He was her rightfully wedded husband, and tomorrow he would take her to register their marriage.
The man kissed the woman until she was breathless before finally letting go at her urging.
He turned around and walked to the door.
As soon as Aidan Lucas opened the door, the chubby girl collided into his embrace.
“Daddy… Daddy, Daddy, Lulu wants a hug, Lulu is scared being alone!”
The man furrowed his brows, looking down at the little dumpling clinging to his legs, and the two… small figures following behind her.
It turned out the midnight knocking wasn't just from the little dumpling alone.
Two brothers were behind her as well.
The man's anger flared instantly.
His daughter he could tolerate, that was little Lily, and he could begrudgingly let her in.
But those two brats were obviously here to compete with him for his woman.
“Lulu, be good, don't be afraid.” The man bent down and picked up little Lulu.
But with a cold face, he said to the two boys, “You two are boys, don't tell me you're scared too?”
“We're not adults, it's normal to be scared,” Ben Lucas said calmly.
