Chapter 932: My G-3 Fortress Is Gone!
Chapter 932: My G-3 Fortress Is Gone! (Extra Chapter for Patron 'Zongheng Qianzong')
A swarm of shadowy bats coalesced into Gecko Moria's body. He lifted his head toward the suffocating sky, his face frozen in stunned disbelief.
For a moment, he seemed to regress to his youthful self from twenty years ago—once again the wide-eyed, clueless rookie, not the rotund, lifeless visage he now wore.
"Hey", Gecko Moria called to Crocodile, who had just solidified his form beside him. "Was this guy always this ruthless back then?"
He meant two years ago, during the Marineford-scale battle.
"How should I know?!" Crocodile snarled through clenched teeth, his gaze fixed on the heavens. "I've never seen anything like this!"
He had assumed Kuro's Killing Intent Encasement was his trump card. Who could've predicted this monstrous upgrade lurking beneath?
Earlier, when Marshall D. Teach had brushed past Kuro, Crocodile thought the phenomenon above was just an illusion—after all, it moved too fast. But now, the truth was undeniable. That wasn't a mirage. It was Kuro's hidden ace.
Could the Float-Float Fruit truly achieve such devastation?!
On the battlefield, Buggy and his crew clutched their faces in unison, reenacting Edvard Munch's The Scream.
"What the hell is this?!" Buggy screamed.
Boom! Boom!
The continent sank and rapidly fused into a colossal hand. As Kuro slammed his palm downward, the titanic landmass followed, hurtling at such speed that friction with the air ignited a crimson inferno—the entire formation plummeting from Kuro's position.
The weather itself imploded!
Crashhh!!!
Seawater erupted as the hand crashed into the ocean, creating a monstrous palm-shaped landmass stretching beyond the horizon.
Kuro's silhouette surged forward, skimming low across the palm's terrain at breakneck speed. Simultaneously, the sky rained down an arsenal of weapons—blades, swords, black guns, cannonballs, and stone fragments—all accelerating with his flight, detonating across the continent. Each impact cratered the land.
In Kuro's crimson eyes burned ember-like glints of deeper red.
Observation Haki—Full Power!
Even if Marshall D. Teach could run, Laffitte's flight speed couldn't escape this doom. This collapsing continent would surely crush him!
"Found you!" Kuro hissed through gritted teeth, his body bursting into a shockwave as he rocketed toward a chosen direction.
Soon, he spotted one of his targets.
Poison Q lay gasping on the ground, the earth around him shattered into gaping fissures. Nothing else remained.
Bam!
Kuro descended like lightning, gripping Poison Q's throat and driving him into the earth. The impact carved a deep depression, sending rubble flying.
Kuro's crimson eyes locked onto Poison Q's face. "Where's Marshall D. Teach!"
"Heh... Heh-heh..." Poison Q choked out, his face purpling.
Kuro loosened his grip slightly, letting Poison Q inhale a few ragged breaths before repeating, "Where IS Marshall D. Teach!"
"Hehehehe..." Poison Q grinned eerily. "It's fate..."
Crunch!
Kuro tightened his grip, crushing Poison Q deeper into the ground. As he retracted his hand, his five fingers clenched—a surge of twisted energy bound Poison Q's body with stone, merging flesh and earth. Blood gushed from the grotesque fusion.
"You think silence will stop me?" Kuro roared, crimson eyes blazing at Poison Q's exposed head. "Honeycomb Island! He'll return there eventually! I'll flay his skin off!"
He launched himself skyward, ready to pursue.
Whirrr!
Suddenly, an emerald-green slash streaked toward him.
Kuro instinctively slashed, shattering the incoming attack.
From the distance, a shadowy figure closed in with blinding speed, leaping high to slash downward.
Clang!
Kuro parried, his blade meeting a massive black sword—the Yokai Blade.
Dracule Mihawk!
The duel of blades paused briefly before Mihawk flipped backward, landing steadily. He gazed at Kuro's stunned expression and said, "Had enough? If not, I'll keep playing."
Kuro narrowed his eyes. The crimson in his pupils faded, returning to jet-black.
"Tch." He scoffed. "Got carried away again."
Witnessing this, Mihawk sheathed his black blade and remarked, "Even you can falter under Killing Intent's influence?"
"Still mastering the technique", Kuro said with an awkward chuckle, his expression stiffening as blood trickled from his lips. "Damn, this hurts."
Yes, the Killing Intent had affected him.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have recklessly charged toward Honeycomb Island. Even if Teach were there, what could Kuro accomplish alone? Charging headlong against Teach, Shiryu, and the others would likely mean mutual annihilation.
Plus, he didn't even know where Honeycomb Island was.
This ultimate art—Killing Intent Domain—was newly developed. By merging his ability with the domain, he'd achieved this monstrous technique. Within his domain, every slash became omnipresent, capable of reducing opponents to oblivion.
But he hadn't fully tested it yet. His body was still recovering from Marshall D. Teach's shockwave. Though externally, he only bled slightly, his internal injuries were severe. Activating the Killing Intent Domain had backfired, allowing the Killing Intent to invade.
"But don't need your help", Kuro muttered. "I'll cool off once I fly a bit."
Once his body adapted to the Killing Intent, he'd regain composure naturally. No need for Mihawk's interference.
"Enough carnage." Mihawk surveyed the shattered battlefield. "A rising Yonko crew reduced to scraps."
Kuro descended, glancing at the ruined land. Blood still stained the ground.
Teach's losses were catastrophic—ten warships and countless pirates destroyed. Only Shiryu, Daidon, Fan Oka, and Laffitte remained—half their forces gone.
Even if Teach absorbed the damage, the pain would haunt him for days!
But...
"My G-3 fortress is gone!" Kuro snarled.
"Bororo..."
Suddenly, a Transponder Snail on his wrist chimed.
Kuro's brow furrowed as he connected. "What?!"
"Kuro~" The snail's visage morphed into a grotesque caricature. "Gramps?"
"The old man seems injured."
At those words, Kuro's eyes reignited with crimson.
