Chapter 1306: Chapter 869: The Most Glorious Thing is Unknown, Suffocatingly Hidden Chapter 1306: Chapter 869: The Most Glorious Thing is Unknown, Suffocatingly Hidden According to the arrangement of the Array, once released, the sphere of light would turn into energy streams, piercing through the Chaos Plane, reaching another anchor point. Then, utilizing the Space Slingshot Effect, it would return, piercing through the Chaos Plane again, and back to the original anchor point, repeating this process over and over.
In this repetitive catapulting process, the entire Chaos Plane, and even the whole Void, would be shattered. All matter, energy, fog, life, and souls would be ground to dust, merging into the streams.
During the constant back-and-forth, the streams, having absorbed the matter of the entire Void, grew increasingly large, accelerating to the limit, and finally flung towards distant worlds, attempting to transcend the endless Energy Level Desert.
However, the plan that had been prepared for a hundred thousand years came to an abrupt stop at the second step. The second anchor point had disappeared?
One side spanned one hundred eighty million kilometers, totaling over three hundred million kilometers on both sides. The Void Will simply could not detect the other anchor point's condition.
Only when the Array was activated, and the stream formed, arriving at the Chaos Plane, would it discover, to its shock, the other anchor point was gone. Without thinking, it knew who was behind it, Kvada!
“Ha ha ha ha! The other anchor point got eaten by the bugs.” The rage of the Void Will not only failed to elicit sympathy, but instead triggered a roar of laughter.
The Void Will quivered with rage: “Hole Bugs!”
The Hole Bugs blankly protruded their heads from Dimensional Space.
Ange lifted his palm, rubbing his thumb and forefinger together, and little orbs of Time Gel began to float up.
The eyes of the Hole Bugs brightened, their heads elongated in an instant, slurping up all the Time Gel, completely disregarding the Void Will.
“Damn it, you're infuriating me, I will flay you alive!” screamed the Void Will in anger.
“Wait a minute!” A voice of authority echoed through the entire area. Anthony stepped forward, pointing righteously at the Void Will and declared, “You are human!”
“Ah?” Almost everyone was bewildered by Anthony's sudden outburst, thrown into a state of confusion. How could the Void Will be human?
The Void Will's voice, on the contrary, remained cool and collected as it asked, “How did I suddenly become human?”
“Heh, if you hadn't responded to me, I wouldn't have been certain. But now that you have, I'm one hundred percent sure. Would the Void Will suppress its own rage because of a being from another plane questioning it? In such a state of fury, regardless of what I asked, you should have squashed us first before replying, unless my question mattered greatly to you,” Anthony analyzed.
After hearing this, everyone exchanged glances, variously affirming, “That makes sense. When I was devouring things, a planar being asked me from afar if the Abyss had mercy. I couldn't care less about him.”
That was the normal reaction of a Primordial God. If they had to respond to every single planar being's question, how could they ever keep up?
“Heh, I just wanted you to die with a clear understanding,” said the Void Will.
“Heh, if you weren't human, you wouldn't have blurted out about flaying our skins in such anger. Who among us even has skin?” Anthony questioned.
Negris quickly raised his hand: “I do, I do.”
Durken also raised his hand: “I have some too, just that it's a bit old and tough.”
The remaining Ange, Monarch, Big Mouth, and Dark Origin exchanged looks–they didn't have any skin.
“In a normal state, anything you say would be reasonable. But in such a furious state, you rashly threatened to flay our skins, which means at your core, you perceive yourself as a being with skin and consider flaying as a cruel punishment. So, you are a human,” Anthony declared loudly.
The Void Will fell silent. The silence was worse than denial, it drew attention, making everyone wonder if Anthony wasn't just babbling to stall for time. Could he have guessed correctly? How could the Void Will possibly be human?
“How did you figure it out?” Negris seized the opportunity to ask through the Soul Network.
Anthony responded: “If he hadn't acknowledged me, then I would have been just guessing. But since he did, some doubts got resolved. Why did he choose Tuxi Rikis as the anchor point? Because he himself was once human, having left behind forbidden magic, which was passed down by Tuxi Rikis. Moreover, it's quite possible that we have all heard his name before. Trick him for a second, call out his name–Adams.”
“What?! He's Adams? The Adams from Adams' Repressing Ring? Impossible. The timings don't match up,” Negris blurted out impulsively.
“That's why I told you to trick him. He is probably guarded against me by now; my deception won't work as well as yours,” Anthony said.
Alright, Negris steadied himself and bellowed: “Adams! You are the Adams who used forbidden magic to bind Queen Seth!”
The Void Will couldn't remain silent any longer. It asked with confusion, “It seems that you do know everything, but what do you mean by Queen Seth?”
Negris recounted the affair of Queen Seth, immediately provoking the Void Will's fury: “Nonsense, I never did such a thing! When was the Seth Empire established? I know nothing about it.”
“Though you didn't do it yourself, someone who learned your magic did and even named the malicious Magic Artifact after you–Adams' Repressing Ring–angered everyone, and ultimately, your magic was deemed forbidden and burnt,” Anthony said.
“I… I…” The Void Will felt like spitting blood: “No wonder I summoned for thousands of years and in the end, only one person responded to my summons, forcing me to use True Illusion to copy one. It turns out someone impersonated me to do evil deeds. I condemn him…”
The Void Will wanted to tear that person apart. It was as if a meticulously prepared celebration had been besmirched with someone defecating on the main stage.
“So, you really are Adams? The Adams who created manifold Spirit Control Magic? How did you become the Void Will?” Anthony asked curiously.
The Void Will was about to answer when its mind involuntarily drifted to the side. Seeing that somehow Ange and the Monarch had floated to one side, squatting with their hands on their knees.
This was the Void and not a ridge in a field; why squat? Were they getting ready to watch a spectacle?
Noticing the Void Will's diverted attention, Anthony swiftly motioned behind him, urgently shouting in the Soul Network, “My Lord, stand up, quickly stand up.”
Oh, Ange promptly stood up, casually 'helping' the Monarch to his feet too–it was his habit to squat, learned from the Monarch.
The Void Will felt a bit relieved, took a deep breath, and said, “Although I don't know how you guessed it, now that you know, let me explain in detail. The occupation of the Void Will is the most glorious achievement of my life, yet nobody knows about it. It's been suffocating.”
