The whole Holy See appeared to be in a great mess.

"Is this because of that dice?"

"A second disaster?!" He muttered out loud and looked up at the sky with wide eyes.

At that moment, a reddish star appeared in his sight.

"A meteorite!" He shouted in surprise.

The next instant, Charles didn't hesitate for a moment before he turned around, flapped his black wings, and shot towards the eastern direction at an unimaginable speed.

In the meantime, Pope continued to chant for a few more seconds, suddenly opened his eyes, gripped the golden crozier with both hands, and shot towards the reddish meteorite.

He aimed to destroy the meteorite before it could reach the surface!

Pope continued to fly upward and soon felt a burning sensation as he got closer.

At that moment, the reddish meteorite started to get larger and larger and lightened up in crimson color while entering Faith Realm's atmosphere.

'I can't back down now. If I let this meteorite fall in Holy See, the whole kingdom or even the whole mainland might get affected by it.' Just as he was thinking, he noticed that the meteorite was enlarging in size quickly.

Before long, a meteorite that had the size of a football field appeared in front of him!

At that moment, it traveled at a speed of 60km/sec and could obliterate the Light Kingdom within seconds!

As long as it lands on the surface, it could also cause more than 7.0 to 8.0 magnitude earthquakes and create more destruction all over the surrounding kingdoms!

This newly appeared meteorite was nothing but pure calamity in front of Pope's eyes.

He instantly released his full divine power, pointed the crozier's tip at the meteorite, and moved forward.

Before Pope could even utter a cry, his body bent at a weird angle due to the meteorite's speed and was pushed back.

"Argh!" He screamed out loud in pain and struggled to push forward, only to see that the meteorite was forcing him backward at an unthinkable speed!

The next moment, he tossed from the sky like a ball and fell like a shooting star.

Although the earlier collision managed to lessen the meteorite's speed, it still wasn't enough to stop or even destroy a part of the meteorite.

Pope fell from the sky continuously while staring blankly at the monstrous meteorite and soon cast [Divine Wings] spell to regain the balance. Currently, he appeared more like a man who walked out of the firehouse, had multiple severe injuries, and even his left hand was nowhere to be seen!

Moreover, a strange foreign power crept over his skin and had already infected him stealthily.

"W-What is this?!" He groaned in pain and glanced at the greenish smoke-covered right hand.

Noticing the seriousness, he gathered every ounce of divine power from the surrounding air and even started burning the 'Divinity Core' that resided inside the deepest part of his soul.

The mysterious divine power then gathered above his head in the form of an invisible spear the next second and showed its tip at the descending meteorite.

"Pillar of Judgement." Pope roared wildly and flew towards the upcoming red meteorite once again.

Another collision echoed in the sky, followed by another wave of shockwaves. But this time, the invisible spear managed to stop the meteorite for a mere second and reduced its movement speed to a considerable level.

At that moment, its movement speed was reduced to 20 km/sec from 60 km/sec!

"I can destroy it!" Hope appeared in Pope's eyes.

But soon realized that the meteorite was descending continuously and soon damaged the invisible spear.

Before he could blink, the powerful invisible spear broke into millions of pieces and disappeared from his sight.

The next moment, the meteorite directly slammed onto his body and burned him fiercely in a reddish flame.

At that moment, a strange greenish gas-like thing also entered deep into his body and weakened him.

A strange sense of dizziness appeared in his mind.

Simultaneously, he felt that his memories disappeared one by one due to some unknown factors and stiffened up.

'Something is attacking my mind?' That was the last thought that appeared in his mind.

Before he could understand the situation, a strange force appeared from the dream world and directly devoured his soul along with Truth and Light Divinites hidden in his body!

Pope died without knowing how.
