Chapter 2301 The Way of Cause and Effect
2318. The way of cause and effect
You can say that the selfishness of human nature has been brought into greater play during the cultivation era, and this is indeed the case in all heavens and realms.
But you can't say that sincerity such as mutual trust is gone, it's just more difficult to establish.
But after it was established, this trust and sincerity became even more precious, and no one wanted to lose him.
The cost of betrayal is also very high.
Because there is a way of cause and effect in it.
Whether it is friendship, love, or other friendships, there are no exceptions!
You see, in the ancient times, wasn't that what Patriarch Hongyun and Zhen Yuanzi were like?
When Patriarch Hongyun was beheaded by Kunpeng and Patriarch Minghe, didn't the low-key Zhen Yuanzi become furious?
Before that, who had seen Zhen Yuanzi take action?
Who knew that Zhen Yuanzi still had such a treasure as a book on the ground?
It was at that time that Zhen Yuanzi established his own great power in the ancient world, and directly beat Kunpeng and Ancestor Minghe to escape. After that, who would dare to provoke Zhen Yuanzi?
As long as he stands on the vast land, no one can kill him.
It's not that its defense cannot be broken, but once it is broken, the entire ancient land will really be in danger of collapse. Even a saint would not dare to take over this huge cause and effect.
When Kunpeng and Ancestor Styx knew about this situation, what else could they do except escape?
You can't really fight Zhen Yuanzi, right?
Even if they join forces and kill Zhen Yuanzi, does the result still need to be analyzed?
The prehistoric world will immediately deal with the two of them, and there is no other way except to bury their lives together.
Zhen Yuanzi's dojo is located on the passage from Xiniu Hezhou to Zhongzhou and to Dongshen Shenzhou. Can't they just acquiesce in the introduction of Zhunti?
To put it bluntly, there is nothing he can do about it.
Before the death of Patriarch Hongyun, the two were as close as brothers. In this process, it was inevitable that the two would help each other. No one could tell who owed more karma to whom.
This cause and effect is enough for Zhen Yuanzi to stand up and put aside all the low-key style in the past.
What is the difference between this and the causal relationship between Liu Hao's friends in the cultivation era on earth now?
Real monks have some idea of this, and they all know that it is best not to let these causes and effects get entangled easily.
But as a group of intelligent people, can it be avoided?
Being alone can indeed give you the greatest peace, but it also makes you have to rely on yourself.
Is this really good for your practice?
Who doesn't know that discussion is the best communication? Who doesn't know that the growth of knowledge brought about by communication is the best?
Otherwise, there would not be so many discussion forums on the monster battlefield, nor would more people be attracted here.
They may not all be here for this, but when they are, it's impossible to stay out of it.
Just like those powerful people in the prehistoric world, they all know that the more they come into contact with the outside world, the greater the number of causal entanglements. But is it not necessary to know this?
Even if we know that the next disaster is about to begin, these causes and effects must be cleared up, shouldn't we do the same thing?”
Since it is unavoidable, the best way is to improve your cultivation level. Even if it is improved a little, when the catastrophe occurs in the future, won't the chance of surviving it increase by one point?
There is no way to achieve both ends, at least it is not possible here.
Even if your combat power has reached the top, such as the saints of the prehistoric world.
When the Yin and Shang Dynasties were enthroning gods, didn't the Three Qing Dynasties also have to join the world and participate in it?
This is the most terrifying part of the law of cause and effect! No one who enters it can escape.
What's even more terrifying is that you often don't know how you are contaminated with cause and effect.
It is different from currency, and it is not money. It is impossible to form a truly accurate data when it is exchanged.
Of course, there is no such thing as being loaned or mortgaged.
It is colorless and intangible, but it actually exists between heaven and earth, in any of the heavens and the world.
It also has many similarities with currency. If you borrow something, you must pay it back, otherwise you will be forced to recycle it.
Don't think that debts will be canceled when a person dies. Sometimes this is not the case. When you die, the karma that others owe you will not disappear together. If you still have direct relatives alive, there is a high probability that this karma will fall on you. On the direct line.
