Ariel Dauch – Former member of the Third Generals. Strongest known Mist User. One of the three founders and Supreme Rulers of Kingdom Earth. Ruler of El-Eden.

Beam Cannon – The new UGNE’s long range A class weapon BC, “Beam Cannon”, during Humanity New Earth Great War.

Beasts – Inhabit and dominate the one half of New Earth, the other half belong to humanity.

Blood Wine – A wine produced from the rare Blood Red Grapes that grow only in the deep beasts’ territory.

Border Between Species – Border that marks the area where humanity’s territory ends and the beasts’ territory begins in New Earth and vice versa.

Caller – A device that was based on the ancient cellphone. It works with a combination of formations and technology, charged by a tiny Sun Stone and a tinier piece of Peral metal that forms the connection, packed inside a plastic housing, much like a Screen.

Cave Fourteen – El-Eden’s capitol cave.

Cave Nineteen – El-Eden’s huge underground resort cave with countless attractions. The Young Mist Users Conference is held in cave nineteen every three years.

Cave Twenty – An industrial cave.

Cave Twenty Five – Home for some of the middle class population in El-Eden including Zax’s family.

Cave twenty four – Residence to middle-high class families. Its governor is Xingze Edomachi, Take’s father and an acquaintance of Zetsa.

Cave Twenty Three – A nature reserve cave.

Chapel Doloris – Also known as “Clergyman”. A Top phase, D level Mist User and a professional fighter in the Earth’s Core’s showdowns.

Council Of Ten – Surrogates during the period when the whereabouts of the Supreme Rulers was unknown.

Core Breaker – The second title of a Mist User, received when the practitioner attain a certain level of cultivation and enlightenment and the shell of the Earth’s Core in the dantian completely crumble and merge with the mist. It consists of one level, level C. Mist’s color light white, white, dark white.

Core Master – The fifth title of a Mist User received when the practitioner attain a certain level of cultivation and enlightenment that enable him or her to recreate the complete refined Earth’s Core in the dantian. It consists of one level, level S. Mist’s color light azure, azure, dark azure.

Coreless Children – children who had not participated yet in the Great Earth’s Core Pursuit.

Dane – One of Zax’s closest friends.

Danka – A schoolmate of Zax in pre Core School.

Dani Dan – Former member of the council of ten, also a commanding officer at the Kingdom Earth Resistance.

Dark Century – The period of Humanity New Earth Great War.

Dodo Korseski – Of the high class Korseski family.

Don Hakate – Former Lieutenant Colonel in the UGNE’s army.

Dugo – A student in Molten Core that Zax and his friends met at the Young Mist Users Conference.

Earth’s Core – A power stone, a crystal that when inside the dantian of a person, turned him to a Mist User through a certain process. There are various qualities Earth’s Cores, lowF, mediumE and highD but only a Mist User at the Mist Master level can distinguish between them. Even among the different qualities there are variations and one low quality Earth’s Core might not necessarily be equal to another low quality Earth’s Core and the same goes to medium quality Earth’s Core and high quality Earth’s Core.

Earth’s Core Holder – The first title of a Mist User, received when first contact with the mist energy is made. It is divided into three levels F, E, D. F being the lowest and D being the most advanced of the title. Advancement depends on the practitioner level of cultivation and enlightenment. Mist’s color light brown, brown, dark brown.

Earth’s Core’s Showdowns – Zax’s favorite fighting show. The ranks of the fights correspond to the levels of the Mist Users participants. F to D levels fights are rated as beginner, mid beginner and advanced beginner showdowns.

El-Eden – Sovereign Ariel Dauch’s region in Kingdom Earth and a third from the whole kingdom.

Em Martinez – The head of the high class Martinez family.

Erdar – The first human to possess and Earth’s Core.

Ernis – Taltalon’s doctor.

Formation – Mostly a complicated array of objects and energy manipulation to produce all kinds of effects. Formations are divided by classes and in general a Mist User can execute any formation as long as its class corresponds to his or her level and has the required understanding. To alter a formation a Mist User has to be a level above the class of the formation.

