Chapter 1272: Chapter 835: Not Enough Energy Level? How About Now? Chapter 1272: Chapter 835: Not Enough Energy Level? How About Now? Abyssal Big Mouth certainly knew what 'matter' Anthony was talking about, and said somewhat dejectedly, “If you're seeking me out in this way, you must realize the task has failed too. The Undead Ruler and the Dark Origin have been trapped by 'Dark Origin.'”
On the second mention of Dark Origin, Abyssal Big Mouth emphasized the tone to highlight the difference between the two Dark Origins.
Ange, who had just experienced the invasion of his consciousness, immediately understood, “Are you saying that the original Dark Origin has not died? But the consciousness no longer belongs to the once Dark Origin and has instead turned around and trapped the Undead Ruler and the Dark Origin?”
“Almost that. However, the Dark Origin has indeed died, and the current Dark Origin is a completely new Dark Origin, created by shattering and remolding the original Dark Origin's power. So the Dark Origin's last resort had no effect at all; instead, it plunged the Undead Ruler and itself into the trap,” Abyssal Big Mouth explained.
“The original Dark Orig… oh my, so many Dark Origins, it's really confusing. How about this: we call the original Dark Origin the Old Dark Source, the reconstituted one the New Dark Source, and the one resurrected by Ange with memories of the Dark Origin, call it Little Dark Source.”
Negris was dizzy from the numerous Dark Origins and simply decided to give them new names.
Seeing everyone accepted the new names, Negris then said, “So the Old Dark Source was killed and remade into the New Dark Source, but its consciousness was extracted by Ange, revived as the Little Dark Source, and now both Little Dark Source and Old Immortal have been trapped by the New Dark Source, is that right?”
This made it much easier to understand, and Abyssal Big Mouth nodded.
“Alright then, where are they trapped? Is there any way we can save them? How did you manage to leave?” Negris asked in rapid succession.
However, Abyssal Big Mouth did not directly answer, but countered, “Even the Undead Ruler has fallen into the hands of the Void Will. What's the point of asking these questions? Even if there's a way to rescue them, are you able to do it? It's not as simple as when you tricked me before, where subterfuge would suffice.”
Negris was taken aback, “What do you mean? What trickery? Are you saying you were defeated unfairly? How would I know without you telling me…”
Anthony, interrupting Negris with a smile, said, “Lord Abyss wants to see our true strength.”
Some things are innate, and no matter if one lives for a hundred thousand years, in comprehending the human heart, Negris could live another million years, until the Void collapses, and he still wouldn't match up to the thousand-year Godman Anthony.
Anthony immediately understood what Abyssal Big Mouth meant. From the moment the Starfire struck, and they forced it out into the Mist Zone and tacitly halted, it showed that Abyssal Big Mouth had the desire to communicate with them.
But for Abyssal Big Mouth, it wanted to know if there was still a need to proceed. With even the Undead Ruler in enemy hands, what right did these minor characters have to oppose the Void Will?
If it backed off now, even if the Void Will had suspicions, without concrete evidence, there would be no falling out.
But if it continued, and it ended up captured due to the weakness of Ange and his group, it would be better off just going back to sleep. Being dragged down by incompetent allies was the most frustrating way to die in the entire Void.
Anthony whispered a few words with Ange, and Ange nodded.
After Anthony stepped aside, Ange pulled out a piece of Black Stone the size of a fingertip.
Negris was shocked, “Kvada, how can you still have this thing hidden? Aren't you afraid of being contaminated by it? Where did you hide it?”
Ange replied, “Freshness-preserving Divine Area, it's safe, insulated.”
Ange showcased the Black Stone for a moment, and its surface was coated with a layer of resin that was still soft and slightly sticky. When rolled on the ground, it could even pick up a layer of dust. It truly wasn't afraid of the Black Stone shedding any dust.
“Hey, where did you get this glue? This method isn't bad, but that's not the Freshness-preserving Divine Area, it's the War and Peace Divine Area. It's not meant to keep things fresh,” Negris said irritably.
“Freshness,” Ange insisted, then gave Negris a light poke, sending him flying hundreds of meters away.
Anthony immediately retreated hundreds of meters to Negris's side, with the Ancient Black Stone already in his hand. Could it be that he was planning to summon Tom and Lorca to ignite the Black Stone?
However, to everyone's surprise, Ange merely placed the Black Stone casually in his palm, then clasped his ten fingers together, pressing inward.
The great strength stretched out on Ange's hands, discarding all external matter and revealing two pitch-black hand bones. On the bones, small dots began to swirl faster and faster.
The palm shone instantly, emitting a blindingly bright light that pierced through the gaps between the bones.
Everyone was stunned. Negris, in particular, was shocked and thought to himself in panic, Not good, is Dead Skull actually rubbing the Black Stone barehanded?! Has he gone mad? Wasn't it said that igniting it momentarily reaches ten million degrees?
Forget ten million degrees, even ten thousand degrees was a temperature hard to imagine. Could Ange's Black Crystal Body withstand that temperature?
But it could only shout in its heart because, the moment it opened its mouth, it found that space had solidified.
One… two… three… On the seventh second, Ange pushed forward with both hands, and an indescribable column of terrifying energy was propelled from his hands, grazing past the Abyssal Big Mouth mere meters away.
The terrible heat radiated outwards, half of the Abyssal Big Mouth's body was singed to nothing, while the remaining half clumsily flapped a remaining piece of its black wing, bewildered.
The energy column blasted a straight path through the Chaos Mist, evaporating all of the mist wherever it passed without a trace.
After standing in a daze for a while, the Abyssal Big Mouth finally managed to open its mouth with difficulty and asked, “What kind of power is this?”
Ange scratched his head and replied, “Haven't named it.”
The voice of the Abyssal Big Mouth became even more bitter: “Something you've just mastered?”
Ange nodded and then turned back to ask, “What should it be called?”
Before Negris could respond, the Abyssal Big Mouth couldn't help but suggest, “How about calling it the Ancient Light Wave, since that was a strand of the original Ancient Godlight?”
“No, too lacking in impact,” Negris flew over. “With such a powerful move, it definitely needs a cool name. For now, let's just call it: Super Invincible Void Endless Billion Degree Blazing Dazzling… (omitting fifty words still not thought of) Ancient Godlight Wave, and let Luther come up with the final name.”
The Abyssal Big Mouth was flabbergasted yet deeply approved, “Indeed cool, let's call it that. But as strong as it is, the energy level isn't high enough. If it were my true form, even with a hit like that, it wouldn't make a peep.”
Ange scratched his head, not enough energy level? So he took out a watermelon-sized Black Stone, would this be enough?
What was just the size of a fingertip, he now pulled out something the size of a watermelon. Just as he prepared to fire another shot, the Abyssal Big Mouth stopped him, “Enough, enough, the energy level is sufficient now. It's as if you've dug up the grave of the Ancient Godlight.”
