Coincidence Or Fate 2 Chapter 2 - Past is Pas

I opened up the laptop to play one of my favorite korean show. As I watch the show, eat my food and laugh at the content of the show deep inside I was unhappy that my life is life this. I was living a great life before but now everything are gone. As soon as I finished my food I took a quick shower and went back to my bed.

Its already been 2 months since my ex has cheated on me. Despite him telling me he'll stay single I know it all bullsh*t. So after a long time I opened my account and saw a message from a friend that the b*tch that stole my man counted having a disgusting relationship with my ex and they had the full support of there workmates. So I replied to my friends message as I saw all the picture she send me about my ex.

[I see he does not regret anything at all]

[I know right... Gosh, the scan of there team are just amazing.] she replied.

[What am I gonna do, I still believe in him and wish he'll return. Despite all of this I wish for him to comeback. We been together for years was it not worth it?]

[Ange forget about him, there are so many fish in the sea. You are too beautiful to waste you time on him.]

What Em said was true, I was too beauty to be with him. He was not attractive at all not was he tall and appealing. I only like him because with all the guys that courted me, he showed the most effort in the end.

[But its so hard to get over.]

Before I was about to log out I received another message from a friend.

[Ange long time no speak, how are you? Can't believe he did that to you. But forget about him. Anyways, are you free? Let have coffee sometime. I've miss you already.]

I was shocked to see the message, it was my friend King. During my relationship with all my exes he was the one who was beside me during my journeys. He also knew all the guys I've dated and he knew all of them were jerks but kept quite to himself.

[King I've missed you too. Sure, I'll message Ma first to see if she good with it. I'll text you if I'll go to the city then. ♡]

[Okay, sure... Tell Auntie I said Hi. Message me okay? Bye see you soon]

[Sure thing, Bye]

I logout of my account and opened another SNS account with is only friends with Ma. Before I called here I checked with google to see what time it is there then I called her.

"Ma, how ya?"

"I'm good, just got back from work."

"Oh, okay... Anyways, King said Hi, also I planned to meet King tomorrow is it okay."

"Oh, thats good King contacted you. Sure, good ahead. Its time for you to let go of the past and start new anyways."

"Hmmm, yeah... sure... okay bye!"

"bye!"

After I ended the call with Ma I prepared all my thing for tomorrow since I know I wont be able to sleep tonight and will only get some sleep on the way to the City. Late that night me and my brother started playing games all night. Both of us were just in chill life for now. Me being jobless and was unable to finish university while my brother laziness and did not complete his training. But despite all of that Ma and grandmother did not let us go and still supported us.

The next day

I was already on the bus and was feeling sleepy already. I only slept for 3 hours before getting up. I sat comfortably and relax my self to sleep. Since its a 2 hours journey to the city.

After 2 hours I arrived in the city. I was suppose to meet King in a coffee shop. Since he still has work I arrived at the coffee shop 30 minutes early. Since I was hungry and haven't had breakfast nor lunch. I order a cold choco and sandwich to eat. Then I sent a message to King informing him I was there already.

30 minutes later

[OMW ^-^]

I received a message from King and did not bother to reply. I ordered another cold choco to drink since I was really dehydrated today and hot even though the air condition was in front of me.

What the heck. I said to myself. I laughed to myself and run outside to great him as I hugged him tightly.

"King, I've missed you. King... It... hurts... I... I... was..." I could not longer finish telling him how I felt. In the end tears were falling down my face. As he embrace me tightly to avoid people from seeing my crying face.

"Come on, that enough... You've cried for weeks for him and now your crying for him again."

"I know, I'm sorry... anyways, let gets inside."

As we enter the shop and went back to were I was sat. Before I could sat down he gave me a tissue to wipe my teary eye.

"Thanks"

"Have you ordered?"

"Yeah, I've eaten as well."

"Okay, wait here I'll just order a drink."

When he returned with his hot coffee and sat down. He looked at me and smiled. He pinch my checks so hard the I wish to punch him.

"You've change..."

"Huh? I'm still me."

"You've really change a lot."

"How come, I know I've lost weight since I did starve myself almost to death because of him and I don't get enough sleep but apart from that nothing change. I'm still me." I said to him while giving him a big cheerful smile.

"Even your smile has change."

"Oh..."

"Its fine, I know one days you'll be fine."

"But I'm fine already..."

"Don't lie to me or lie to yourself. Your not fine..."

"It hurts but I'm alright now, I've accepted what happened between us. It's all my fault for taking him for granted."

He hit my head and frowned at me.

"You didn't he did..." he said as he sat back and scratch his head. "How many times have he lied to you and forgiven him. Yet in the end you forgive him and that bastard still choice to be with the b*tch."

"Hey, watch your mouth. There are people around us."

"Whatever, all I can say is he was never good enough for you."

" I know..."

"Anyways, forget about him his your past."

As we continued to quarrel about my ex and enough the comfort of each other. That we didn't notice the time it was almost getting late and I still need to travel home. I arrived pretty late and when I got home and phone was finally connected back to wifi, I received a message from Ma.

[Did you see King? How was it?]

[Hi, Ma... I'm good yeah. Just got back home.]

[Good your home.]

[Hmmm...]

[Whats wrong?]

[Nothing, I feel like the world is against me.]

[Honey, the world is not against you. Always remember that were here for you.]

[I know...]

As I continued messaging with my mother. I started crying and feeling burdened within me. We talked about the pain my family has done and now the man I loved did this to me. All this past years has just been so painful. I felt like life has been so cruel to me and I just wish everything to end. I did not want the life I'm living anymore. But then the words my mother said change brought light to me.

[Honey, past is past. Move on already, live life the way you want it to be... Keep moving forward with your life. Its your life not theres to control. I gave you and your brother freedom to do what you want for I want you to be happy. Since I am still able to support you. Go and do what you want. Let go of all the pain and nightmare that are killing you inside. Come on, you are still young and you need to live. I gave life for you not to be in pain but for you to be happy.]

After our long conversation and I was exhausted from the travel and all the crying. I lay down my bed and keep repeating the words everyone has told me this past few day. 'Past is past' 'move on' 'keep moving forward' 'it your life' then it hit me so badly that tears were falling down my face again. They did not fool me at all I was the fool. I was a fool to change who I was for them and I was a fool to be controlled by them. From now on, I'll live my life the way I want it to be.
