"And what about your dog?" Kiba from the Ninja World asked curiously.

"Hmph... His name is Red God. Isn't that a cooler name than your Akamaru?" Kiba from the Empire replied proudly.

The two versions of Shikamaru looked at each other and smiled, nodding in acknowledgment.

"Wow, my counterpart from another world looks a bit thin. Don't you get enough to eat usually?" The towering Chouji from the Empire, standing at 6 feet tall and covered in layers of fat, teased his counterpart from the Ninja World.

"I... I eat a lot already..." Chouji from the Ninja World replied shyly.

Among the Konoha villagers, many struck up friendly conversations with their counterparts from the Empire.

Seeing this, Shikaku smiled slightly and made his way towards the front of the group, where Tsunade was standing. "Welcome back, Hokage-sama," he greeted her.

His eyes then shifted to the impassive figures of Itachi and Kakashi from the Empire, the furious-looking Sasori, the curious-looking Hiruzen, Killer B, Kisame, Deidara, and Gaara, who were also from the Empire.

"Ah... I'm back. Let's head to the conference room. I have important matters to announce, and we also need to figure out a way to bring back Naruto," Tsunade nodded and smiled, preparing to lead the group from the Empire into Konoha.