Fourchettes Et Couteaux – The restaurant Jinka works at.

Gid Chu Takeda – Former member of the Third Generals. One of the strongest Mist Users. One of the three founders and Supreme Rulers of Kingdom Earth. Ruler of Shitou.

Great Earth’s Core Pursuit – An annual event in which only coreless children at the fourth grade participate in by law. During this event kids will receive the opportunity to find their own Earth’s Core. Kids who won’t be able to find an Earth’s Core by the end of the event will receive one from the event’s organizers.

Habul Majid – Founder of the high class Majid family. Masela’s father. An extremely strong Mist User. A man of exalted status.

Half Year Celebrations – An annual holiday at the end of June that represented people’s gratitude towards Nature for a good six months in Kingdom Earth. As opposed to its name, the Half Year Celebrations befall only at the end of June.

Historic Centre Of New Earth – Exist in any of the three regions of Kingdom Earth. An array of buildings that possess the accumulated knowledge of New Earth’s history, Earth’s Cores, ancient machinery, art…

Kingdom Earth – The founded nation of Ariel Dauch, Trey Zoearth and Gid Chu Takeda. After defeating the new UGNE It covered all of humanity territory in New Earth.

Kingdom Earth Resistance – A group of Mist Users that formed in order to fend off the new UGNE’s army and save whomever they can.

Laylen Zel – Zax’s and Zetsa’s mother, wife to Marco Zel. Works as a veterinarian in cave twenty five.

Level G And H – Unofficial levels to determine the strength of Qi or soul of someone below the F level Mist User, Earth’s Core Holder.

Marco Zel – Zax’s and Zetsa’s father, husband to Laylen Zel. Works in cave twenty five’s Management Office at the Department of Water.

Masela Majid – Daughter of Habul Majid. Trained from early age in Qi refining techniques. Even as a coreless child have shown great potential and superb control over her Qi.

Maxim – A young Mist User that served under Dani Dan in the Kingdom Earth Resistance.

Merly – A schoolmate of Zax in pre Core School.

Mi – A schoolmate of Zax in pre Core School.

Mirta Du Alk Mar “Mrs. Mar” – Zax’s school’s principal in pre Core School.

Mishe – Turan Martinez’s bodyguard.

Mist Energy – The energy that exists inside the Earths’ Cores. When becoming A Mist User, the Qi is consumed and replaced by the mist energy.

Mist Lord – The fourth title of a Mist User, received when the practitioner attain a certain level of cultivation and enlightenment in regards to the mist energy. It consists of one level, level A. Mist’s color light gold, gold, dark gold.

Mist Master – The third title of a Mist User, received when the practitioner attain a certain level of cultivation and enlightenment in regards to the mist energy. It consists of one level, level B. Mist’s color light silver, silver, dark silver.

Mist Refining Techniques – Techniques to improve the level of the mist energy.

Mist User – Someone who possesses an Earth’s Core and reached at least to the first phase, Beginner, of the F level Earth’s Core Holder. To each level of a Mist User there are four phases, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, the fourth phase to a Mist User below the Core Breaker level is called Top and to a Mist User above the Core Breaker level it is called Peak. In Kingdom Earth Mist Users between the levels of Core Breaker and Mist Lord are considered Experts and Mist Users above the Mist Lord level are considered Super Experts.

Mocca Kart – A popular online racing game in Kingdom Earth.

Molten Core – One of the Three Martial Schools in Kingdom Earth. It is located in Tongguo. The school’s symbol was a melting Earth’s Core which emphasized the future prospects of its students, becoming Core Breakers. The school’s uniforms consisted from two colors, green and silver, in different shades. Much like the changes in the shades of a Mist User’s aura, darker shades uniforms meant higher grade students.

Mor – An honorific title a Martial student uses to refer to his or her Martial teacher. Title is added after the first name of the Martial teacher. Take, for example, refer to Zetsa as “Zetsa Mor”.

Mortimer Dauch – Ninth son of Supreme Rule Ariel Dauch.

