As Lu HaiKong backed away with Chen Ping, the light within the door shimmered, and a figure emerged from it.
Lu HaiKong stared at the person who had been teleported out, appearing as if they had been starving for several years. Their body was emaciated, almost skeletal, and their clothes were tattered and rotten, resembling a creature crawled out of hell.
The teleported person seemed dazed upon their arrival, perhaps due to the sudden nature of the teleportation. They struggled to comprehend the situation until a gentle night breeze blew past, helping them regain their senses.
Feeling the night wind against their skin and smelling the slightly musty scent of earth, the skeletal figure finally realized they had been teleported to a world full of vitality.
For a moment, a sinister smile spread across their skeletal face.
Despite their terrifying appearance, the person was in a state of euphoria. However, their external demeanor didn't convey their joy; their smile, even to Lu HaiKong, resembled a demon's grin.
As the skeletal figure rejoiced, Lu HaiKong finally reacted: "Who are you?"
Hearing Lu HaiKong's voice, the skeletal figure froze, then turned to face him. Upon seeing Lu HaiKong, their smile became even more sinister.
"Excellent! Just as I emerge, fresh blood food is presented to me. I've been starving for years, so come here, little one, and let me feast on you!"
The skeletal figure's words, accompanied by a sinister voice and an aura of extreme cruelty, made them appear like a demon descended upon the mortal realm.
Lu HaiKong's brows furrowed at the sight of the skeletal figure, dissatisfied in every way—physically and verbally.
"Aren't you coming?"
Seeing Lu HaiKong's inaction, the skeletal figure erupted in rage, unleashing a terrifying and brutally violent aura.
This aura was so intense that it seemed to darken the night sky, and the powerful lords of the north were startled, turning their attention towards the source of the disturbance. Some of them even began making their way over.
Unaware that his aura had attracted so much attention, the skeletal figure's face remained sinisterly smiling as his aura intensified.
As his aura grew more menacing, he took a step towards Lu HaiKong.
In the dim light, the skeletal figure's movement seemed to be accompanied by flickering ghosts, creating an extremely eerie scene. At least, behind Lu HaiKong, Chen Ping's expression changed.
"Interesting, very interesting. You're quite the character, little one!"
The skeletal figure took each step with a growing sinister smile, unfazed by Lu HaiKong's unwavering stance.
However, behind his sinister smile, his aura became increasingly vicious.
"You're the first one to remain so calm in my presence, but I don't like your calm expression. I prefer to see you in a state of terror... "
As the skeletal figure approached Lu HaiKong with a sinister smile, he clenched his fist, and the dragon energy within him surged. With a single punch, he interrupted the skeletal figure's words.
"Roar!"
A faint sound of a golden dragon's roar echoed, and a golden dragon seemed to flash by.
Immediately after, the skeletal figure's smile grew even more sinister as he faced Lu HaiKong. However, his facial expression was too difficult to discern, and Lu HaiKong couldn't tell if his smile was one of terror or sinister joy. Thus, he slightly increased his strength.

"A System Building Upgrade Order?" Lu HaiKong spoke as he placed the contents of the Legend-tier chest into his spatial ring. He then summoned the rewards for the 'Feudal Lords Against Dong' quest, eager to see what surprises these three rewards might bring.