This can be regarded as a different kind of blessing, of course, but it is not inevitable.
The Dao in it is so complicated that even Liu Hao can only be regarded as a middle school student.
He didn't know whether the saint was definitely proficient in this, but the saint's mastery of this must be at a higher level. The reason why the two of them, who led the world in ancient times, calculated step by step to make Western Buddhism flourish, could account for some of the factors. Most of it.
At first, there were really only three or two big cats and kittens, but what about now?
In the entire prehistoric world, which sect exceeds Lingshan Buddhism in terms of population?
From this perspective, Buddhism is indeed the most advanced sect in its use of the law of cause and effect.
It's just that in many cases success is the same and failure is the same.
In today's prehistoric world, after Buddhism reached its peak, isn't it also facing signs of decline?
It was coming, but there was nothing they could do about it. Both Lian Yin and Zhunti could only watch helplessly.
The demonic way that came from the ancient world and the underworld manifested in the world. A mere Wutian Buddha led Zhunti and the two to really risk their lives. Isn't it easy to capture them?
But do people dare to do this?
When the cause and effect of heaven and earth begins to settle, it is not possible to truly eliminate it just by extinguishing a certain source. There are ways in the world to create an enemy again, and there are ways to make you suffer bad luck without even realizing it.
Rather than letting that completely difficult-to-see scene happen again and again, it is better to let the enemy be completely placed in front of you, so that you can think of many countermeasures. This is what the two saints are thinking.
Even though I know that Wutian Buddha was born just for Buddhism, I pretend not to know and just let you toss it.
In the plot, there are so many Buddhists who simply surrender and join Wutian Buddha. Is there no hint to lead Zhunti and the two?
Just like the various struggles of middle-level personnel, the upper-level leaders are fully aware of this, but they do not want these middle-level struggles to spread to the bottom, because once this happens, the entire company's operations will really come to an end.
As the only member of the board of directors of the Buddhist sect in the prehistoric world, how could Jieyin Zhunti not know that the most ideal situation is for many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in Lingshan to compete with each other? Even if some of them fall because of this, it is better than the entire Buddhist sect being buried with them, right?
They seem to have told the middle- and lower-level Buddhist disciples a long time ago that such disputes have nothing to do with you. You can just follow the footsteps of whoever gets the power. The board of directors will not care about anything else. I blame you for this because it really has nothing to do with you.
The board of directors understands them so well, and breaks it off with you to analyze the reasons, and clearly tells you that you are not qualified to participate at all, and you are not qualified to stand in the team at all. If you still participate, then no one is to blame.
You may also want to speculate, such as sticking to past perceptions and insisting that you belong to the Tathagata's side.
Indeed, such a choice is likely to benefit you a lot when you return in the future, but you must also admit that this gamble will probably ruin everything you own, including status and life.
Whether it's worth it or not depends on you.
Don't think that those who take such a gamble are sincerely on the Tathagata's side.
Many Buddhist monks on Lingshan simply know that they cannot avoid the great tribulation, because they are entangled with too many causes and effects. No matter which side they are on, it is impossible to escape, and they must fall into the world of mortals to be reckoned with. .
In other words, no matter which side you choose, fighting with others is extremely avoidable. It is true that if you are not careful, you will become gray.
Instead of doing this, it is better to choose a side resolutely, so that you can still have some care and someone can block some harm for you.
Don't equate the cognition of monks with the cognition of mortals. Many times they are not on the same channel at all.
For example, loyalty, in the mortal world, no matter how they appear, once it appears, this loyalty will often follow them for a lifetime, and even be regarded as a belief by them.
But in the eyes of the monks, even if loyalty appears, it is often temporary.
For example, during this period of time, I followed you in the battle and was 'conquered' by your leadership. I felt loyal in my heart. Sometimes when I saw you in danger, it was not impossible to block the knife for you.
But this loyalty often disappears when we are separated from you.
At this time, the monk will only think that he owes you a cause and effect. The size of this cause and effect is calculated based on the amount of benefits the monk has gained along the way and whether he was saved by you in the battle.