Mr. Ogler – Zax’s homeroom teacher during pre Core School.

Mrs. Char Lynn – A school teacher at Zax’s pre Core School.

Mrs. Dukreker – Zax’s math teacher during pre Core School.

Naga – A boy from Zax’s pre Core School class.

Nagasta – Former envoy of the UGNE.

Nature – A force which dictate the rules of the world.

New Earth – The network of underground caves that humanity and beasts immigrated to over 5775 years ago after Nature’s rules have changed.

New United Governments of New Earth – Relics of the original United Governments of New Earth which plotted to take over Kingdom Earth when humanity’s territory was divided between the two.

Nightly Cover Formation – Designed by a Mist User named Elisha Habud and applied in all the populated caves. Its purpose is to form a veil of darkness, like the night sky above the ground, to distinguish between day time and night time.

Nura – A young maid working in the governor’s manor for the Edomachi at cave twenty four.

Nurse Elwood – Zax’s school’s nurse in his pre Core School.

Pelar Metal – The sturdiest metal known in Kingdom Earth. It is name after the woman worker who discovered it in a labor camp of the new UGNE.

Post Core School – A school from fourth to tenth grade, enrolled by young Mist Users.

Pre Core School – A school from first to third grade, enrolled by coreless children.

Qi Refining Techniques – Techniques to improve the level of the Qi.

Radical Fiery Icy Provocation Qi Refining Technique – A top tier Qi refining technique which Zetsa uses to train Take and even train in it herself. This technique follows the principle of ice-cold hot-fire and has four stages, Fiery Icy, Fifteen Long Bridges, Fiery Icy Qi Unification and The Endless Path Of Fire And Ice.

Ram – An honorific title used after the first name of the person who is being addressed. The meaning of the word is “Exalted”.

Raroken – A Chinese dragon like beast. One of the two leaders of the Silverhorned tribe. One of the five tribes entrusted with the beasts’ outer territory.

Raroma – A humanoid lizard beast. One of the two leaders of the Silverhorned tribe. One of the five tribes entrusted with the beasts’ outer territory.

Remembering For Safe Future (RFSF) – A group that was established in order to oppose to Mortimer Dauch’s expedition to above the ground.

Removal Division – A department with brunches all over Kingdom Earth. Their job is to expel beasts that cross the border between to species.

Rudolf Brie – Lieutenant of Dani Dan in Kingdom Earth Resistance.

Salony – Former bar owner in Taltalon. Died accidentally by Erdar. The first man to die in the hands of a Mist User.

Screen – A device that was based on the ancient Television. It works with a combination of formations and technology, charged by a tiny Sun Stone and a tinier piece of Peral metal that forms the connection, packed inside a plastic housing, much like a Caller.

Seed – A compressed Qi ball that is far superior in purity to the customary innate Qi of the human body. It is a genetic advantage that only children who have at least one parent at the Mist Lord level are born with.

Seed Holder – Someone who is born with a Seed.

Serah Lova – One of Zax’s closest friends. Known by her friends as Mocca Kart addict.

Shitou – Sovereign Gid Chu Takeda region in Kingdom Earth and a third from the whole kingdom.

Showdowns League – The next step of the Earth’s Core’s showdowns. The ranks of the fights correspond to the levels of the Mist Users participants. C to A levels fights are rated as early expert, expert and advanced expert showdowns.

Slovet Edomachi – Take’s mother, Xingze wife and Zetsa’s friend.

Smoke Energy – A lava like color energy, the combination of Sun Stone’s energy and Earth’s Core’s energy, created by the new UGNE to fuel the Victorious.

Somnolence Meditation – From Wiki: This is the starting level of meditation. When a person starts meditation, they often enter into a somnolent or sleep state (ghanood غنود). With the passage of time, the person goes into a state between sleep and wakefulness. So the person can remember that he saw something, but not specifically what it is.

Soul Pressure Formation – A method of checking the soul’s level. Effective only to below Core Breaker’s level. The subject has to withstand with the soul mental waves that gradually grow stronger.

