Chapter 943: My Nun!!
Chapter 943: My Nun!!
"You bastard!"
Charlotte·Big Mom's eyes darkened with a flash of fury. Without hesitation, she spun around, dragging Prometheus with her, and launched a blazing flame punch. Kuro barely dodged, but she seized Napoleon and struck his dodging direction with a devastating "Viguo."
Clang!
Kuro hovered high, cleaving downward with his blade. He barely blocked the shockwave when a black shadow suddenly erupted from the side.
A black thunder-charged Iron Mace swung around Kuro's sword, slamming into his body.
"Thunderous Trigrams!"
Boom!!
Kuro grunted, his force wavering as the Viguo's shockwave sent him hurtling backward, crashing into the ground ahead and carving a crater.
"Hohohoho! You let your guard down, Big Mom!" Kaido grinned, hefting his Wolf's Spirit Thundercloud toward Charlotte·Big Mom.
"Shut up!" she roared, her other hand spreading wide. "Prometheus!"
"At once, Mother!"
The flame orb in her hand surged upward, engulfing her hairpin and ribbon in flames, melting them away. Her hair danced wildly, merging with the flames, transforming into fiery tendrils!
Boom!
A deafening explosion erupted from the smoke as Kuro shot out, hovering aloft, blood trickling from his lips.
Those two attacks weren't light, but they achieved their purpose.
Kuro knew such shallow tricks wouldn't work on them anymore.
Using the White Tiger's Mystic Art was just to bait them into attacking. He lured them with Azure Dragon Rain, forced them to release sea water by wrapping it around them, then obscured their vision with Vermilion Bird.
And though he aimed at Kaido, he locked onto Big Mom instead, delivering that final slash.
The wound wasn't deep. Charlotte·Big Mom could easily heal without scarring, but for now, it was a wound!
As he surged forward, Kuro's two fingers blurred across the Yokai Blade. With a flick, the blade sliced forward.
"Telekinesis Blade, Great Mystic Art: Killing Intent Domain!"
Vroom!
A blood-red domain erupted around Kuro, swiftly engulfing the island like a hemisphere.
The suffocating Killing Intent made Kaido and Big Mom stiffen.
Can he really do this?!
Killing Intent meant little to them—since the fight began, the air had been thick with tension, each reining in their Conqueror's Haki or Killing Intent to avoid mutual interference.
But this sudden release? Was it too reckless?
What was he planning?
Kuro gazed down at Kaido and Big Mom, twisting the Yokai Blade in his hand.
Instantly, both raised their weapons to block.
Clang!
Their weapons trembled under invisible strikes, their movements briefly freezing.
"Killing Intent Domain!" Kuro's voice was icy.
"The full domain?!" Kaido narrowed his eyes.
Big Mom's expression turned grim.
Attack abilities covering the entire domain? Had they evolved this far?!
"Die!"
Kuro slashed again. In the domain, countless blood-red lights erupted around their bodies, striking Kaido and Big Mom.
"Haaah!"
As Kuro swung, Kaido's body shuddered. A black thunder-like Conqueror's Haki and Haki armor surged around him, blocking the omnipresent slashes.
Big Mom reacted swiftly too, her body enveloped in white flames laced with lightning. The blood-red lights struck her, ringing loudly.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Their bodies echoed with sharp slicing sounds. Though unharmed, the force left them momentarily paralyzed.
"Tch! Slashes infused with Killing Intent, huh?!" Kaido's grin widened as he stared at Kuro. "Impressive, Kuro!"
This technique's power was formidable, but without direct strikes, it could be blocked. However, if this dragged on, Kuro's advantage would fade.
"Hey, Kaido—remember that move?" Big Mom turned to him.
"Of course, Big Mom. I was itching to use it earlier!" Kaido's face twisted into a malevolent grin.
Both swung their weapons backward, merging Conqueror's Haki and Armored Haki, targeting Kuro in the sky.
Boom! Boom!
The heavens and earth trembled. The sea roared violently, the sheer force of their actions sending chills through the air.
"Bakegas!!!"
Kaido swung his staff, but his Haki erupted in a columnar impact, tearing open the island ahead with a massive gash, sending the Grand Line surging wildly.
But—
"Big Mom?!" Kaido turned in confusion.
That wasn't Bakegas. That was just his raw Conqueror's Haki. Charlotte·Big Mom hadn't synchronized her attack.
Meanwhile, Big Mom's face flickered with shock. Her sword had barely begun to swing when she froze halfway—without coordination, the strike was meaningless.
And—
"Unforgivable!!!"
Big Mom glared at Kuro, roaring, "You made me remember something—Kuro!!"
Kuro's lips curved into a faint smile. Softly, he replied, "Isn't that what you wanted to see most?"
Joking. Two Four Emperors were here—impossible to defeat. Prolonging the fight would only mean taking hits.
These two could seize every opening, magnifying them endlessly. What started as an even exchange would turn fatal as time stretched.
Like their earlier clash between Kuro's Viguo and Charlotte·Big Mom's slash—Kaido had captured that opening.
Two allies on the same ship? Kuro would never believe they lacked coordination. From that earlier move alone, raw power had screamed "Bakegas"—a hit like that would've ended him.
Gramps must've been injured by that very technique.
And from the moment he started with stone pillars, Kuro knew they'd unleash this move. He wasn't insane—no way would he risk a direct clash without preparation.
He'd planned this from the start—the wound, shallow but effective.
The Killing Intent seeped into her wound, but alone, it couldn't faze Big Mom. That's why he'd activated the Great Mystic Art: Killing Intent Domain.
Initially, this technique was a small domain—nothing more than a blade strike when intruders entered. Now, combined with his abilities, every slash within the domain carried Killing Intent.
By saturating the entire area with overwhelming Killing Intent, he could influence Big Mom, triggering her "Killing Intent Illusion."
He didn't know what visions she'd seen. He lacked the skill to impose controlled illusions on her—those were her own memories surfacing.
But—
Damn, she was strong. Only a fleeting impact, huh?
Big Mom's eyes turned bloodshot. Her breathing grew ragged. "You... you made me remember my nun! You damned man, why did you remind me of her?! My nun—she's mine!!"
