Attention Players! In five minutes, you will be teleported to the Fields of Battle! As you are all aware, your glorious exploits on the Fields of Battle are currently being broadcast around the world, as the first set of Dungeon Wars to take place in Dungeon Core Online! Because of that, we have kept some information under lock and key, in order to continue to build excitement, and ensure everyone, viewers and players alike, have the most fun with the experience.

Because of that, we are utilizing this announcement to share with you information that will be vital for putting on an amazing battle in the Fields of Battle, as well as to ensure the maximization of both sides efficiently and enjoyment.

First! As both sides have learned over the past two days, there is a new currency, called dungeon essence, which has been able to be gained. Both sides have done an excellent job gathering this essence and turning it into their respective dungeons. We hope players have been extremely pleased with the items which have been available through the essence shop. The more essence players unlock, and the stronger their Dungeon War Level becomes, the greater the rewards that can be gained!

Second, the essence gains do not stop at the essence shop! The essence players have gathered during the Dungeon war can be used while on the Fields of Battle! All of the essence earned during Dungeon Wars has been combined into an essence pool, which players will have access to during their time on the fields of battle. This pool of essence will be evenly distributed to players, who will then have a variety of options which they can put their essence towards. These options include:

Using Special Buildings: The Dungeon AI may have generated unique buildings that allow players to use dungeon essence for a variety of unique upgrades or benefits. Players can use their essence points in order to interact with these buildings.

Summoning Allies: Dungeon essence can be used by players to summon allies from the dungeon! Players may utilize their essence points to summon mobs from the dungeon, to serve as their companion, for the duration of their time on the fields of battle, or until their companion dies! The cost for these mobs is dependent on the cost of the mob!

Special Summons: Players can pool their essence together at a variety of unique summoning alters on the Fields of Battle. These alters are located at the spawn area. Once the spawn threshold on essence has been met, players are able to spawn powerful allies to fight alongside their player base against the enemy dungeon. These powerful allies include bosses, as well as Dungeon Avatars, which are powerful embodiments of the dungeon, who will bring a unique set of powerful skills and abilities to the Fields of Battle!

Players are able to gift their core essence to friends and allies, as you will discover the spread of essence may not be enough to individual create a desired effect to occur. That being said, players should feel free, and are highly encouraged, to fully utilize their essence points as best they see fit. While it is only day 3 of the dungeon wars, battles on the Fields of Battle can be extremely intense! Any and all damage to each dungeon's core on day 3, will be carried over to day 5! As will all unspent essence!

Furthermore, while on the Fields of Battle, players can still gain essence! Just like the first two days of dungeon wars, slaying enemies will grant players dungeon essence. However, they must return to their spawn area, and present this essence to the core room, in order to be awarded for earning that essence.

If a player falls on the Fields of Battle while carrying unspent essence, any player, from either side, may gain that essence for themselves! Be smart, be wise, and most of all, have fun!

"He sure is full of himself." James muttered as he finished reading the announcement that had just gone out. While it had been a helpful announcement, James could tell why Xander had made it. The notes that had been released to players had been woefully lacking any speceficis when it came to how to utilize essence during the dungeon wars, especially when it came to the Fields of Battle.

James was pretty certain this was all a ploy by Xander in order to encourage both sides to spend as much essence as they could. Especially with the call of encouragement to players to try new things and spend all the essence they could. What else could be more unique, and a more efficient treat, than summoning the Dungeon Avatars to the battlefield? James was pretty sure Xander had extreme faith that the moment BLANK's avatars were summoned, their victory would be assured. Of course, James was really looking forward to proving him wrong.

"I would be worried if he wasn't." Rue pointed out, as they watched the timer slowly counting down. There was one minute remaining till they would be teleported to the fields of battle. James had been in the middle of triple checking all of his preparations, while a feeling of excitement and anxiety rushed over him. As a gamer, he was extremely excited to see the chaos that would be a 10,000 vs 10,000 player free for all. However, with what was on the line, he couldn't' help but feel a little anxious.

However, he pushed that anxiety aside, and turned his focus to the task at hand. He and Rue were going to win this. They were not going to let Xander get the best of them, and that also meant, James wasn't going to let that prick get into his head. He was going to have fun during this dungeon war. And there was nothing Xander could do about it.

"True." James added, as the seconds seemed to slow down. Honestly, the waiting was the worst. It was a pain he knew all too well though. After all, he was all too familiar with the waiting game, not only for new content or raids in WoW Universe, but also when it came to watching anime and reading web serials. That ever present, gnawing wait for the next chapter, or the next episode, was painful. And as he watched the seconds tick by, he could feel himself becoming even more anxious and excited. It was finally here. A white light enveloped everyone, including himself and Rue as the clock hit 0. A moment later, they were on the Fields of Battle.
