Dream Star 109 Extra 1: Present For You

June 13th, 2035

"Huh? Chocolate?" Haruka said. He was busy looking through the girls schedule, when he was suddenly dragged into the conversation.

"Right, we were talking about what the perfect present would be from a girl."

"It has to be chocolate right?"

Courses of nods follow. Isn't chocolate supposed to be only for valentines day?

"There's something special about getting chocolate when it's not valentines.."

"So you think I should ask her that?"

"The fact that you have a girlfriend annoys everyone.."

It's special?

A flash of black hair appeared in his head. Come to think of it, he did receive something like that from her a few months back. Even though it wasn't valentines day.

...

Chocolate huh? He's never been fond of sweets but it's not like he dislikes it either. What a strange topic to talk about, it's no where close to valentine's day, those guys have way too much free time. Should he hire more competent staff? As he was thinking this, he spotted blue hair. There was a guy with her, a lesser artist from another company.

"P--please accept this."

"Eh?"

"That is, Miss Kiku Ari-san, please be my girlfriend."

At that comment he paused, how gutsy. He thought that his presence by the girl's side was enough to keep the guys away. It seems like that's not the case here.

"I'm sorry, there's somebody I like." Lila said.

...huh...

Isn't she supposed to say that she's already taken? It's not like there's anything wrong with her admitting to dating anyone.

The boy didn't seem surprised and slowly asked, "As I thought.... Is it Karashima Haruka?"

The girls cheeks reddened, which didn't go unnoticed by the guy.

"Karashimsan, has a very bad reputation. He won't make you happy."

"You simply don't know him." Lila said. His eyes widened at the girls response. What is she doing? His reputation really is bad, and there really is no guarantee that he can make her happy.

Lila bowed, "I'm very sorry. But I can't go out with you."

"Will you at least accept this? It would go to waste otherwise. You could use it for reference to."

"T--that's...um.." Lila stammered, "Thank you."

It didn't take him long to discover the context for the girls conversation earlier, and why that guy gave her chocolates either. By chance that person stumbled on Lila trying to make chocolates and he wanted to impress her and did the same. How idiotic. Why is she making chocolates? It's not like it's the 14th or anything. Who is she making chocolates for? The guys conversation earlier remained fixed in his mind. Making chocolates is considered something special right?

"Could we kiss now?"he asked.

Lila froze on the spot and laughed awkwardly, "Um, what is it all of a sudden? We ought to get back quickly..."

He understands that, but...he really wants her. Especially after hearing that. Haruka wrapped his arms around the girls waist and pulled her towards him. His eyes locked with the girls and he looked her up and down, her whole face was flushed red. This girl probably has no idea huh? Exactly how he sees her. He wants to posses everything about her, to make her his completely. His thoughts aren't pure and yet she always...

Haruka leaned down and kissed her gently at first, after adjusting, he sucked on her bottom lip asking for entrance.

It didn't take long before the girl gave in, as his tongue explored the girls mouth.

"Nnhh...Unmghm. Unmgh...Haruka..." Lila's sudden moans, caused him to pause slightly.

It surprised him how much it easier it was for him to kiss her. Perhaps she's more willing today?

Wow… With that thought, he hesitantly un-does the uniform buttons, eventually revealing her beautiful shoulders and lacy blue bra. Haruka paused seeing it, is it just him or is her tastes changing? Haruka leaned down to plant kisses on her shoulders.

"Nnghm...Nngh…"

She's not stopping him? Maybe he could do more than this... No... Haruka shook his head, don't do anything careless. Besides, it's not like this isn't nice. His gaze softened when the girls arms wrapped around his neck, what a fool. Does she realize what she's doing?

"Haruka..."

God, don't say his name like that. This is so frustrating.

Light Academy, Home ED Classroom

Jaehee laughed, "So you let him kiss you to throw him of your trail? That's a good one."

Maika sighed deeply, "I won't be surprised if that backfires on you."

We--well she understands that. But right at that moment she noticed the book she had been looking at was popping out of her bag, so she had to do something before he noticed. What's more she wanted to find the courage to say that there was somewhere she had to go to before the next job.

