Chapter 1054: Chapter 620 My Field…Trouble Chapter 1054: Chapter 620 My Field…Trouble Although the image was a mere phantom, the oppressive feeling was very real; everyone subconsciously ducked their heads as if the enormous shadow was truly glaring at them.
Negris gave a forced laugh and said, “Really scary, just like when I was a kid, peeing in the Clan Leader's nest, getting caught was terrifying.”
“Yes, yes, so scary, but why would you pee in someone else's nest?” Feiti asked, puzzled.
Negris's face turned red, “That's none of your business.”
Anthony, however, knew a bit about the habits of giant dragons and said, “This is one way that giant dragons mark their territory.”
“Oh~” Everyone suddenly understood.
Negris did not deny it because it was true. When giant dragons were young, they did many foolish things. Everyone knew the embarrassing story of Negris being tricked by a goblin merchant and spitting for fifty years, so he quickly changed the subject, “Does the Old Immortal look like this? It erased my memory, and I can't remember what it looks like.”
“No, Your Majesty doesn't look like this, there's a big change. Is this really Your Majesty?” Feiti said hesitantly.
Anthony said, “I don't know about that. This image is carved from Drosa's memory. They call this figure the Undead Ruler, who appeared there more than eight hundred years ago, killed quite a few of Drosa's folks, and then took over the place.”
“Drosa 'these' folks? Are there many of them?” Negris asked.
“Not many, just a few dozen,” said Anthony, reciting three syllables as Ange had taught him.
This was clearly a language, but even Negris had never heard it and had no idea what the three syllables meant.
Ange suddenly said, “Spirit of Chaos.”
Negris jumped in shock, “Mourning Soul, Black Crystal Soul, Spirit of Chaos? Are these three sounds meant to say 'Spirit of Chaos'? How do you know?”
“It told me, it is, the Serpent of Misfortune, as well,” Ange said.
Negris took a sharp breath. The 'it' Ange mentioned was of course the Dragon God. Through bloodline inheritance, every time Ange transformed, he awakened many memories of the Dragon God. This 'it' didn't exist but was indeed present in the bloodline memories.
As his strength increased, Ange could awaken older and older memories. Therefore, now in the Dragon Clan, the one with the deepest bloodline inheritance was not Brooks, nor Negris, nor Diyali's father, but Ange.
As for the Spirit of Chaos, it was even more astonishing. Soul Fire, Soul Heart, Mourning Soul, Black Crystal Soul represented the souls of the undead in four states, from low to high.
The Black Crystal Soul and the Spirit of Chaos were of the same level of power, just different names and manifestations, resulting in different effects.
The soul of the Undead King was the Black Crystal Soul, meaning the Spirit of Chaos was of the same level as the Undead King.
However, what shocked Negris even more, were the Dragon God and the Serpent of Misfortune both Spirits of Chaos?
“The Dragon God and the Serpent of Misfortune are both Spirits of Chaos? Then their power must be weak; no wonder they were driven away by the monarch,” Feiti said dismissively.
He had seen Ange undergo the Dragon God Transformation, and the power was just so-so. Despite having many skills, his fighting strength might not surpass Locke's since Locke's transformation time was even shorter than the Dragon God Transformation.
Anthony said, “According to Drosa, what he projected wasn't his true form, so could it be that the Dragon God Transformations aren't their true forms either?”
Ange replied, “No.”
The real Dragon God had been manifested in the God of Light's Consciousness Space. It was a super giant dragon with a back as wide as a plaza; the anthropomorphic Dragon God that Ange transformed into was indeed just a projection.
No one had seen the real Dragon God, but they had heard Negris describe the Serpent of Misfortune. After some comparisons, they all had a deeper understanding of the Serpent of Misfortune.
“So, are all Spirits of Chaos terrifying beings that can swallow an entire plane in one bite?” Durken said, “Could Your Majesty really drive them all away?”
Anthony shrugged. “I don't know about that. I can tell that most of what Drosa says is true, but which part is true requires more evidence to confirm. I am not sure yet whether the Undead Ruler he speaks of is Your Majesty. Maybe it's just a coincidence.”
“But without a doubt, our connected world has encountered a super terrifying entity, capable of making Drosa and other Spirits of Chaos consider fleeing, a monstrous entity. Let's hope it's Your Majesty, otherwise, we're in big trouble.”
Negris asked, “Did Drosa mention what that place is called?”
“It's called the Chaos Plane, a nexus connecting all worlds and the place with the richest Chaotic Power. All Spirits of Chaos, no matter where they are born, must eventually come here; only the Chaotic Power here can make the Spirits of Chaos grow stronger,” Anthony explained.
Negris nodded in understanding, “It's like the giant beasts in the ocean that must live where fish and shrimp are most abundant. Only the food here can sustain them. If we think of the mist as fish and shrimp, does that mean the Old Immortal has taken over the place with the richest 'food'?”
“Besides the Undead Ruler, there are three other super Spirits of Chaos in the mist, and they are no less formidable than the Undead Ruler,” Anthony said.
