Unlike other Dragon Races, the Time Dragon had a significant characteristic or, should we say, problem–that is, their connection with time was very faint.
This made the Time Dragon the only Giant Dragon among all Dragon Races that wouldn't be killed by time; they would only continue to grow without ever succumbing to the ravages of aging and death. Since the Time Dragon itself was not bound by time, it didn't need to be affected by time like other dragons.
That's also why the Time Dragon needed to devour and plunder time to conduct a “Top-up Ten-Pull” for random growth. They couldn't mature in an orderly manner because the Power of Time simply couldn't act upon them. That is why they required such a method to make themselves “temporarily” overlap with time to achieve growth.

To draw an analogy, if time was a massive stone, humans would want to hoist it or flip it over. They would need a lot of precision tools and use gears and conveyor belts to make sure they could lift the stone without fail and not get hurt–that's the essence of Prophecy Spells.
But for Fang Zheng, as someone with the bloodline of the Time Dragon, he only needed to reach out his hand to flip that stone over. However, precisely because this power was too strong, Fang Zheng completely lost the ability to release Prophecy Spells as he used to. However, he couldn't cast Prophecy Spells normally like humans; instead, drawing on the power and knowledge within his bloodline, Fang Zheng classified his control over Prophecy Spells into two types.
Enhancement and Release.
Enhancement types of spells, simply put, were many of the internally effective spells within the Prophecy System, such as “Arcane Sight,” “True Knowledge Technique,” “High-Level Detection,” which essentially utilize magical power to “acquire” the force of time to see through and sense. But now, Fang Zheng, with his Time Dragon bloodline and time manipulation abilities from “Edge of Tomorrow,” didn't need to hassle with Spell Text to channel Magic Power and create the effect anymore. Instead, he could directly simulate the Power of Time to produce similar spell effects.
This meant that those enhancement-class spells that used to affect the Caster themselves, which needed to be cast before release, were now constantly present within Fang Zheng; he didn't have to recite Spell Text, all it took was a glance, a thought, and these spell effects would immediately take effect.
Unfortunately, because Fang Zheng had only just begun to improve and apply them, the effects of these spells were not very distinct yet. It's like fine micro-engraving techniques that require practice to reach perfection. Just like many other spells, Fang Zheng saw a significant flaw in the Decree system. Except for the ultimate Nine Rings spell “Decree of Death,” the rest targeted individuals only, and Fang Zheng was now researching how to transform it into an areeffect spell. Additionally, another characteristic of the Decree system was that sturdy creatures could completely resist it, meaning its spells were only good for bullying the weak. For Fang Zheng, this was somewhat a lose-lose situation. Consequently, he was also referencing effects from other spells to modify his Decree spells. Although Fang Zheng wasn't planning to make them unstoppable, he at least hoped to make them somewhat affect targets even if they resisted the Decree effect…
Of course, this was a very challenging research task.

“There's a human settlement nearby?”
Seeing the vegetable garden, Fang Zheng was somewhat surprised. He hadn't expected people to be able to survive under so many Fire Dragons' watchful eyes, but thinking it over, it wasn't surprising after all–humans, well… can survive anywhere, can't they?
“Wuu wuu…”
While Fang Zheng was circling in the air, a vehicle suddenly appeared from a distant road. It carried three or four people wrapped in shabby, dirty coats, covering their entire bodies. They drove up to the vegetable garden, and before the driver even stopped the car, the others jumped out with a sack and hurriedly rushed toward the garden.
“Are these people here to pick the fruits?”
Fang Zheng watched with a hint of confusion, noticing that the garden's fruits were not fully ripe. Were these people so hungry that they had become undiscriminating?

Watching the two stubborn men and others who hurriedly joined them, Fang Zheng became even more curious. He had initially thought it was a robbery, but it quickly became apparent that these two groups were together, possibly divided over some issue.
“Whoosh–!”
Just as Fang Zheng was about to go down and see what was going on, he suddenly felt a rush of wind below him, and then saw a Fire Dragon rapidly approaching the field.
“Aooo———-!!”
On hearing the Fire Dragon's roar, the two groups, almost at blows, hurriedly reacted. They turned and ran towards their cars. But with just a few beats of its wings, the Fire Dragon was upon them, and with a breath of flame, it engulfed their vehicles in a relentless inferno.
It seems these humans are in trouble again.
