After I lost that duel. I had to take a hard look at this world and saw many changes. Shen Eros was right...this wasn't my world. I went to the Desert Palace deep in the Endless Desert to find that book, but the palace was in ruins and the Temporal Demon Spirit Book was not there. I came back to Glory City and learned there was a demon horde invasion... which wasn't supposed to happen for a few more years...I was shocked plus I notice some of the people in glory city reached Heavenly Fate Realm. they easily repelled it.

I also discover a mysterious "something" hiding within my soul.I only know it wasn't there is the previous life. Because of this, I believe that it could be connected to the Temporal Demon Spirit Book. When I reached gold rank I discovered that this form is actually a strange "vine." The vine is able to absorb an endless amount of soul force and nurture my demon spirits.

This theory was mostly confirmed when the vine blooms and causes the time and space under its petals to become stagnate. This is an ability that should only belong to the Temporal Demon Spirit Book.

I decided to leave glory city. In my past life, I visited the Black Spring and discovered the mysterious and complex inscription patterns, but did not know what they were or how to break through them. I later came to learn how profound these patterns were and that they must have been placed by an expert.

Now is different because I am an expert.

To reach the Black Spring one must first walk through a dark forest filled with Black Oil trees. These trees emit toxins that resemble a light black fog and over time slowly poison any living creature. Because of this, the forest floor is littered with thousands of bones from demon beasts and humans that wandered into it. After the forest is a marsh that contains a strong poison that will rot any skin that it touches.

I used the six thugs that attacked me as manual labor to pass through this area. I give them elixirs that will allow them to pass through the forest and then had them build me a path through the marsh with planks. I also had them gather vines to make several thousand meters of rope. After five hours they completed these tasks and I allowed them to leave.

With Yu Yan's direction me I start to cultivate the law of light. Since he has a high level of comprehension, it only takes a short time for him to deconstruct the law of light, and then after, darkness. I discover that the power of law is actually structured as a type of inscription pattern. Now armed with this knowledge, he now has a stronger understanding of this world and the power in it.

The laws of light and darkness also have an effect on his two demon spirits. By feeding the laws into his vine he also felt his demon spirits grow.

After activating the Demon Spirit Devouring Technique, Nie Li used his Fanged Panda to devour demon spirits. As he does his soul realm fills and then painfully expands continuously...
