Chapter two

It didn't take long for Alex to arrange his books beside mine. I looked at him and a lot of questions kept on coming to me.

" Are you going to keep on staring clumsy"He said still facing the board. I quickly put my self together and started focusing on the board .

(IN THE CAFETERIA)

Mitchell asked me what was wrong with me and I told her. And she laughed......(sigh) just as I expected.

"Its not funny. You know what.... I will just pretend as if I hadn't seen him before now." I said not to Mitchell but to my self. I didn't have appetite so I just ordered mini fries with spice paste and my favorite juice box.

I finished eating , left Mitchell and went to the class to read because there was still much time remaining for break and the library was filled up. I was reading when Alex walked in. I pretended not to see him and kept on reading.

"Now that we are alone don't you want to stare at me clumsy" he said with a cunning  smile. I was both angry and embarrassed.

"First of all my name is not clumsy ,its Lisa.. Lisa Merssler." I said

"And secondly?" He asked me and I felt like throwing my shoes at him.

"Secondly i have no interest in staring at you"I said and quickly buried my head in my book.

"But you looked so interested in looking at me earlier." He said and I felt  my blood boiling .

Luckily the Mitchell walked in .She sat on the chair in front of us and the Alex went quiet for the whole day.
