Chapter 1761: All Parties Appear, Several Familiar Faces (Part 2)
Seeing this, Jiang Chengxuan and the Cloudmist Immortal Sect's Grand Elders naturally dared not hesitate. They immediately followed and stepped into the gate.
This was also Jiang Chengxuan's first time experiencing treatment worthy of a Golden Immortal.
“Rumble—!”
The instant he stepped in, Jiang Chengxuan felt an invisible force pushing the world itself, a thunderous roar echoing in the void.
Under a pulling sensation, both his physical body and primordial spirit felt stretched, as if being drawn into a black hole—as if the entire universe was collapsing.
He kept falling, falling, as though plunging into the unknown. But just then, the power of Elder Yunshi spread out, guiding Jiang Chengxuan's direction at the critical moment.
In a flash, dazzling immortal light illuminated the world, and all the profoundness and mystery were finally peeled away.
When Jiang Chengxuan regained his senses, he found the world before him had opened up dramatically—
A realm of astonishing height and vastness unfolded before him.
The sky here was even higher and broader than that of the Ancient Realm. As far as the eye could see, the ground stretched endlessly without obstruction, a limitless plain.
Only in the farthest distance did a strange mist gather, like a suspended star hanging at the center of heaven and earth.
It blocked all senses and spiritual probes, rolling and churning with an aura of boundless mystery and awe.
Just one glance was enough to tell this world was tightly bound to the term “ancient.”
Only ancient forces could inspire such primal reverence.
“Buzz—!”
The next moment, before anyone could react, Elder Yunshi waved his hand again.
Instantly, space distorted—everything around seemed to collapse inward.
Jiang Chengxuan felt a sudden blur in front of his eyes and blinked in surprise, realizing that they had already teleported a great distance.
Now, they stood very close to that strange, cloud-like star.
That vast, horizon-spanning existence dominated their view, its drifting mist visible in every delicate swirl.
“Hmph! Yun Zhuang, so you did bring someone with you after all.”
Just as Jiang Chengxuan and the others landed, a cold, scornful voice echoed across the heavens from another direction.
Upon hearing this, everyone turned with grim expressions.
There was no doubt—the voice belonged to another Golden Immortal faction.
“Even an old demon like you brought your little devils along. You think I'd fall behind?”
Without turning his head, Elder Yunshi snorted in reply, clearly having anticipated someone else's presence.
Then Jiang Chengxuan finally saw the source of the voice—and with it, several “old acquaintances.”
In this ancient realm, there was only one figure Elder Yunshi would call an “old demon”—
It was none other than the infamous demonic patriarch of the Bloodfiend Sect from the White Eagle Domain: the Golden Immortal, Bloodfiend Demon Immortal!
Naturally, surrounding him were the sect's Three Great Demonic Elders: Beasthide Demon Lord, Ten-Thousand-Ghost Demon Lord, and Madblade Demon Lord.
Jiang Chengxuan had a deep history with these figures. Back when he invaded the Bloodfiend Realm to rescue Yun Nanfeng's parents, he had slain several Bloodfiend Sect elders.
In retaliation, the Three Demon Lords had joined forces to hunt him and Yun Nanfeng's family down.
That battle had drawn countless demonic immortals and shaken the heavens—but ultimately, Jiang Chengxuan had broken through their siege by unleashing the terrifying might of the Ruined Arhat Scroll.
It was a massive humiliation for the Bloodfiend Sect.
Since then, they had scoured the nearby realms trying to find Jiang Chengxuan, but he had vanished without a trace—like a stone sinking into the sea.
“It's him! He ruined our Bloodfiend Sect's grand plan!”
“That brat dares to show his face in front of us again?!”
“Courting death!”
At this moment, seeing Jiang Chengxuan again, the Three Demon Lords' expressions twisted in fury, their eyes bloodshot.
Their demonic aura surged uncontrollably, and they looked at Jiang Chengxuan with raw, murderous hatred.
“So it was you? Hmph! Little fiend!”
Their reaction naturally caught the Bloodfiend Demon Immortal's attention, who already knew of the past incident.
In an instant, he activated his power. An overwhelming pressure erupted from him as boundless immortal force surged, opening a vast galactic vista in the skies.
The Golden Immortal's pressure locked onto Jiang Chengxuan in the blink of an eye. The sheer power froze the space around him, leaving Jiang momentarily breathless.
The next moment, the Bloodfiend Demon Immortal struck.
Golden Immortal power crashed down from the heavens like the end of the world.
Jiang Chengxuan's eyes sharpened, blood surging backward. He was just about to summon the Ruined Arhat Scroll to unleash his strongest counterattack—
“Mad demon, restrain yourself! I'm not afraid of you!”
But before Jiang could act, Elder Yunshi had already stepped forward and struck.
His aura exploded, and his own Golden Immortal might swallowed the surrounding sky.
In the heavens, cosmic phenomena appeared—stars flickering, galaxies flowing, heavenly light flashing in and out of existence.
To counter the Bloodfiend Demon Immortal's attack, he waved his hand, summoning a cascading silver river that painted the sky purple with roaring flames.
“Boom!!!”
The two terrifying powers collided violently, shaking the world.
The realm trembled, caught in a storm of blinding light and unbearable heat.
“Ugh—!”
Even Grand Elders like Yun Tian and Yun Di were forced back by the aftermath, retreating through the void.
Only Jiang Chengxuan, bracing against the sweeping energy, stood firm, his gaze heavy.
“You plotted against my Cloudmist Sect and now act like we're in the wrong? You think I won't retaliate?!”
Within the chaotic currents, Elder Yunshi suddenly roared, growing more relentless.
Golden Immortal power surged again as he charged at the Bloodfiend Demon Immortal.
“Hmph!”
“RUMBLE!!”
The Bloodfiend Demon Immortal merely snorted. Knowing he had no justification, he didn't respond—but neither did he hold back.
He released a faint, persistent force that kept trying to lock onto Jiang Chengxuan.
Clearly, while he knew he had no ground to stand on, he had no intention of playing fair.
In moments, the clash between the two Golden Immortals turned the realm upside down.
Though the sky was vast and boundless, it couldn't contain the tempest these two stirred.
“Buzz—!”
Their battle didn't stop until the cloud-like star at the center of heaven and earth let out a strange, resonant hum.
A mighty, ancient Golden Immortal pressure swept through the void, tearing through the chaos and forcibly separating the two.
“Hmph!”
Even after being pulled apart, Elder Yunshi and the Bloodfiend Demon Immortal continued to glare at each other from across the battlefield, neither backing down.
Their feud was long-standing. Clashing like this was practically routine for them—they had never seen eye to eye.
“You two again? Can't we have half a day's peace?”
Just then, a new voice rang out from the distant horizon, stern and commanding.
A ray of heavenly light cut through the chaotic remnants of the clash, turning into a radiant path of light that reached the center of the battlefield.
“Another one's arrived!”
Jiang Chengxuan whispered inwardly as another wave of Golden Immortal pressure spread across the battlefield.
It cut between Elder Yunshi and the Bloodfiend Demon Immortal, as if intentionally halting their fight.
“Stay out of this!”
“You old man Li—don't you see it's always him starting trouble?!”
Both Elder Yunshi and the Bloodfiend Demon Immortal shouted in irritation, clearly unwilling to yield—but they did retract their auras, wary of the newcomer.
The figure that emerged was an elderly man with white hair cascading down, his posture straight as a sword. His starry eyes and sharp brows exuded piercing intensity—like a predator ready to strike.