"Less talking, more moving your hands." Kotori reminded them.

"Yes mam." Jaehee said.

This girl is Ayase Kotori, like herself, Jaehee and Maika. This girl also passed the Dream Stars audition round.

"Is it really okay to use this place though?" Lila asked.

"It's fine, it's fine. I got permission." Kotori reassured her.

"Then, okay..."

It really surprised Lila when she found out that Kotori was a light academy student. A third year, it's no wonder she didn't notice before. Though she doubts it's the age factor. She really hasn't been paying attention to people other than Haruka. She ought to change that slowly.

Haruka, as she recalled the kiss from earlier. She felt her face turn red again. It's not as though...it meant anything in particular. She really did intend to distract him. But, she could clearly tell what sort of effect it had on him. She probably shouldn't let him kiss her either.

"Ari-chan, less thinking about the kiss and move your hands.."

"Wahhh."

Kotori chuckled, "I heard that he's very good. But I didn't think the affect would be like this..."

"It's very different..."Lila muttered. Is it because of the piercings? Whenever they kiss, she felt it.

"Well, I'm no expert on this subject. But I do know that there's different forms of kissing. I guess it depends on who the one leading you is..."

"I--I see.."

"And also.."Kotori winked, "Perhaps it's more to do with the feelings in your heart."

At that comment she almost dropped the bowl in her hands, thankfully her friend caught it.

"Wahh. S-sorry." Lila apologized.

"I understand. It's not something you can talk about so easily." Kotori said, as she hands her back the bowl. Lila continued to stir using the mixer. For the next few minutes, she found herself deep in thought.

"Ayase-san..."

"Kotori is fine."

"Then, Kotori-chan.. Could I ask you something?" Lila said.

"What is it?"

"Haruka, hasn't had a girlfriend before?" Lila found herself asking.

"No, not that I know of. I've been attending the same school as him for awhile now and there has been no such thing."

Lila lets out a relieved sigh.

"But,"Kotori continued, "There was a incidence in middle school, that lead to him having to

Eh? Lila blinked, puzzled at this piece of news. She didn't hear anything about this.

"Kotori."

"S--sorry, I thought she already knew.."

Jaehee sighed deeply, "Well it's not like we can hide it forever. Back then a lot happened and Haruka was traumatised. I'll cut this short, there was someone Haruka loved back then. But that girl was already in a relationship with someone. That didn't stop him from trying to pursue her."

"That sounds like.."

"Your situation, but it's slightly different. The guy the girl was dating was Haruka's best friend. It was a complicated matter."

"What happened to that guy and girl?"

"The girl still attends the same school as him, and the guy is..dead."

Ehhh? She was very curious about the girl's identity and wanted to ask. But after hearing what happened to the guy..

"That's why, if you do like him. Please tell him straight up."

Thinking of the words Jaehee said earlier, Lila was in deep thought. How surprising, she didn't think that Haruka had a past like that. While the girl didn't go in too much detail, the summarized version made her heart clench in pain. Is that why Haruka is so accepting of every thing she does? Because he's already experienced it before?

She shook her head, Jaehee is right. It's slightly different than her situation. But it doesn't change the fact that he's in pain. Does she like him? Or doesn't she.. She wants to respond to his feelings properly. But every single time she thinks of doing so, she thinks of Kiryu. She should wait until Kiryu's awake, only then would she be able to focus on Haruka.

"Wahhu s--sorry."

Haruka didn't seem bothered by the slight contact of their lips, "Done with your business?" He said casually.

"Y--yes..."

Haruka nodded and quickly packed up his belongings.

"Let's go."

As he turned to leave, Lila found herself extending her hand out and tugging on the corner of his clothes.

"What?"

"I--I want to ask, can we kiss Haruka?"

Thump. Thump.

'Why not try it again? I heard about your circumstances. But Ari-chan, I really don't think you can deny that he's very important to you anymore. So why not confirm it yourself?'

"Are you sure?"

She shyly nodded.

"What if I don't stop?"

Haruka sighed deeply, "If you can't answer that, then forget it. I'm already holding a lot of things back."

