Chapter 1052: Chapter 618: Please, Stop Planting Chapter 1052: Chapter 618: Please, Stop Planting Ange snapped back to reality and found everyone anxiously gathered around him, calling his name urgently. Negris even had his claw raised, ready to physically wake him up, but Little Angel and Little Zombie were dragging him out by the head and tail respectively.
“My Lord, what happened to you? What's wrong?” Anthony asked urgently.
Ange tilted his head, seemingly catching up with the situation, but still felt a bit disheartened and murmured, “Turus, burned my fields.”
“Turus is dead, Turus is dead. Don't call every demon Turus, you Dead Skull. Help me, I'm going to be strangled.” Negris shouted from the outskirts.
Ange glared at the two little ones, and they finally let go of Little Fat Dragon with giggles.
Negris flew back in a huff, “Where did you see a demon again? You were zoning out, not waking up no matter who called you. We thought you went back to the Master Plane.”
Ange said, “Drosa, Turus, angry, chop him.”
Negris was stunned for a moment, “You mean Drosa turned into a demon? And you chopped him?”
Locke couldn't help but say, “Could it be that Drosa activated 'Nagging', trying to tempt you?”
Anthony immediately realized, “Drosa suddenly disappeared, was it to tempt the Lord?”
“You chopped him? Did you kill him? Are you alright? Let me check.” Negris rummaged through Ange's vital points, and after seeing no injuries, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Locke said, “It's impossible to hit him. Drosa's 'Nagging' is kind of a Consciousness Space thing. According to Balu back in the day, it pulls you into a strange space, manifesting your favorite things. In the Consciousness Space, both parties are just consciousnesses, and can't physically touch each other.”
Ange scratched his head, summoned his Death Scythe, pinched the blade between his finger and thumb, and flicked it, producing a small wisp of smoke that he weighed on his fingertip.
Everyone leaned in, and after looking for a while, Negris asked, “There's a scent of Drosa. You didn't chop this off him in the Consciousness Space, did you?”
Ange nodded.
Negris turned to Locke, “Didn't you say it was impossible to hit in the Consciousness Space?”
Locke defended himself, “How should I know? I'm not Balu. Drosa never dares to appear in front of me. I just glare and he's obliterated.”
Negris snorted and turned to Ange, “Did you kill him? Is this Drosa an idiot? What was he trying to tempt you with? Did he set up a bunch of beauties from various tribes?”
Ange brightened up at this, “Fields, lots of them, mountains, rivers, fields, fields, fields, fields, lake, fields, fields, fields…” He described while gesturing with his hands.
The others imagined the scene and couldn't help but burst into laughter.
Negris laughed even harder, “He manifested a bunch of fields to tempt you, even took on a demon's appearance, and you thought he was Turus and chopped him? Hahaha, he probably didn't know demons shouldn't appear in your fields.”
Ange nodded, then sadly said, “My fields, all gone.”
“Gone is gone, they were all just manifestations. This Drosa couldn't really be a demon, could he? Being able to pull you into the Consciousness Space and even manifest your desires, that's not something a demon can do. Plus, he mentioned the Old Immortal, called him the Undead Ruler, even took away the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms? And beat them up?”
As he said 'them', Negris emphasized the word.
Everyone felt secretly thrilled that the king had not only survived but had given them a beating. Hearing Drosa's tone, it seemed he was not planning on revenge, probably because the power difference was too great.
Anthony scratched his head in frustration, “Too little information, can't analyze anything, but it's certain he's seen Your Majesty. Everything else is uncertain, not sure if he's telling the truth or just leading us on.”
After analyzing for a long time, due to too little information, they couldn't figure anything out and could only disperse in disappointment, leaving only Ange muttering sadly, “My fields, gone…”
Thinking it over, he brought out Wuga and applied a bit of the smoke he had plucked into Wuga's soul.
“Wuga?” Wuga looked at him blankly.
