Selecting external assistants.
Just like the “Tower of Heaven” uses this opportunity to scrutinize outside Mages seeking to join them, the other three factions also utilize the event to recruit new talent. Each faction, however, has its focus: for instance, the “Tower of Heaven” only selects Mages, whereas the “Sanctuary of Reflection” favors Paladins and Clerics. The “Fire Dragon Brigade” tends to champion warrior adventurers, and as for the “Libra Chamber”… well, it is said they welcome all comers, as long as one meets their standards.
Of course, what the Libra Chamber's standards are, only they know.
These outsiders are also assigned numbers and then distributed among the various factions' quarters to await the arrival of their peers.
Of course, this depends on the situation, such as teams lacking Mages–they would come to the Tower of Heaven to select candidates.
