In the pitch-black consciousness space, a pair of burning golden eyes slowly opened.
"What do you want?" asked a cold voice.
Jaden replied matter-of-factly, "I need your help, of course."
The voice said, "You're joking."
Jaden said, "How could I be? I'm currently in a crucial duel. My opponent was once my most important friend, but now she's under the control of evil forces. To help her break free, I need your power."
The voice said, "Are you insane? The only reason I'm here is because I was caught off guard and betrayed by you in our previous duel. You want my power, and I want your body. If you let your guard down, I'll take your body, your life, and everything you have, once again."
Jaden smiled and said, "If you really want that, why haven't you made a move after being in my body for so long?"
". . ."
Jaden's smile faded, and he spoke earnestly, "I am you, and you are me, Overlord. Perhaps we haven't fully understood each other yet, but I trust you."
Overlord: ". . ."
Trust?
A moment of silence followed.
Jaden slowly stood up, opening his eyes, which now bore the burning golden irises.
"Thank you, the other me within me," Jaden smiled.
Overlord's cold voice echoed in his ear, "Don't misunderstand. I'm not moved by your naive words. I just want to see how much this guy, who dares to call himself a Demonic Deity, is capable of."
"Ahaha, if you say so, then that's what it is," Jaden laughed.
Jaden smiled, then turned serious.
"Let's do this, my other self."
Overlord coldly replied, "Don't call me that. We're not that close."
Yuubel also sensed the change in Jaden's aura, her expression shifting slightly. "Those eyes, this power... Overlord?"
In her heart, a mix of surprise and delight emerged. The surprise stemmed from the realization that Jounouchi had awakened and seemed to have gained control over the power of the Emperor, making him even more formidable. The delight, however, came from the growing resemblance between Jounouchi and the prince from her past life, filling her with a sense of elation.
"My turn, draw!" Jounouchi declared, drawing a card with a newfound vigor as the power of the Emperor surged through him.
"I activate the Spell Card, 'Treasure Drop.' Both players draw cards until they have six cards in their hand." Jounouchi drew again, swiftly playing his hand. The Spell Card materialized behind him, and a dark cyclone erupted from the card projection.
"Spell Card, 'Dark Contract Fusion'!" Jounouchi announced. "A Fusion Spell exclusive to Fiend-Type monsters. By sending Fusion Material Monsters from the hand or field to the Graveyard, I can Fusion Summon a Fiend-Type Fusion Monster.
I send 'Magnet Warrior Berserkion' and 'Evil HERO Infernal Gainer' from my hand to the Graveyard to perform a Dark Fusion Summon!"
The Rock-Type Magnet Warrior and the Fiend-Type Infernal Gainer briefly appeared on the field, only to be engulfed by the dark vortex, as if tossed into a massive blender. From the swirling darkness, a powerful force emerged, transforming into a bolt of lightning that struck the ground, giving birth to a towering white demon.
"Evil HERO Dark Gaia, Fusion Summon!" Jounouchi declared.
"The attack power of Evil HERO Dark Gaia becomes the combined attack power of the Fusion Materials used." Jounouchi explained. "Magnet Warrior Berserkion has an attack power of 3500, and Evil HERO Infernal Gainer has an attack power of 2600.

Yu Bei Er's expression shifted, "An attack power of 6100?"

The fire dragons merged into a massive fireball, radiating intense heat that made Dark Gaia's figure appear distorted and ethereal.
"The power of the Emperor is indeed formidable," Yu Bei Er acknowledged, "but to defeat a Yeshen, relying solely on sheer attack power might not be enough.

When an opponent's monster declares an attack, destroy all Attack Position monsters your opponent controls!"
A sacred blue hemispherical barrier appeared in front of the Yeshen, ready to reflect the attack back at Dark Gaia.
But it was futile! Dark Gaia's right palm unleashed a burst of lava, hurling it towards the Yeshen. The supposedly impenetrable shield, touted as the strongest defense, was nothing more than paper-thin before Dark Gaia's might.
"Useless," the Emperor's cold voice echoed. "A monster summoned using the power of 'Dark Contract' cannot be destroyed by card effects this turn." (Original effect)