“Wuga, Wuga, Wuga,” Ange gestured, teaching Wuga to assimilate the smoke. Soon Wuga's soul began spinning, looking like he was about to faint.
Meanwhile, Locke, who was also holding his Death Scythe and gesturing in frustration, heard the noise and turned his head, “Eh? Wuga? What are you doing here?”
“Wuga!” Old acquaintances greeted each other.
Drosa returned to his hiding spot, growing more and more furious. The little energy he had painstakingly saved up had not only inexplicably disappeared, but he had also been slashed.
No, he had to find a way to get it back, especially the God Status. Gaining that God Status meant gaining a foothold in the Other World, which would make everything, whether fleeing or whatever else, much more convenient.
Here, he could only hide day to day, living in the shadow of the Undead Ruler.
The guy who used a scythe just like the Undead Ruler might be the same kind of creature as the Undead Ruler. Figuring out his weakness, Drosa planned to come back and deal with the Undead Ruler.
Let him farm if he likes farming. Let him plant, and see what he can grow.
Drosa quietly crawled out and, seeing the mist outside, carefully reached out and grabbed a handful.
The Mist Zone had already been occupied by the Undead Ruler. At the outskirts, the mist was very thin. Drosa grabbed a little bit, saved it, then grabbed another little bit and saved that too.
Just like this, he stealthily and laboriously saved up energy for half the day, enough to project again. Those energies sufficient to trigger a Starburst had been saved up bit by bit over a long time.
If it was just a thought-projection, not much power was needed. After saving up enough, Drosa hid back in his hiding place, activated the prohibition, and sealed the entrance.
The Undead Ruler wouldn't carelessly come to such a fringe area. Drosa was guarding against those who were hiding like him.
Each one was beaten to a point where they couldn't take care of themselves but didn't dare cause trouble for the Undead Ruler. Instead, they fought amongst themselves, targeting those who were equally miserable. It was so annoying.
Just as he was preparing to project himself there, Drosa suddenly remembered something. He quickly went to the corner and found a seed there: “You like farming, right? I'll directly give you the seed of the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms. Let's see if you can plant it, hehe, this will exhaust you.”
Everyone else had dispersed to manage the Starburst Array, leaving only Ange and a few others idly panicking. Ange, out of boredom, reached into the Dimensional Space, but felt somewhat listless. After seeing those rationally planned lands in the Consciousness Space, the land in the Dimensional Space seemed too limited.
So, when the soul again echoed with “What do you most desire?”, Ange immediately projected his thought there.
The familiar boundless farmland appeared before Ange again, only this time Drosa was not in the form of a Demon but had become a Kobold.
Seeing him like this, Ange couldn't help but tilt his head.
The Kobold that Drosa had become chuckled awkwardly, “You seem to dislike the Demon, what about this? Is this okay? If you're not satisfied, I can change again, even into a female if you prefer.” After saying this, he winked.
“…” Ange looked utterly baffled.
“Okay, you don't like the female form. Well, it's progress that you didn't chop me right away. So, can we talk now?”
Ange tilted his head.
Drosa felt like he was going to explode with frustration. Why was this guy so hard to communicate with? What did tilting the head mean? Yes or no? As though you had agreed.
“The God Status, the one you brought out. Can we trade it? I have some very precious things to exchange, hey, hey, where are you going?”
“Why are you digging the soil? You want to farm?”
“Okay, okay, go ahead and plant. We can talk after you're done planting.”
“You've finished this plot, now you're starting on that one? You want to plant more? You're not planning to plant the entire place, are you?”
“Okay, okay, go ahead and plant. We can talk after you're done planting.”
“Kvada, you have already planted everything once, and now you're harvesting and planting again? Are you breeding? Kvada, are you trying to breed?”
“You cross hybrids to develop a new species, then cross the new species again, develop another new species, even picking the mutants for crossbreeding. You have manifested so many seeds, you're not planning to cultivate all of them, are you?
“Please, stop planting. Aren't you tired? How many more times do you want to play?”
