Raphtalia looks at Eros and asks "How did you know where the shield hero was? Can you sense him?" She looks at him with sparks in her eyes

Eros shakes his head"Well I can I just saw him over there. My eyes can see great ...like I can see you're wearing some cute panties"

Raphtalia eyes start watering "How did you know that" she starts blushing 'I would have better ones if I had known.

Eros starts walking to the church with Raphtalia covering self with her hands

Then he runs up to Naofumi who was with a young boy..no its a girl?'is he into that? oh, there are a few of the heroes here...there that's Motoyasu...hmm did I do something to him? They all were yelling at Naofumi saying all this stuff about him.

Eros just was happy and waved "Hey guys long time no see. Ren, you look like your more badass, Fuckbo...Matoyasu you seem...different and Naofumi long time no see whos this girl?"

Matoyasu glared "What were you going say? "

Ren just nodded "been a while"

Naofumi was frustrated at first but calmed down after seeing it was Eros. He warned him about this fucking kingdom but he didn't listen and it has been hell"This is a slave I got. His name is..."

Before he could finish Raphtalia ran and hugged him "Keel is that you" She started crying

Then a girl comes up. She seemed a lovely girl with semi-long crimson hair. With a pretty cute face, youthful facial features...'why does she feel so familiar'

She then said "You bow arrow you shouldn't talk with Matoyasu-sama like that..." she went on and on

Eros then looks at her and says "Do I know you? You seem familiar..."

"Huh? You left before we selected companions.." She looks and sees filthy demi-humans(to her) "you should choose better companions"

Eros ignored that conversation because he was deep in thought 'hmm I should investigate her. She seems familiar but..." He looks over at Raphtalia hugging her friend and sighs signaling Naofumi they should leave.

Filo who comes carrying some food comes when they leave the church. They go to that blacksmith place and start talking. "So he was at the same village as Raphtalia, right? They thought each other was dead but it turns out she was still alive..." Naofumi summarizes

Eros looks at Naofumi and says "Keel is a girl "

Naofumi, Raphtalia and Keel look at Eros shocked and Keel says "I'm a man"

Naofumi begins to tell his fucking hilarious story.

It went like this. He thought Eros had gone crazy however no one joined him when companions joined them. Only Myne, However that was just a huge lie to get him to steal all his money and frame him for ****. The kingdom framed him for raped and looked at him as he was a monster. She ran into the Spear hero room and asked for his protection from him. It was hell he said and he had to get a slave to survive. As he finished Eros started laughing

"haha that's hilarious you didn't even get drunk but they said you raped her drunk...you didn't even fuck that girl's hot body even though you were framed for raped haha. Sorry stop glaring at me its kind of funny if you think about it...but there's more to it than it may seem"

After a second of glaring, he looked at Eros confused and wondered what he meant. Eros continued "don't you find the whole thing contrive. The way the whole kingdom believed you raped a girl right away. The way the king was quick to punish you..."

He was shocked that was strange. Eros went more into detail "The king seemed bothered...I think he may be connected to that girl Myne. I heard that this kingdom is one ruled by the Queen. The king is ruling while she is away. They have two daughters. One of which is always with the queen and is said to be the next queen. I think she is the other princess. "

He stands up and punches the wall" that would explain it all." he starts laughing "that is funny" he seemed to be going mad. Keel hugs him to calm him down.

Eros then says "there is more... that wouldn't explain the public. Did you look at the church symbol when you went there?" He shakes his head"They showed the bow, spear, and sword but no shield. Raphtalia told me the Shield hero is always kind to the demi humans. However, in this nation, they hate demi-humans as I'm sure you notice... "

He frowns and asks what he meant by all this. Eros just shakes his head and says "The **** charges was just a justification for them to hate you. So the church would get rid of you. The King hates demi-humans I heard that many years ago his sister was taken by demi-humans and you being a person that is always kind to them is seen as a demon for him. I'm sure that's why he joined the church case and tried to get rid of you"

Anger builds in him and his shield starts to change but keel calmed him down as she hugged him. "So that's why Myne tricked me"

Eros thinks for a moment and says "I'm not so sure...I think there is something else at a place for Myne...like she's a pawn but let's not worry about that. " Eros then tapped Naofumi and Keel on the head

"Ouch, what was that for huh" A bunch of knowledge about some light healing and how to read. Also, some skills unlocked.

