Gu Hua entered the house with a bunch of herbs and some modern medicine in her hands, which she has kept in her personal space this whole time .

"Sister" following that innocent voice a tiny figure crashed into her .

Gu Hua didn't see this coming and obviously was not prepared to face this little guy's show of affection . So Gu Hua swayed a bit and some of the herbs fell on the ground .

Gu Hua's first reaction was to cover the little guy's head with her hands .

"Ming, you careless little brat . "Gu Hua rebuked him lightly .

But, the boy was not in a state to pout on her words . He was extremely happy on seeing his sister get up and talk normally .

"Sis, what was happening outside . Is big sis Gu panpan came to beat us again" Xia Ming asked her with an innocent face . He looks a little scared too .

Gu Hua's heart ache a little on seeing him sacred ' He is merely a little sprout who have to endure so much at such a little age . '

Gu Ming smiled at her as he liked his sister playing with his hair . His sister always remained silent, but now after seeing his big sis so active and playing with him he was really happy ah!

Gu Hua started picking the herbs which lay scattered all over the floor . Following his sister picking up the herbs, Gu Ming also started picking the herbs . Although his hands were small, he was able to pick some thin herbs .

Gu Hua felt warm on seeing his actions and could not help but smile widely . Both of them quickly sorted out the herbs neatly into two rows on the table .

While Gu Hua and Gu Ming were having their little moment . A black-clothed shadow slowly stepped out from behind the ancient tree in her courtyard . The man's facial features were very exquisite, perfect to the point that even gods would be envious . The man pursed his thin lips and his expression carried a chilling determination . However, his pitch-dark eyes continued to look at the receding form of the young girl with a sense of gentleness and familiarity .

"I'm sorry, Yun'er . I can't reunite with you yet, please forgive me . I have being waiting for you for such a long time, you are finally here . "

Inside the house Gu Hua started grinding the herbs with a stone . Though the process is time consuming and requires a lot of manual effort Gu Hua didn't have a particular bad feeling about it .

Gu Hua is clearly excited about the end results . And she never believed that one can achieve excellent results without the required work and time . So she started to grind the herbs patiently with a moderate force .

"Sis . " a cute voice interrupted her thoughts .

Gu Hua turned and tilted her head to look at the boy handing her a paper . After taking the paper from his arms curiously she found a sketch of a girl . Though the art is a bit poor, she can tell that this little dumpling drew her image .

So no matter how bad the picture was she really liked it . Gu Hua looked at the boy's hands and face which are smeared with color and felt fuzzy . She looked at his expectant eyes and smiled " Ming, I really like it .

Ming blushed and smiled . while Gu Hua clutched her heart' this little brat's cute smile is a fatal attack for all the ladies . not good' Gu Hua slowly calmed her thumping heart .

She spoke a few words of encouragement and resumed her work . Gu Ming hopped excitedly towards his bed and started to draw another picture .
