Chapter 1278: Chapter 841 Electric Attack Chapter 1278: Chapter 841 Electric Attack Ferocious energy was wildly ejected, instantly swallowing the humanoid energy body.
Energy appeared as a tapered column of light, stretching far away and creating a huge void in the distant Chaos Mist.
Everyone, including the Monarch and New Dark Source, was stunned by this spectacle, all internally gauging whether they could withstand the impact of such terrifying energy, eventually concluding they could not.
Unless relying on sheer size, no material or energy could remain intact under such intense impact–it had surpassed the limits that matter could withstand, and not even the mysteries of time and space were certain to hold.
Ange's Space Solidification could not withstand this force, it could support it for only seven seconds before failing–Ange had merely cleverly directed the energy to burst in one direction.
Among those present, only Abyssal Big Mouth was confident it could withstand it, at most only being hole-punched but certainly not having its life threatened.
However, to everyone's surprise, when the energy dissipated, the humanoid energy body did not vanish; instead, it froze in place, its whole body turning into a silvery-white luster, like a statue of mercury.
“Hiss–how is that possible?” exclaimed Negris, unable to contain himself. “What did it just yell? 'Absolute Barrier'? Is that the Absolute Barrier?”
“Let's call it Absolute Barrier,” quietly started the voice of Abyssal Big Mouth, “Void with its supreme will tightly arranges energy elements together, forming a barrier with no gaps at the elemental level, also known as Mercury Guardian.”
Negris turned his head, surprised, “Where are you?”
“I'm right behind you. Shh, keep quiet, don't let Void Will see me,” said Abyssal Big Mouth hastily.
Anthony warned, “Lord Abyss, you better not be harboring any ill intentions given the situation. Please avoid such thoughts. Lord Nage's true form isn't in this body, and I am protected by my master; even if you devour me, I can still retain my memory, reborn, and then continuously smash you with Black Stone.”
Anthony's timely warning made Abyssal Big Mouth sheepishly reply, “Why would I? If I really had such thoughts, I wouldn't be hiding. By hiding, I'm just afraid of exposing our relationship. Don't worry; our cooperation is solid as a barrier.”
Trust you not, but not wanting to create any complications, Anthony didn't pursue it further and only had to stay vigilant to prevent any schemes.
Void Will still maintained the form of a mercury statue but its angry voice already echoed through the void, “Damned Law Breaker, where did you find the fragments of my origin? You used my origin fragments to bombard me with Ancient Godlight? You…”
Ange didn't care to listen to its roar, caught a Little Snake, sniffed it, and shuddered.
“Lord, I'm Little Snake here, looking for me…” Serpent of Misfortune hadn't finished speaking when it was shoved back into the space.
His scales undulating, Ange transformed again into the Muscle Dragon God, pulling out a watermelon-sized piece of Ancient Black Stone in his hand.
“That motherfu–” began Void Will furiously, but immediately saw Ange gesture, cut half of the Ancient Black Stone off, and put it back into the space, only holding onto half, ready for use.
“Madness,” said Void Will, unable to keep up with Farming Skeleton's mind, cursing bitterly as its presence swiftly faded.
Almost the moment its presence faded, the mercury statue began to lose color, shifting from a shiny silver luster to a pale white, cracks appearing on its surface like tin pest, finally shattering into countless pieces.
Ange scooped up a piece of the shattered debris but before he could discern anything significant, the fragment continued to break down and was about to vanish. Reluctantly, he had to use Space Solidification to seal one of the pieces, stopping it from further fragmentation.
Negris and Anthony carefully approached, looking left and right, incredulously asking, “Ange, did you kill the Void Will or just scare it away?”
They were too far away to see clearly, thankfully the Chaos Mist had been cleared away; otherwise, they wouldn't have been able to discern the situation here.
The voice of the Abyssal Big Mouth arose, “How could it possibly be killed? This is merely one of its avatars. That's what I have been saying, we need to determine which one is its true form; even I don't know which one is its true form.”
“Yet it withstood an Ancient Godlight wave, and it's not even its true form? Where exactly is its true form? It got blasted apart, so why are you still hiding?” Negris inquired.
The Abyssal Big Mouth responded, “The New Dark Source is watching. Either you kill it, and once it's dead, I can come out.”
Now that the Chaos Mist had been dispersed and there was no cover left, the Abyssal Big Mouth dare not show itself easily. Being spotted by the New Dark Source and reported to the Void Will would spell trouble.
“Oh, Old Immortal.” Negris suddenly remembered the Monarch and turned to fly towards the direction of the Dark Energy Ball, but he wasn't far when Ange snatched him back.
“Boundary, behind.” Having said that, Ange took the lead and moved forward.
Negris and Anthony quickly followed, nearing a distance of one hundred thousand meters before Ange stopped.
The Monarch nodded in approval, for the distance at which Ange stopped was precisely the edge of the Absolute Dark Realm.
Negris peeked out from behind Ange and shouted, “Hey, Old Immortal, how are you holding up?”
“I'm fine, why are you here?” came the calm response from the Monarch.
“You're fine? Ange discovered that you had lost contact, so we came looking for you. If you're alright, then we'll be leaving now,” Negris remarked sarcastically.
The Monarch, long accustomed to his perverse humor, indifferently replied, “If you have the time, lending a hand wouldn't hurt; this guy's domain is a bit troublesome.”
“Hmph, still playing tough in these conditions. Where are Little Dark Source and Locke?” Negris asked.
“Little Dark Source?” It was a new name the Monarch hadn't heard before, but he knew immediately who it was referring to, pointing towards the center of the Dark Energy Ball, “Trapped inside, Locke has opened the Annihilation Boundary, neutralizing its domain, but I don't know how long Locke can hold out.”
“Locke is that powerful?” The Annihilation Boundary could actually neutralize the domain of the Primordial God, the Absolute Dark Realm?
Although Locke was merely the Lord of Mourning, among the creatures of the planes, he was among the top tier. Yet he was still several ranks below the Primordial God. Different levels of domain boundaries could actually neutralize one another–it was truly miraculous.
After expressing his amazement, Negris further inquired, “What should we do? Where is Locke exactly, and if we make a move, could we possibly harm him?”
The Monarch helplessly responded, “I don't know either, and I've been afraid of hurting him; I haven't been forceful. Think of something, if there really is no other way, we'll just have to go all out.”
Just after the Monarch spoke, Ange suddenly raised his right hand, stepped forward, and a Lightning Spear appeared in his hand, which he then forcefully threw.
The Lightning Spear was indeed a powerful attack among the planes, hitting Titans with precise accuracy. However, facing such a Dark Energy Ball, it resembled a wax lance thrusting against a red-hot iron plate and sizzled out instantly.
The New Dark Source, rather than stopping it, looked at Ange in astonishment, seemingly asking: What are you doing?
Yet Negris noticed something peculiar; normally a Lightning Spear would simply vanish with a 'whoosh,' but this time it left a 'trail,' a streak of light connecting with the spear as it struck the energy ball, only disappearing when the spear itself was consumed by the dark elements.
“What does that mean? An electric attack?” Negris murmured quietly.
The next moment, Ange raised his right hand again, this time not forming a Lightning Spear, but summoning a pitch-black spear, solid yet resonating with Dark Element Fluctuations–the Dark Elemental Spear.
