Chapter 950: Tina's Arrival in the Town
Chapter 950: Tina's Arrival in the Town
Manina was overjoyed by Cindy Doppler's and her group's admission of guilt. Now, with no opposition in the public sphere, the United Government could focus on the impending battle without any distractions. They were free to prepare for the war with all their might!
However, just as he was basking in this newfound peace, Manina sensed a familiar spatial fluctuation emanating from the outer layers of the Skrull planet. This fluctuation was all too familiar, occurring once a month, and always at this time.
The appearance of this spatial fluctuation meant one thing: the Blue Star humans were here again. Each month, a group of powerful Blue Star humans visited the Skrull planet. Who would they send this time?
With this thought, Manina immediately ordered AI Sunshine to contact the Minister of Intelligence, Seon.
As soon as the voice call connected, Manina instructed, "Seon, the Blue Star humans have arrived on our planet once more. Keep a close eye on any relevant intelligence and report any unusual situations to me immediately!"
"Understood!" Seon quickly responded over the video call.
Manina nodded, preparing to end the call. But just then, Seon's expression changed dramatically.
It seemed he had received some critical information. He immediately relayed it to Manina over the video call, "Your Majesty, urgent news! According to reports from the Yangquan region, a high-powered individual has suddenly appeared in Yangquan City... It's a Blue Star human! This human must have just been teleported to our planet, landing in a small town."
"What?!" Manina's face darkened.
A Blue Star human teleported into a small town? This was not what he had expected!
During the last visit, over 30 Blue Star humans had arrived, but none of them had been teleported to Skrull human settlements. The spatial fluctuations from the previous teleportation had been concentrated and did not disperse, suggesting a unique force was gathering them to a single point. At the time, several god-level experts had theorized that the Blue Star humans had developed a fixed-point teleportation ability, allowing them to send all teleportees to a specific location, rather than the dangerous random teleportation of the past.
This theory had been widely accepted among the cultivation community. The only regret was that the fixed-point teleportation location had never been found.
Manina had assumed that this visit would also involve fixed-point teleportation, but now, a Blue Star human had been teleported to a small town. This had to be random teleportation, right?
But hadn't the Blue Star humans already mastered fixed-point teleportation? Why would they resort to random teleportation? Was their fixed-point teleportation ability still in its early stages? Or could it only be used once? Or perhaps they didn't have this ability at all?
...
While Manina was lost in thought, Seon sent over video footage of the incident location.
AI Sunshine immediately enlarged the video, displaying it before the Emperor.
In the center of the video, a small town street was visible. Standing in the middle of the street was a human girl, approximately 1.7 meters tall, clad in golden armor. Around her, the Skrull people were fleeing in panic.
This Blue Star human girl was none other than Tina.
Tina hadn't used the "Moonlight Positioning Stone" and had been randomly teleported to this town's street. However, she had taken a "Mental Stability Potion" before arriving, so she didn't experience any dizziness or other abnormal conditions.
Upon her arrival, Tina curiously observed her surroundings, taking in the unfamiliar world.
Tina looked up at the sky, where the small town's heavens were clear of any clouds.
On Skrull, just like on Earth, the sky was a deep azure. However, the town's sky had a subtle touch of purple. This faint purple hue was a chaotic, violent form of psychic energy that had flooded the world after the floating island was destroyed by Su Yu.
It had been several months since the floating island's destruction, and the once-overwhelming purple had largely dissipated. Still, a faint trace remained in the sky, a reminder of the cataclysmic event.
After taking in the sky, Tina glanced around the street. She was standing on a road not far from the town center, where several towering skyscrapers, some with dozens or even hundreds of floors, dominated the skyline. The surrounding buildings, typically three to four dozen stories high, had a sleek, futuristic look, appearing far more advanced than structures on Earth.
Scattered among the buildings were the green-skinned Skrulls, fleeing in panic. Seeing Tina suddenly appear and recognizing her human-like appearance, the nearby Skrull residents immediately screamed and scattered, leaving chaos in their wake.
Tina had seen many Skrulls in the Earth prisoner camps, so she wasn't particularly interested in them. Time was of the essence.
She quickly pulled out a Skrull-made smartphone and connected to the internet. Checking the map, she immediately knew her location: a small town 22 kilometers southeast of Yangquan City in the Solar Empire.
Yangquan City was a major metropolis in the southwest of the Solar Empire, one of the most powerful cities in the nation, and its overall strength had once ranked among the top ten.
Seeing that Yangquan City was so close, Tina immediately set her goal—head to Yangquan City!
Without hesitation, she transformed into a golden light and shot off in the direction of Yangquan City.
...
Before being randomly teleported to Skrull, Tina, Alia, and the cat Morning Star had discussed the possibility of "random teleportation" extensively.
The scenario of being teleported to a Skrull settlement had certainly been part of their discussions. Tina's current situation in this small town was indeed quite dangerous!
While it was true that Tina could resurrect, and the Skrulls were likely aware of this ability, the real issue was the potential for a god-tier Skrull to quickly arrive and kill her. If that happened, the Skrulls wouldn't suffer much of a loss.
Tina was currently at level 82, a mid-tier seventh-rank, having just broken through to this level.
Even without considering a peak god-tier like Plankt, a mid-tier god like Steem would be more than enough to take her down with minimal effort. Steem's power was roughly ten times hers, a gap so vast that no amount of desperation could bridge it. Challenging someone of a higher rank was simply impossible.
If she stayed, the Skrull god-tiers would undoubtedly come after her. When they killed her, the only significant loss would be the town's residents, while the Skrulls would suffer minimal consequences.
Therefore, she needed to find a large city with a high population density.
The more people, the greater the Skrull loss if they tried to kill her, making them more hesitant to act.
Fortunately, Yangquan City was nearby, so without a second thought, she flew straight toward it.