Eros just said "I transferred knowledge how to read and some defensive techniques. You have to learn the rest on your own. I only did it because of Raphtalia friend your sword."

Keel thought for a second repeating what he said 'sword...I'm Naofumi-sama sword'

Raphtalia smiled but filo says "wait I thought you had to kiss us on the lips and tongue to learn that" Eros laughed and said"Oh I lied! I just wanted to kiss you both" They all laughed

the next day was the wave. Naofumi and Eros fist bumped were transfered. Eros was at a different place than Naofumi. Naofumi and Keel decided to help the villiage and Eros stood there for a few minutes looking at the sky and started laughing while Raphtalia and Filo were confused and worried.

Raphtalia asks "Are you ok Eros?" Filo joins in asking if he is hungry

"Eros looks at the girls and shakes his head. "no I just discovered the nature of the waves..."

they both were shocked

'so everyone thinks the Waves of Calamity are a mysterious phenomenon that occurs every so often in the world and warranting the summoning of the Four Saint Heroes, to confront.

But in reality waves are an event where two worlds collide and begin bleeding into each other, thus the cracks in the sky through which monsters escape are in fact gaps opened between the two worlds. The waves can be slowed and stopped by allowing the Four Good Omens to complete their rampages, or they can be accelerated and completed by killing members of the Four Saint Heroes and Eight Vassel Heroes. (that must be why Naofumi wasn't killed)

When the waves get to a very bad point, the two worlds are no longer able to maintain their separation and begin bleeding into one another, eventually leading to the destruction of one or both worlds.

The waves usually occur on a monthly basis, however, the deaths of the heroes can accelerate this while allowing the Four Good Omen's to rampage would slow it if the heroes are wiped out then the world is destroyed and if the Omen's complete their rampages then the Waves stop completely.

When a wave occurs the Four Saint Heroes and their companions can be summoned directly to the location of the ensuing wave, except in the case of the Four Good Omen's Waves, which are unique in that the heroes are not meant to fight against them at all.

While the heroes exist to hold off the waves and keep the worlds from completely merging (which would result in mutual annihilation), the Four Good Omen's work to stop the waves by killing vast numbers of living beings (approximately 66% of an entire planet's life forms) and storing up their souls.

The Four Heavenly Beasts, or good omens, are the Spirit Turtle, Houou, Kirin, and Ouryuu. These beings have all been sealed away at present and were meant to escape during the 7th through 10th waves,

Once released they cause immense destruction, they pursue all living things, kill them and consume their souls. However, their purpose is not malicious, rather it is to confront the waves and save their world. By storing up souls they manage to push back the waves and they can effectively stop the waves in exchange for killing 2/3rds of the world's population. They can be thought of as a last resort, saving the world itself at the cost of heavy living casualties"

Eros explains all this to the two which shocked them greatly. Raphtalia then asks "then why is this all happening," She said with tears in her eyes. Filo hugged her sister Eros then shrugs "For fun"

Which shocked her and he continues "Its Myne...well it's her and not her...she is possessed right now. Part of the instigator soul is inside her. She influences her decisions. She is a girl I don't like..shes also the apprentice of an annoyingly sister of mine wrath

"huh, you know him, Eros? "Filo ask

Eros thinks for a moment and says "The prime instigator of the waves is Eris the goddess of chaos, strife, and discord but we'll call her Discordia. who performs them to drain each world of its energy for her own agenda; the suffering of the populace is for her entertainment.

she could easily destroy the world and collect the remaining energy immediately after manifesting but decides to prolong the campaign so she can enjoy monitoring her pawns as they incite war. She has the ability to reincarnate souls by using fragments of her soul, which she uses to influence people such as Malty into the various worlds she is fusing by the waves to disrupt or eliminate the heroes who are thwarting her machinations."

Raphtalia was overloaded at this information but a question appeared in her mind'how does he know a goddess?'

Eros realized its been an hour and should hurry up...They saw the two heroes and their party fighting a boss monster. the fuckboy said"Your late Eros." Eros sees the monster and shoots it with his arrow and it was destroyed and the wave ended. Everyone looked at Eros and he says "One shot again damn it"

The other heroes stared at him wondering what level he was at. Eros just seemed to look at Myne...wondering what he should do with her...
