Chapter 1163: Chapter 727: In the Name of the Undead, Holy Light Illumination Upon the Land Chapter 1163: Chapter 727: In the Name of the Undead, Holy Light Illumination Upon the Land Although the Earth Hammer rarely had the chance to make an appearance, when it came to trash-talking, it was second to none compared to Lightning, which was simply foul-mouthed. The Earth Hammer was both foul and piercing.
However, such excitement was rare for it; it only got this excited when it was reluctant to work, but it was useless. If it didn't want to smash stones, Little Angel would take it to trim for the Big Round Devil.
Negris quickly asked, “Is the heart of the Lord of the Earth Demon useful to you?”
“Of course it's useful. I smash its heart and gain its Power of Earth. Wow, why are there so many demons here? Did you fall into a demon pit? Smash them, smash them all!” the Earth Hammer shouted loudly.
Pink Hem instinctively shrank behind Anthony and whispered, “What kind of hammer is this? A Demon's Hammer? It's so fierce.”
While they were talking, Giraldo launched an attack, his eyes bulging intensely.
Little Angel sensed something and suddenly shot into the air. True Wings unfolded, and Light Wings propelled her like a rocket into the sky.
Almost simultaneously, the ground where she had stood exploded, sending numerous fragments shooting into the air like a fountain, creating a deep pit.
Ange straightened his back and stared thoughtfully at the pit.
Seeing this, Pink Hem hurriedly said, “Impressive, right? The Earthquake Blast of the Lord of the Earth Demon can turn all Earth Elements into fierce explosives. If it doesn't kill, it will exhaust to death.”
Anthony, caught between laughter and tears, explained, “My lord doesn't think it's impressive. He just thinks it would be convenient for digging holes for planting.”
Ange nodded, “Trees.”
Planting trees was convenient; his Spirit Touch made planting tree saplings easy, with a simple poke and pull, but that only worked for saplings. Transplanting large trees required digging a big hole first.
Pink Hem looked at Ange and then at Anthony, feeling exasperated. “My lord, I was saying the Earthquake Blast is impressive, and you're talking about planting trees? Can't we have a proper conversation for once!”
The shattered stones that shot towards the sky exploded again near Little Angel, like exploding fireballs, and the even smaller fragments splattered against Little Angel, pattering upon her.
Each stone collision released translucent holy patterns, and as more stones hit, the holy patterns on Little Angel became clearer, covering her like a suit of armor–the Great Angel Sacred Armor.
“Eh, when could Little Angel form Sacred Armor? I've never seen her use it before,” Negris exclaimed in surprise.
“She has been able to for a while now. Four-Winged Angels of the third rank and above can form Sacred Armor; it's just that it wasn't necessary before,” Anthony explained.
“That's true.” Thinking of Little Angel's tendency to start with Holy Light Flash, indeed, close-combat Angel Holy Armor wasn't necessary.
After speaking, Negris turned his head to look around and said, “The Devil King is here; these Demon Soldiers have grown bold, daring to surround us.”
The surrounding Demon Soldiers, uncertain and cautious, came forward carrying weapons, but not daring to get too close.
Pink Hem volunteered eagerly, “My lord, let me handle them.”
“No need, no need. You too are a Demon Lord, and it's not good to act against another power. We can handle it ourselves,” Anthony quickly refused.
This Enchanting Demon was gazing at him with watery eyes, and Anthony understood exactly what she was hoping for; he dared not owe her any favors.
With a fictive grip in front of him, his empty hands caused the ground to tremble, and a Pope Wand slowly materialized in his grasp.
Anthony's eyes radiated golden light, and a majestic voice rose from his lips, “Ancient blood is your sin, countless resentful souls, in the name of the Undead God, I ignite the tower of Holy Light to illuminate the path to the other shore, guiding your way forward. Come, gather around me, resentful souls…”
As Anthony spoke, the ground began to tremble lightly, and his solemn, sacred face involuntarily revealed a hint of surprise.
Even more surprised was Negris, “What are you shouting about? Undead and Holy Light, can these two mix together? Don't get yourself burned in the process.”
Anthony responded, “I am both the Pope of Light and the Undead High Priest. Is there a problem? By the way, Pink Hem, how do you deal with those bodies after your blood sacrifices?”
Why suddenly ask this? Pink Hem hesitantly said, “We didn't… didn't really deal with them, just threw them aside.”
“Hehe, you've thrown away quite a bit over the millennia. Let me show you the revenge of the undead and the disaster of the undead, Little Zombie, protect me.” Anthony called out.
“Ow!” When it was idle, Little Zombie was always watching Little Angel, ready to support at any moment. Now that Anthony called him to action, Little Zombie turned its head and with a cry, dashed towards the nearest demon–Earth Charge.
It was like being hit by a wild ox, the closest Demon Soldier screamed and flew into the sky, and Little Zombie, without stopping, continued to charge towards the demons behind, his Soul Armor thickening incessantly.
Negris was astonished, “How come it's faster now? Is this still a Necromancer? It won't evolve into something with Feiti's speed, will it?”
Soon, Little Zombie plowed through the nearby streets, incidentally smashing the prison carts too, releasing the captured elves and humans.
The liberated human elves looked at each other, at a loss, and finally with a shout, they scattered and fled.
Only the thin human female slave from the opposite stall staggered towards Ange and the others.
Negris and Pink Hem looked at her. The human female slave hurriedly stood still, bowed respectfully, and then continued to run to a spot not far behind everyone, gasping heavily.
Negris curiously asked, “Why aren't you running? Why stay here?”
The human female slave, panting, replied, “I don't know where to go, something seems off. You are good people, I beg for your protection, my Lord.”
“Oh? Why do you feel something is off?” Negris asked.
The human female slave said, “When my mother was captured, she said that young humans and elves are treasures to the demons, that demons wouldn't hurt us casually. They are capturing us now; I feel something bad has happened.”
“Your mother was captured?” Negris's heart skipped, a bad suspicion arising, turning his head towards Pink Hem.
With an awkward chuckle, Pink Hem said, “The blood sacrifice prefers to choose older individuals for the offering.”
Suddenly, Negris felt a rage, although normally it wouldn't. Now part of the undead faction, death was no demise but a new beginning; not a big deal.
Its perception of death had long changed, so it lacked empathy, but when it heard the human female slave say in the calmest tone “my mother was captured,” it couldn't help but feel angry. Killing people is one thing, but what's this about capturing someone's mother?
“Resentful souls, awaken, cleanse this filthy world, let the Holy Light illuminate the earth, in the name of the Undead God, grant you eternal life!” Anthony lifted the Pope Wand and struck it heavily on the ground.
Flames dramatically erupted around Ange, the Divine Status of the Undead God manifested, and the two incarnations of the Undead God appeared, slightly hunched as if bearing some great pressure.