It could be big, it could be tiny.
Some monks may even think that they do not owe you, but that you owe them.
But no matter what, the original loyalty along the way has indeed disappeared without a trace. When I see you again, if this monk comes with an attitude opposite to yours, your first thought will definitely be to take this opportunity to give you the karma you owe. repaid.
For example, if you see that your side is powerful and defeat the opponent, you choose to release the opponent and bypass the opponent's life, thus completely repaying the karma you originally owed.
At this time, it is very interesting. Most of the teams you are in are willing to help. They are all monks. How could you not know that failure to repay karma may affect your future practice?
It's just a matter of convenience. Besides, it's not that the monk you let go can't be chased and killed. It's just whether your side thinks it's necessary. When it comes to a life-and-death struggle between the two forces, what can't you do?
If you can really kill the other party's clan, it is not impossible for this cause and effect to disappear completely.
You can also simply pretend not to know the other person and watch the other person be killed neatly.
But you must also be prepared for the inescapable horror when the karma is reckoned with in the future and when the catastrophe comes.
Many monks will actually make this last choice. They all know that the future is the future. If you can't get through the present, how can you talk about the future?
In the prehistoric world of Lingshan Buddhism, there are countless people who have made this choice in the past.
These Buddhist disciples all know that even if they ignore the struggle between the Tathagata and Wutian at the top, and even if they huddle in the spiritual mountain and recite sutras every day, they will not be able to escape the catastrophe.
Perhaps one day when the Buddha Wutian who replaced the Tathagata was fighting with others, a sneeze fell, and the cave you were in collapsed. You happened to be practicing, and you were interrupted and vomited blood, and even died because of it. He died inexplicably.
If this thing of cause and effect can be avoided, what is there to be afraid of?
If a person sits at home, disaster will come from the sky. This saying has lasted for many years and has been passed down to this day. Doesn't it already explain the problem?
What is a great calamity? Isn't it just that there are too many entanglements of cause and effect and it needs to be cleaned up?
If you, a group of people entangled in cause and effect, can still escape, how will I lose face during the great calamity?
Didn't I come out just to drag you people into the fight?
Do you think he is the real protagonist of the catastrophe, and can he let you escape?
On the contrary, all kinds of disasters will still come to you because of your escape.
For example, when the Yin and Shang Dynasties were conferring gods, Empress Shiji was really sitting in the dojo at home, and her children were happily planting medicinal materials under their tents. Who knew that the arrows shot by Nezha would just hit him? Will you shoot him to death simply and neatly?
You might say that since you clearly know about the great calamity, Empress Shiji might as well just endure it and pretend not to know.
But is it possible?
Once again, there will definitely be a second time. Who can guarantee whether Nezha's next arrow will land directly on your head?
Maybe next time a meteorite will happen to fall into your dojo?
Your only choice is to face the difficulty. Of course, it doesn't mean that you just go up like Empress Shiji and talk about friendship with the Taiyi master. This is not neat and tidy. Is life and death within it?
When Master Taiyi saw you coming, he had already prepared a way to die for you. He might have been planning on you for a long time and laid this trap for your life.
During the whole process, Empress Shi Ji died in such a confused way that she didn't even remember the meaning of the instructions given to them by their teacher, Master Tongtian, until she died.
Of course, we can't blame her too much. How could she have no idea about them when the great catastrophe happened in the past?
After the Yin and Shang Dynasties became gods this time, which monk would be as stupid as Empress Shiji at that time?
Who is not watching the catastrophe coming? Even the friends who were as strong as old iron in the past will lose three points.
Aren't all the things that happened in the Yin and Shang Dynasties the best teaching materials for those who come after them?
If you look at the subsequent Journey to the West, all parties might as well have started negotiating before the premonition came, and planned all possibilities as if it were just a game.
If Liu Hao had not entered the ancient times, would Journey to the West still be the same as what is recorded in the books?
Don't think that the way of cause and effect is something that the big sects and sects don't teach.
