grabbed her weapons and rushed to them.
Whooosh!
Whaaack!
She stopped and swept her gaze around her surroundings.
After confirming that there were no monsters left, she resumed walking around to search for more.

Vivian was casually walking towards 2 sunflower monsters up ahead.
When she reached about 10ft away from them, they turned to her and charged.
She continued walking casually as her eyes swept around the area to see if there other monsters, such as a Bukaroo.
Whooosh!
Whaaack!
She easily dispatched them with 1 hit each with her weapons and continued searching for enemies.

"Well, at least I get more exp…" Vivian said with a deadpan expression as she stared at the tiny jumping mushrooms rushing toward her.
She burst out into a light jog to meet the halfway.
Whooosh!
Whaaack!
Pah!
Whooosh!
Ba-squish!
Poink!
She used her kitchen knife, whip and legs to deal with them.
After dealing with them she resumed walking around to search for enemies.

Vivian was rushing towards 2 Treebarks.
Beak!
Beak!
When she heard that sound, she immediately stopped in her tracks and searched for the Bukaroo.
Once she spotted it, she charged towards it.
Whaaack!
Beeeaaak!
Thud.
She whacked the bird away with her whip and immediately rushed to where it landed.
Bam!
After delivering a stomp to the bird, she returned her attention to the 2 Treebarks and they were charging towards her.
She rushed to the closest one.
Bam!
Craaack!
Thud!
Vivian delivered a flying kick to the first Treebark. The kick made a cracking noise on the monster's body and it crashed to the ground before sliding a few feet away. She didn't finish it off right away and turned to the other Treebark which was rushing towards her.
When the other monster got close, she jumped over it and landed behind it.
She dropped her weapons, grabbed the monster with both hands and lifted it up in the air.
BRAAAK!
She slammed it on the ground with all of her strength and it shattered into pieces.
Vivian didn't bother picking up her weapons and rushed to the first Treebark that she flying kicked earlier which was already up and rushing towards her.
Whooosh!
The monster swung its branch-like arm and missed as Vivian jumped and landed behind it.
Pah!
Craaack!
Thud!
The monster's body didn't shatter into pieces and only made some cracking noise from her backkick but was still sent flying a few feet away before crashing to the ground.
Tch!
Vivian clicked her tongue before rushing towards the monster.
BRAAAK!
She delivered a soccer kick to the monster while it was trying to get up and its body shattered into pieces.
Vivian scratched her head and looked around.
"Now where are those weapons…?"
Once she found her whip and kitchen knife, she went over to the corpse of the Bukaroo to extract its tail. After that, she resumed walking around to search for enemies.

Vivian was running to meet a sunflower monster.
Whooosh!
She swung her kitchen knife once the monster entered her attack range.
Thud!
Thud!
"FUCK!!!" Vivian suddenly shouted as she threw her knife and whip on the ground.
Pah.
She facepalmed her forehead and began massaging it.
"This is really stupid…!"
"How can I upgrade my [Light Mastery] if I can't even use [Heal] because I'm not even getting hit…?!"
She put her hand down and let out a sigh.
"I tried healing myself last night 10 times but it still didn't level up…"
"Even the [Body Art] didn't come out…"
"Why…?"
"I mean, why didn't it level up…?"
"Why did I level up when those Priests bombarded me with Light Magic skills and yet it didn't level up when I healed myself 10 times last night…?"
She recalled what the male receptionist from the Temple of Priests told her.
"Ease the pain and suffering of others…"
"Maybe I should've healed that kid from earlier…?"
"But he did say that it's against the rules to heal strangers for free…"
"And I don't know how much should I charge and they were only Copper I…"
"But they had better equipment though…"
"Maybe I could've asked for that sword…"
She shook her head.
Although they were Copper I liked her, they were only around 15 years old. Vivian didn't like bullying people for no reason, especially kids.

But that guy also said that I can learn [Greater Heal] by using [Heal] on myself…

Should I go deeper into the forest to search for stronger enemies…?
Although Vivian roams around the forest, she only stays within the edges or closer to Luxen City.
She shook her head.
My equipment is not yet enough and the monsters are aggressive…
An idea popped inside her head.
What if I go emo and cut myself…?
Yeah, maybe I'll try tha--...
"Wait!"
"Ease the pain and suffering of OTHERS, right?"
She lowered her head and a huge evil grin appeared on her face.
She picked up her weapons and resumed roaming around the forest.
