“Anyway, you've already taken care of your business on the bed!” Beiming Han's voice was indifferent, like he was a mind reader.
He finished his business and turned to leave the bathroom.
Gu Qingxin was entirely petrified at that moment, what did he mean she took care of her business on the bed!?
“I did not wet the bed!” Gu Qingxin protested, hurriedly taking a seat on the toilet.
Why didn't she feel the urge to go anymore?
Gu Qingxin felt like crying but had no tears to shed.
In the evening, a nurse came to apply ointment to Gu Qingxin's wounds. Before she could start, Beiming Han took over the ointment and, following the nurse's instructions, carefully applied it to her burn wounds.

Beiming Han, still angry, sat on the couch and was busy with work, barely glancing at her. Occasionally, Gu Qingxin would sneak a peek at him from under the covers but found that he had no intention of paying any attention to her.

After dinner, Bai Jingqing came over to check her condition, asking her about how she was feeling. Gu Qingxin responded truthfully to every question.
“There should be no big problems. The reaction to having inhaled smoke is expected, it should improve in a few days.”