“Hiss– No way, let me sort this out. The real constructor of the Starburst Array is Drosa, who manifested as the Evil God and projected his thoughts here, cultivated the Sorcerer Alliance, and built this Starburst Array, right?” Negris asked.
Anthony nodded.
“Then, he used thought-jumping to transmit his power here and launched it through the Starburst Array, blasting the gods of the Master Plane and the Star Burst Plane, correct?”
Anthony nodded again.
“But for someone like him, who merely projected his thoughts here and turned our two worlds upside down, it's surprising that he couldn't stay in the Chaos Plane and was driven out. The richest area of energy in the Chaos Plane was taken by Your Majesty, right?”
Anthony nodded, “Right.”
“In the end, are there three more individuals like His Majesty in the Chaos Plane who could drive away Drosa? Hiss–”
“Hiss–” A series of teeth-gritting sounds echoed around.
A small corner of the world of the true powerhouses was revealed…
The only consolation for everyone was that their King was also one of them, “His Majesty is truly incredible.”
After expressing their feelings, Negris asked, “So what's the deal with the seeds of the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms?”
“According to Drosa, if the Divine Tree of Ten Thousand Realms is grown, it could dominate the Chaos Plane, and His Majesty has been trying to grow it. However, there are still three individuals in the mist causing trouble for His Majesty, destroying many sprouts of the Divine Tree, so it has never been successfully grown,” Anthony explained.
Destroying sprouts? Ange narrowed his eyes and straightened his back.
Negris quickly hugged him, “Don't get excited, don't get excited, it's not your sprouts that were destroyed. That place is too far away, and you can't help. Your King will handle it himself, don't get excited.”
After speaking, he even glared at Anthony, who had carelessly mentioned 'destroying sprouts', a phrase that shouldn't have been used in front of Ange.
Anthony, realizing his mistake, shrank his neck and sheepishly said, “Drosa also mentioned another thing, our worlds are actually interconnected. One can fly from the Void to another world, but the Void is so vast that no one knows where the other world is. If one gets lost in the Void, they might never reach the other world.”
“Even chaotic spirits like them don't dare to go from the Void to another world, but he saw a kind of Thunder Element creature sneakily slipping through the Chaos Plane to another place. Guess what creature it was?”
Perplexed, Negris said, “Thunder Element creature? Let us guess? Is it the Giant Star Thunderclap that we know?
The transformed squirrel, Thunderclap, might have heard its name, poking its head out from a pile of Elf Beans from a distance, cheeks bulging, stuffed with who knows how many Elf Beans.
Anthony nearly toppled over: “Thunderclap is just 'one'; how could it be a 'type'? Of course not.”
Negris smirked, “Just kidding, I obviously know. You mean Titans, right? You're saying Titans once went to the Chaos Plane and then circled around to another place?”
Associating this with the recent return of Thunderclap to the Master Plane, could it be that the place Titans circled around to was the Master Plane?
“Right, it is the Titans. By the way, where have these Titans gone? Since we caught Kronos, they've disappeared. Could it be that they ran back?” Anthony wondered.
“Probably not, they have to drift in the Void for hundreds of years to make one trip. Maybe they were scared. Just after Kronos landed, he was captured; unclear about the reality of the Master Plane, I reckon they wouldn't dare to land,” Negris reasoned.
“Indeed, I wouldn't go in either. It's better to find an Abyss Dimension like the Dragon Clan than to run back,” Anthony added.
“That won't work, they are Element Creatures; unless they can find a Plane rich in Thunder Elements, they will eventually die of elemental decay,” Negris replied.
So that was it. If they can't find a Plane rich in Thunder Elements, then they only have the Master Plane to return to, where all kinds of elements exist, unlike the extremes of the Abyss Dimension.
Just then, Ange tilted his head as if listening to something.
Everyone was used to this kind of behavior by now; no need to wonder, someone must be calling for help again.
When Ange came back to his senses, Negris immediately asked, “Who is calling for help again?”
“Harvey,” Ange replied.
Hearing that name, everyone tensed up.
Although Harvey's power was inferior to old-timers like Feiti and Locke, he was certainly no novice. What could have happened to make him call for help?
Ange, somewhat bewildered, repeated, “Thunderclap, descent.” He clearly didn't quite understand what these two words combined meant.
The others were also clueless until the God of Life perched on his shoulder suddenly stood up, blurting out, “Not good, it's the Thunder Element transitioning through the atmosphere, sublime all the elements, my forest is in trouble, I need to go back.”
After speaking, his leaves quickly withered, and he lightly floated off Ange's shoulder.
This urgency was new; the God of Life had always been slow-spoken, even regarding his remaining lifespan of just over nine thousand years.
However, now he didn't even say another word before running off, indicating just how dire the situation was.
Negris was stunned for a moment, then, suddenly realizing something, said, “If the old tree's forest is in trouble, perhaps your field is even more at risk, Ange. Your field is far less resilient than the forest–”
At the mention of his field, Ange froze, his thoughts racing back toward his true body, left with only one thought in his soul, “My field… is in trouble!”
