Chapter 1309: 872 Chapter: Kill It, It Stole My Sunshine Chapter 1309: 872 Chapter: Kill It, It Stole My Sunshine “Chaos Mist is also Undead? This really is the biggest secret of the Void, my god, why didn't I think of it? Such an obvious connection, why didn't I think of it?” Anthony said excitedly.
“I told you, why did Your Majesty's strength improve so quickly after arriving at the Chaos Plane, acquiring a Primordial Body in less than a few hundred years, that's not logical, it turns out it was because of this.”
Negris furrowed his brow, “Isn't that illogical? But Ange advanced faster than the Old Immortal.”
“Well, my lord, you can't deduce with common sense, hence he is a Law Breaker, an existence that defies the laws,” Anthony's cheeks twitched, his heart harboring words he dared not voice.
“But the Old Immortal is also a Law Breaker,” Negris retorted.
Anthony spread his hands, “Maybe that's the reason Your Majesty defies the laws.”
Negris pouted, discontent, “After all this time, we've been deceived, worrying me for so long.”
“There's no help for it, we are not beings that ignore the laws, if we knew, maybe others could predict from our future what specifically had happened,” Anthony sighed, his tone filled with deep helplessness.
He was not someone who liked his fate being manipulated; he preferred to lay plans, to have everything unfold according to his arrangements; however, no matter how high his intelligence or schemes, they were all meaningless in the eyes of these Primordial entities.
After the Monarch took Negris's Power of the Prophet, he could always foresee some fragments of the future, until Ange appeared.
Because of Ange's protection, only then could His Majesty not see their futures, otherwise their futures in the eyes of His Majesty would be as clear as insects in a glass jar.
That's why His Majesty always stressed that they could not grasp this secret. If His Majesty could seize the Power of the Prophet, couldn't other Primordial entities too?
Why would Void Will know about the birth of a new Law Breaker in the distant Material Plane when it had never seen Ange?
With this realization, although Anthony felt very disappointed, he also controlled himself very well and refrained from asking further.
Now, His Majesty's setup finally bore fruit; the Ancient Godlight always lurking behind the scenes was finally lured out. This truly was the source of the real power of Void Will; however, it was a pity that as soon as it appeared, it was entangled by His Majesty.
All the mists of the entire Chaos Plane gathered here, coalescing into several thick white chains nearby, winding round and round onto the Ancient Godlight's body, firmly locking it in place.
A huge face in the mist said, “Ange, it's your turn.”
Ange nodded and patted his left shoulder, the God of Life, well-prepared, emerged quickly growing, spreading towards the Ancient Godlight.
However, Ange felt this was too slow, and he patted his left shoulder again, summoning Little Sapling, then charged towards the Ancient Godlight with them at the front.
Anthony slapped his thigh, excitedly saying, “My god, this really is His Majesty's true goal, not only to lure out the Ancient Godlight but also to use it as an energy source to rebuild the balance of the Void. The collapse of the Void is the biggest crisis right now, His Majesty seeks the sapling of the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms, originally to use it here.”
Negris's mouth dropped open; no wonder the Old Immortal said it couldn't grasp this secret, one ring fitting into another, just thinking about it makes one's head explode, indeed ungraspable.
Being ungraspable means they cannot influence the process, only remaining far away as mere spectators.
The supremely confident Ancient Godlight, arriving across space, found itself somewhat annoyed and enraged when struck squarely on the head twice, furiously struggling and emitting a majestic angered roar, “Mere Law Breakers, you also wish to bind the only light of the Ancients?”
“Law Breaker? Who is the law? You? Ha, I am the king of all the Undead in the Void, and as you were born from the corpse of Ancient Godlight, theoretically, you are a child of Ancient Godlight, and you should call me 'father,'” the Monarch said. Although he usually did not argue, when he did, he inadvertently played the 'I am your father' card.
However, Ancient Godlight was immune to such damage because it had no father. It simply retreated within itself, and from its center, darkness expanded–the Abyssal Secrets.
The dark abyss swallowed up Ange and the white chains entangling him.
A face in the mist frowned and complained irritably, “Big Mouth, your Abyssal Secrets are so commonplace; why can everybody use them?”
Still circling the Void Will with its mouth open, Abyssal Big Mouth's face turned round with frustration: “Don't call me Big Mouth!”
It could only make the Monarch stop calling it Big Mouth but could not deny that Abyssal Secrets were too commonplace; it was too aggrieved.
Just then, at Ange's location, a bright light pierced the darkness, forcibly shining from the realm of Abyssal Secrets.
At the center of the light appeared Ange, the Primordial Body, compressing a huge Ancient Black Stone with both hands. The entire black stone lit up, emitting a dazzling light.
Under the intense light, the God of Life grew wildly. Its roots penetrated space, piercing from outside the range of the abyss, constantly growing branches, spreading far away.
If this continued, it wouldn't be long before the branches of the God of Life would envelop this part of the void.
Little Sapling, however, couldn't see any change and just energetically waved its True Leaf towards Ange's hands, emitting fervent messages: “Ya–Bright–Ya–Bright–”
“Hmm?” A curious message came from within the abyss, and the gravitational pull of the abyss suddenly intensified. The strong light emanating from between Ange's hands actually began to curve? After traveling some distance, the curving light was cast back toward the abyss.
Ange cocked his head and shouted, “Hole Bug!”
The Hole Bug poked its head out from the space, also tilting its head in imitation of Ange. Alright, sometimes body language is contagious.
“Black Stone,” Ange called.
The Hole Bug smacked its mouth, then spat a black stone into the strong light above Ange's hands. As soon as the black stone entered the light, the luminosity surged like wood added to fire.
“Black Stone,” Ange continued to shout.
The Hole Bug kept spitting, and Ange kept calling. This time, the Hole Bug understood and never closed its mouth again. A massive amount of Ancient Black Stones was thrown into the light, tearing open a large hole in the dark abyss.
“Using Ancient Black Stone to stimulate the light, to break the Abyssal Secrets of Ancient Godlight, feels so strange,” Anthony said in a twisted manner.
Indeed, it was strange. Ancient Godlight realized that it could not suppress Ange this way and had to retract its Abyssal Secrets.
With the abyss disappearing, the true form of Ancient Godlight emerged. Thus, two sources of strong light suddenly appeared in the void. However, the next moment, the dark abyss descended once again, but this time it originated from Ange himself.
The Monarch's face, formed from the mist, changed expression: “Ange, what are you doing?” Clearly, Ange's actions were unexpected to the Monarch.
A resolute voice from Ange echoed from the abyss: “To kill it, it's stealing my sunlight.”