"H--Haruka, I'm sorry. I just wanted to confirm things.. Lately, I've been feeling very weird towards you..."

Hearing this Haruka was delighted, maybe her feelings are changing? Is that why Mikami asked him to ask her out? But still, it probably isn't that simple. She still has Austin Kiryu after all. He frowned slightly, that's right. He can't take advantage of her confusion.

"Let's go, it's getting late." He abruptly dismissed her words and then, he heard her slump to the ground.

"Wahhh, wahh. Stupid, stupid."

". .Uh..." He looked at her in complete disbelief. The last thing he expected her was to throw a tantrum, normally she just goes along with him or gets mad. But, she's really throwing one. Geez, she's so helpless. Haruka cupped her cheeks and bends down to take her pretty mouth in his again, unlike earlier it was a rather simple kiss and yet..

"Unnmmgh." A slight moan escaped the girls lips once again.

... She really does seem to be willing to kiss. What's changed? Is it like what Mikami said? After he's finished, he pulled her into his embrace.

"Haruka?" Lila said, puzzled.

"Sorry..."he murmured slowly.

"Ah-huh, it's okay. I'm acting a bit weird too... I love Kiryu but.. "

But? But what? He really wants to ask her. However, there's something that's stopping him from doing so. He catches a glimpse of the ribboned box that fell out of the girls bag, and let's go of her. He walked over and picked it up.

"Wahhh- that's.. " Lila exclaimed.

"Is this for me?"

"Ah-huh."

So it really was for him.. Maybe Mikami's words are true. After all, she never used to do something like this. As he was thinking this, he found the girl looking at him with those burning red cheeks. Seeing this, an idea came to mind.

Lila didn't know what she was expecting for his reaction, after all, Haruka isn't the type to flatter one girl. Ah, she should probably ought to make him some tea or something too. Lila quickly got up, only to find that Haruka had grabbed hold of her wrist. She looked at him puzzled and watched as picked up the box of half eaten chocolates, placed one in his mouth and his lips were on hers.

Noting how Haruka was reacting, Lila found her heart beat increase rapidly. His hand on firmly on her waist, pulling her closer to him. The taste of the chocolate she cooked earlier was sweet and still fresh, combined with Haruka's mouth against hers.

She felt the tears well up in her eyes. She didn't understand why she was crying but she knew it wasn't because she hated it. She found her hands running through his hair, the other one firmly intertwined against his hand. This is bad, she doesn't want him to stop. What did they call this again? This feeling...

.....

Several pieces of chocolates later.

Lila found herself panting heavily, lips bruised.

Haruka ran his hand back, sweat coated his half exposed chest. At this Lila was desperately averting her gaze.

"You know, you should probably make me chocolates more often. Your more willing that way too."

Lila covered her mouth, realizing the meaning behind his words. At some point she responded and kissed him back. Before she knew it, she instinctly raised her hand and slapped him. But it was a light one and Haruka didn't seem phased at all.

"I--I'm sorry!" Lila apologized and with those words said, she quickly left the room without turning to look back.

Once she was out of the school building, she leaned against the bike shed and rummages inside her bag for her phone. Where is it where is it? Even now she couldn't stop it, her heart from beating. Upon finding it she instantly clicks the first number saved on her speed dial.

"What's wrong, Princess Lila?"

"Takeshi. I'm still at school, can you come get me?"she asked, her voice still clearly flustered and she heard a somewhat confused murmur in the background. " I---I don't think I can go back."

There's no way she could leave now, her knees still felt all weak and her heart.. .

Even now she could still feel her heart beating rather uncontrollably due to the events that just occurred.

Her cheeks clearly flustered and she understood that her voice on the phone just now, made it seem as though there was something wrong with her.

Indeed Takeshi replied with a somewhat concerned tone, "I'll be right there. Your voice sounds ....different. Are you feeling unwell?"

Lila resisted the urge to laugh then, if only that was the case. She rests her head against the post and slumped down.

"....maybe its like that."

Her hand on her lips.. What..what is she supposed to do.. This feeling isn't normal anymore. Does she like him?
