Lila had just finished her meal when she spotted maroon colored hair by the door. She immediately stood up and made her way over. "Haruka."

"Hey babe," Haruka bent down and immediately captured her lips with his.

In the middle of that, she noticed the two were walking away.

In a few seconds, Kasumi and Miu returned with Shichiro in tow. Her sweat fell, "Ummm.."

Shichiro seemed irritated, "They just dragged me away from a scientific conference."

Her eyes lit up, "There's a conference here in the mall?"

"Yeah, it's from a new York professor."

Lila looked over at Haruka, "Haruka? Can I go?"

Haruka gently kissed her cheeks, and she clapped her hands, "Okay! Let's go, everyone."

Kasumi sighed but nodded, and Shichiro leads the way. The entire time Lila kept looking over at Haruka, 'he seems strange today,' Lila thought. Is it just her imagination?

It did not take them long before they arrived.

"Wow, there are so many people here," Lila's sentence fell short when somebody bumped into her, causing her to lose her footing. However, instead of falling to the ground, somebody caught her. Lila beamed happily, "Haruka, you followed me?"

"Yeah," he brushed the specs of dirt from her clothes, "Please be careful, my wife."

"Ah-huh, I understand."

Shichiro coughed, "Are you forgetting someone?"

"Aha, sorry, Shichiro."

"So lovey-dovey that you fail to realize your own surroundings. I'm amazed. But your happiness is the most important."

Haruka's arms wrapped around her, and she felt his lips brush against her hair. Are they cuddling? She likes it. "Haruka, what's wrong?"

It's not like she could have just walked in here otherwise. But Lila supposed it was only a normal reaction. No guy would be happy if their partner uses their identity as the fiance of another man. Lila nodded, "I did."

But even then, the staff would have had to confirm with Kiryu. Right now, there are all kinds of rumors regarding their relationship, after all. Yet, she overheard one of the guards, 'If it's Lilsama, we treat her like we would do with the boss.' That stupid guy, why is he still so kind to her? She and Kiryu broke up; he was the one who left her. But sometimes she feels like she ran away with another guy like what the rumors said. Didn't she go to Light town for Haruka's sake? While she did have her other reasons, her main reason was Haruka.

When Kiryu learned about that, didn't she hurt him? Even though it wasn't for anything romantic, and Lila genuinely wanted to help Haruka change. Along the way, something changed, and she did have other intentions. But it's far too late to dwell on such things now. The past is the past, and the future is the future. Right now she is Haruka's wife, while it isn't legal yet - she still belongs to another man.

"I see," Haruka nodded, "Got it."

That's it? Just now, he seemed mad. Well forget it, she doesn't want Haruka to be angry, anyway.

"Switch that off!" Zane exclaimed. This was the last thing he expected to see. Up until now, the two didn't notice the surveillance, but now that they have. It feels like they are mocking him.

Damn, that woman she got him good. So much for keeping an eye out on Haruka this way and teasing her with his blood like that, such a vixen. His thoughts broke off when somebody familiar strolled in the room. Zane frowned when he smelled the scent on her, and angrily made his wat over.

"Hey? Zane? What's wrong?"

"Shut up, stay still," he murmured as he pushed her onto the ground.

Rosalia rolled her eyes, "Did Lila make you mad or something?" He glared at her, and the woman sighed, "I told you to leave her to me, but you keep messing around."

"It's none of your business what I do with her."

"I know, I know. But you wouldn't have such a hard time if you just leave it to me."

Zane sighed as he pulled away from her slightly, "If I leave it to you, you'll harm her."

"Isn't that fine? She's still your enemy if she doesn't comply to your request."

Sure enough, Rosalia makes a point there. In the past, Zane was confident he could make that woman submit. But now, "Things have changed."

"Because of your so-called pawn. You thought you could control him well. But that fool has become obsessed with her, to the point he will disobey you."

Zane hesitated but nodded. His recent condition is not good, and he has to deal with the counter attacks from the Terashima and Austin family.

Lila looked at her clothing and panicked. She pulled on the blanket and wrapped it around herself. When did he get her shirt off? She didn't notice at all. Geez... Her thoughts broke off when Haruka tugged on the blanket; he took out a shirt from his bag. "Get changed; you'll get sick."

Stupid, this is his fault.

"What you asked me to investigate the other time, I confirmed it with my mother---," Lila sensed it right before Kasumi did and exclaimed.

"Get out of here!"

On seconds Kasumi disappeared, leaving her alone with Haruka. With bloodshot red eyes and sweat falling from his body as he pinned her down. 'That Zane, bastard,' Lila cursed in her head. She wrapped her arms around his neck, "I'm here for you; don't worry about anything."

Three days later

Since that day, Haruka's blood lust was uncontrollable. Lila hadn't had the chance to properly investigate what Zane did to trigger it, but she knew it was dangerous from the way he looked at her whenever they were working.

"Mmmmm," Lila remained still on his lap as Haruka continued to suck from her neck.

"This voice is better than any music."

"Strange, they are taking too long," Haruka mused. Indeed, the two of them have been in this waiting room for approximately an hour and a half.

"They seemed disorganized earlier; maybe they are still setting things up."

Noticing Haruka look over at her, Lila made her way over, and Haruka pulled her into his arms. Her gaze softened, "What's the matter? Is it cuddling time already?"

"Yeah."

"Ah, ah if were going to cuddle I might as well do work too!" Lila pointed to the couch, and Haruka brought her over. As she sat on Haruka's lap again, Lila took out some music scores from her bag. The new song she was going to sing with Yori was written in Korean, 'I'm your girl, huh?' Lila thought. What an ironic title.