Strong Arm League – The company that manage the Earth’s Core’s showdowns.

Sun K-79 – A luxury bike like vehicle that very few get to own and drive because of its price and Kingdom Earth’s traffic rules.

Sun Stones – Crystals found embedded in the soil of New Earth. They have positive characteristics of heat, light and rehabilitation. When in contact with water from above the ground small Sun Stones shatter and explode while emitting burning rays of light.

Sun Stone storm – When water from above the ground seep into the earth and wet the small Sun Stones at the ceilings of the tunnels and caves, a scenario that repeats itself every few years, dozens of the smallest Sun Stones crystals begin to explode in a manner that sounds like the ancient thunder storms.

Supreme Rulers – Former Three Generals of the UGNE. Founders and rulers of Kingdom Earth.

Take Edomachi – Son of Xingze Edomachi, Zetsa’s Tal and an elder brother like figure to Zax.

Tal – An honorific title a Martial teacher uses to refer to his or her Martial student. Title is added after the first name of the Martial student. Zetsa, for example, sometimes refer to Take as “Take Tal”.

Taltalon – An old colony near the border between species where people first stumbled upon an Earth’s Core.

Tania – A girl from Zax’s pre Core School class.

Ten Souls Formation – A ten people formation that can expand to over ten kilometer in diameter and deplete any Sun Stone fueled machinery at an alarming pace.

Thousand Blades Dancer – The new UGNE’s close range B class weapon TBD, “Thousand Blades Dancer”, during Humanity New Earth Great War.

Three Colors Lion – A beast that even as a coreless cub could match F level Mist Users.

Three Martial Schools – With one in each faction of Kingdom Earth, these schools have special program that help to stimulate and foster the natural reservoir of Qi in the human’s body. Only coreless kids who passed the three schools’ requirements get the opportunity to enroll.

Tlipilirs – Green, apples like, fruits. When not ripe it tastes sour and when ripe it tastes sweet.

Tongguo – Sovereign Trey Zoearth region in Kingdom Earth and a third from the whole kingdom.

Trey Zoearth – Former member of the Third Generals. One of the strongest Mist Users. One of the three founders and Supreme Rulers of Kingdom Earth. Ruler of Tongguo.

Troel Lova – Serah’s father.

Turan Martinez – Son of Em Martinez, the head of the high class Martinez family. A student in Molten Core. Met Zex and his friends in the Young Mist Users Conference.

Ultimate Breaker’s Soul Defense – A defensive formation with an additional offensive effect which counter any close range attacks with equal strength in the form of a shockwave.

United Governments of New Earth (UGNE) – The first organization to lead humanity in New Earth. Was destroyed by the Supreme Rulers.

Victorious – Fueled by the combined energies of Sun Stones and Earth’s Cores with body made of Peral metal and formation to stabilize it, the S class weapon Victorious are the strongest weapon the new UGNE ever sent to the battlefield.

Xingze Edomachi – The governor of cave twenty five, Take’s father and an acquaintance of Zetsa.

Young Mist Users Conference – A prestigious event that was meant for the high end of Kingdom Earth’s coreless population to attend. Generally, high class children who were about to enroll to the first year of a post Core School would come and have the chance to present themselves in front of the scouts of great schools, receive guidance while having the opportunity to sample cold and hot Martial weapons, obtain pointers and advices from visiting experts, watch demonstrations of advanced techniques and even participate in mock battles with professional fighters from the Earth’s Core’s showdowns competitions, which were advertised by the Strong Arm League.

Zax Zel – The Protagonist. Second child to a middle class family. Admires his big sister and dream to follow in her steps and become a great Mist User. He is also known by the notorious nickname “Earth’s Core Freak” that kids in his school stuck to him because of his obsession with becoming strong and the fact that he is for a boy in his age.

Zetsa Zel – Zax’s big sister in eleven years. A beautiful, talented and strong Mist User with a little brother complex. She calls her brother “Little Zi” when she is playful and “Zax” when she is serious or acting as his Mor.
