The Dragon of Extreme Sorrow, Youbei Er, descends!
As this card is summoned, dark lightning streaks across the sky. Thunder roars, and a writhing lightning dragon howls in the rain, its cry echoing mournfully.
A colossal and terrifying dragon slowly appears on the field. Its head sways gently, while Youbei's upper body has merged into the dragon, as if becoming one with its massive form.
When she speaks again, her voice takes on a deep, hoarse tone, overshadowing her feminine voice, which seems on the verge of fading away.
"No one understands, no one cares, only endless, hollow darkness remains! This is what I've become, Jou!"
Jou sighs softly, "You've endured so much over the years, Youbei. But your journey of loneliness and sorrow ends today. I promise."
Jou inserts a card from his hand into the Duel Disk.
"I activate the Spell Card, 'Foolish Burial,' sending any monster from my Deck to the Graveyard. I send the 'Elemental Hero: Neos,' which I just contacted for Fusion, back to the Deck."
Youbei protests, "Neos, again? How obsessed are you with this monster? I was here first!"
Jou slowly draws a card from his hand and holds it above his head. The card communicates with the Neo Space power, and a brilliant seven-colored rainbow of light bursts forth.
"I activate the Spell Card, 'Miracle Contact'!" Jou declares.
"This card allows me to return Fusion Materials for a Neos Fusion Monster from the field or Graveyard to the Deck to perform a Fusion Summon!"
Youbei asks, "Fusion from the Graveyard?"
"Indeed," Jou replies, "I return 'Elemental Hero: Neos' from the field, 'Neo Space Panzer Dark Panther' from the Graveyard, and the original 'Neo Space Panzer Gleam Moss' sent to the Graveyard by 'Transformation Contact,' back to the Deck!
"Triple Contact Fusion!"
Neos extends his arms, and golden light erupts from the blue crystal on his chest, quickly enveloping his entire body.
Dark Panther and Gleam Moss, one on each side, transform into two overlapping orbs of dual-colored light, adding their power to Neos. The three forces merge, and Neos's body rapidly grows taller in the radiant light. Sacred stripes are imprinted on him, transforming his body into a dark figure with a billowing cloak.
"Chaos power, turning darkness into light—
—Elemental Hero: Chaos Neos!"
Jou raises his right fist to the sky, and the upgraded Neos, transformed by the triple fusion, descends amidst the chaos storm!

Chaos Neos, perhaps the most divergent of the Neos Fusion Monsters between the anime and the physical card game. The physical card version of Chaos Neos gains different effects based on the number of heads obtained from tossing a coin three times.
One head: All monsters on the controller's field are returned to the hand, a purely negative effect.
Two heads: All effects of the opponent's monsters on the field are negated.
Three heads: All monsters on the opponent's field are destroyed.
The anime effect, however, is much simpler, with no coin-tossing mechanics. It's straightforward, with just one effect.
"Effect of Elemental Hero: Chaos Neos!" Jou announces, "All face-up monsters on the opponent's field have their effects negated for this turn!"
Youbei exclaims, "What?!"
Another counter ability!
Youbei's final form not only inherits her previous effects, such as battle destruction immunity and damage reflection, but also gains the ability to send battled monsters to the Graveyard.
But if all these effects were nullified, the so-called final form would merely be a blank slate of the Twelve Stars.
"Next, I activate the Field Spell, Neo Space!"
As the field card was inserted into the side wing of Jou's Duel Disk, a field of light filled with a seven-colored aurora immediately covered the entire arena. An invisible force seemed to continuously charge into Chaos Neos within the surrounding space, and Neos was once again enveloped in a golden aura, enhancing his power.
"Neo Space increases the Attack of Neos or Neo-Fusion Monsters by 500!"

"It's the Battle Phase!" Jou declared, "With this one strike, I'll shatter all your darkness and loneliness! Chaos Neos, attack 'Youbel - Dragon of Extreme Sorrow'!"
Chaos Neos rose into the air within the Neo Space filled with aurora, and the power of light and darkness converged in his palm, swirling like a storm. The energy storm transformed into a chaotic orb of light, and with a single palm strike, Neos unleashed an unstoppable force towards the dragon, blasting it.
"Come, Youbel," Jou said gently, extending his hand towards her, "It's enough. Your solitary journey has come to an end. There's no need to continue fighting anymore."
Youbel was dazed, and her eyes wavered. As the chaotic light orb flew towards her, she seemed to see the prince of her past life in that radiance, the boy she had sworn to protect at all costs, running towards her with a brilliant smile on his face.
"Jou."
Youbel subconsciously reached out to take his hand.
But at that moment, a sudden jolt of pain coursed through her body, as if all the pain and torment she had endured over the years were amplified several times over, overwhelming her heart. The darkness within her erupted, nearly shattering her sanity, and ultimately, it all transformed into an impulse for destruction.
"Ahhhhhh!"
Boom!
Chaos Neos struck, piercing the dragon's body and leaving a chilling void. The dragon's body began to shatter from that void, and in just two seconds, cracks spread across its entire body until it crumbled like a shattered sculpture, scattering across the ground.
The blast of energy was so powerful that even Jou on the opposite side had to raise his hand to block it, and the flames and smoke almost engulfed Youbel's field.
However, after Chaos Neos landed the blow, he remained vigilant upon returning to Jou's field, warning in a deep voice, "Be careful, Jou. She hasn't lost yet, and her aura has become even more dangerous."
Jou: "Youbel..."
The smoke gradually dissipated, and the Dragon of Extreme Sorrow was already reduced to dust under the chaotic cyclone. Youbel also returned to her initial form from the first stage, moving from the dragon's body back to her Duelist position.
But her eyes seemed even colder than they were at the beginning.
On her field, although the three-stage dragon was gone, three bizarre flowers had appeared, resembling carnivorous plants from the underworld.
