Smith did not give chase. Brewster repeatedly pressed the elevator button in panic.

The elevator door opened. Brewster quickly bolted in.
The door closed and he heaved a sigh. Then, he immediately called Sienna.
"Hey... Ah!!!" Before Brewster could speak properly, the elevator fell down.
"Hi, Mr. Brewster... Hello? What's wrong?"
