Despite defeating the opponent's monster, T's Monster Zone sprouted with new life, causing a slight change in his expression as he wondered about this strange occurrence.
"The Continuous Trap Card 'Cursed Ivy' has another effect," You Xuan explained. "When this card is sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon two 'Ivy Tokens' in Defense Position on your opponent's field."
"Furthermore, when these Special Summoned Ivy Tokens are destroyed, their controller takes 300 points of damage."
T glanced disdainfully at the small plants that had taken root on his field. Two tiny plants stood crookedly, each with three lonely green leaves resembling a type of clover.

"You've left these unnecessary monsters on my field," T huffed. "I'll set a card and end my turn."
With a wave of his hand, T set a card face-down, concluding his turn.
"My turn, draw!" You Xuan declared, drawing a card.
He held up a magic card between his fingers.
"I activate the Spell Card 'Reverse Circlet.' When there's a Special Summoned monster on your opponent's field and no monsters on your field, draw 2 cards from your Deck." (Original Card)
You Xuan drew two cards, glanced at them, and instead of adding them to his hand, he immediately revealed one of them.
"I activate the Spell Card 'Burial Ritual Circlet.' By removing three Spell Cards from the Graveyard, you can draw two cards from your Deck."
"I remove the Spell Cards 'Reverse Circlet,' 'Angel's Charity,' and 'Premature Burial' from the game and draw two cards."
You Xuan drew two more cards.
With his hand replenished, You Xuan proceeded to activate another Spell Card.
"I activate the Continuous Spell Card 'Tree of the World.'"
Despite being a Continuous Spell, its activation produced an effect and noise akin to a Field Spell. The entire ground beneath both players trembled as a towering ancient tree rose from the earth.
Its sturdy trunk and lush green leaves formed a vast, dark green canopy overhead, casting a large circular shadow on the ground.
"As long as the Tree of the World remains on the field, place a flower counter on this card each time a Plant-Type monster on the field is destroyed."
You Xuan didn't elaborate further, but T was already paying close attention to this colossal tree.
Although it seemed useless at the moment, this card undoubtedly served multiple purposes by accumulating counters and was likely exclusive to Plant-Type monsters. It might prove to be unexpectedly tricky.
"Additionally, the 'Carrot Man' destroyed by you last turn also has a special ability," You Xuan continued. "While Carrot Man is in the Graveyard, once per turn, by sending a Plant-Type monster from your hand or face-up on the field to the Graveyard, except 'Carrot Man,' this card can Special Summon itself from the Graveyard."
You Xuan sent a card from his hand to the Graveyard.
"I send a Plant-Type monster from my hand to the Graveyard and Special Summon 'Carrot Man' from the Graveyard!"
Although it could only be used once per turn, it granted the monster an infinite regenerative ability. The magical plant warrior with a carrot-shaped head and a body covered in carrots quickly returned to the field from the Graveyard, its carrot hands clashing together as if readying for battle.

"Hold on," You Xuan said, revealing a card from his hand.
"I activate the Equip Spell, Guardian's Strength, equipping it to Rosevine."
A faint golden energy enveloped the rose plant, forming a protective barrier around it.
"When a monster equipped with Guardian's Strength battles, it gains a magic counter," You Xuan explained, "and its ATK increases by 500 points for each counter on it. Additionally, when the equipped monster is destroyed in battle or by an effect, you can remove a magic counter from Guardian's Strength as a replacement cost."
Mr. T nodded, "So, it gains a counter with each battle and can remove a counter to avoid destruction. This way, even if its ATK is lower than King Kong's, it can still hold its ground."
"That's true," You Xuan laughed, "but I have no intention of using such a slow tactic. Rosevine's effect allows it to attack additional times during my Battle Phase if there are any face-up Plant-Type monsters on your field. It can attack twice more, in addition to its normal attack."
Mr. T furrowed his brows, "So that's why you specifically Special Summoned those Tokens on my field."
"Exactly," You Xuan confirmed, "since both of your Ivy Tokens are Plant-Type, Rosevine can attack twice more, making it a total of three attacks this turn."
"And with Guardian's Strength equipped," Mr. T continued, "its ATK increases by 500 points with each battle."
In other words, after defeating the first Ivy Token, its ATK would increase by 500. Defeating the second Token would boost its ATK by 1000. By the third attack, targeting King Kong, its ATK would rise to 3700, completely overpowering King Kong.
Additionally, destroying the Ivy Tokens would inflict 300 damage to their controller, and with two Tokens, an extra 600 damage would be dealt.
"This is indeed a formidable combination," Mr. T adjusted his glasses, "allowing multiple attacks, inflicting effect damage, and accumulating ATK for the monster while using magic counters to avoid destruction."
Mr. T pushed his glasses up and suddenly smiled.
"However, even with such a powerful combination, there are still obvious weaknesses. For instance..."
With a grand gesture, he flipped over a face-down card.
"I activate the Quick-Play Spell, Book of Total Eclipse!"
The spell resembled the Moonlight Book, but unlike the serene blue-themed Moonlight Book, this book had a red cover, depicting a sun obscured during a total eclipse.
"Book of Total Eclipse," Mr. T announced, "turn all face-up monsters on the field to face-down Defense Position! This is neither battle nor effect destruction, so Guardian's Strength cannot protect your monster from this effect.
Furthermore, when an equipped monster changes to face-down position, the corresponding equipment on the monster must be destroyed as per game rules."
He pointed at You Xuan's Equip Spell.
"Let Guardian's Strength be destroyed!"
