Advanced Ritual Art is a spell card that allows the player to Ritual Summon any Ritual Monster from their hand by sending a Normal Monster from their Deck to the Graveyard as a substitute for the required Tribute.
Since this is a general-purpose Ritual Spell, it's impossible to determine the opponent's exact Deck type solely from this Ritual card, and one can only roughly speculate that it might be a Ritual Deck.
"Battle," Eddie said coldly, his hand slowly rising as if he were an emotionless dueling machine.
"Attack the face-down monster with 'Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands'."
Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands flew out like a stone statue, unleashing a barrage of fists. The dense fist shadows formed a massive fire net, bombarding the face-down monster.
The face-down card flipped, revealing a green-haired turtle lying on the ground with a silver UFO-like shell on its back.
You Xuan: "Your target is 'UFO Turtle'."

The continuous fist shadows bombarded the turtle, shattering the UFO on its back into pieces. The UFO exploded, turning into a fireball with metal debris scattering amidst the flames.
"When UFO Turtle is destroyed in battle and sent to the Graveyard, its Doom effect activates," explained You Xuan. "I can Special Summon an Attribute Fire monster with an ATK of 1500 or less from my Deck in face-up Attack Position."
You Xuan's Deck automatically searched, and a card popped out from the Deck, which he drew and placed on his Duel Disk.
"Special Summon 'Hinotama.' "
A flame ignited on You Xuan's field, turning into a fireball. Surprisingly, a plant blossomed from within the fireball, transforming into a fiery flower.

Eye: "Oh, a Plant-Type Master today!"
Eddie glanced at the burning flower indifferently and spoke in a detached tone.
"Plants are a weak race," he said. "In the vast world of dueling, they are the feeble ones struggling to survive amidst countless gods and demons."
You Xuan raised his eyebrows.
"That's a fresh perspective."
But he smiled and added, "However, it's best to prove your strength by winning first, even if you call yourself a weakling."
Eddie ignored him and continued to draw a card from his hand mechanically.
"Set a card, and my turn is over."
"It's my turn now. Draw!"
You Xuan drew a card.
"Hinotama's effect, once per turn, allows me to Tribute one Plant-Type monster in face-up Attack Position on my field to Special Summon any Plant-Type monster from my Deck."
This was another powerful card with an effect that was evident from its description alone.
By Tributing any Plant-Type monster on the field without restrictions, you could Special Summon any Plant-Type monster from the Deck without limitations. Moreover, since Hinotama itself is a Plant-Type monster, simply Normal Summoning it is equivalent to summoning any level of Plant-Type monster from the Deck, a power move that needs no further explanation.
From a modern Yu-Gi-Oh! perspective, what's even more terrifying is that the effect of this card is limited to 'once per turn' instead of 'this card's effect can only be used once per turn.'
In other words, as long as Hinotama leaves the field and is Summoned again, or even if it's flipped face-down and then flipped face-up, the effect's usage count can be refreshed, and there's no strict limit on the number of times it can be used in a single turn.
Such a powerful card only managed to get a semi-limited status instead of a ban, which probably further proves that Plant-Type monsters are indeed not that strong.

You Xuan took the card that automatically popped out from his Deck.
"Special Summon 'Giant Plant'."
True to its name, this card was indeed a plant of gigantic proportions.
The massive plant-like body emerged from the ground, its roots deeply embedded, with a gaping maw filled with sharp white teeth.

"Gigantic Plant is a Double Summon monster, treated as a Regular Monster on the field and in the Graveyard," You Xuan explained, "But while on the field, it can be Normal Summoned again, gaining an additional monster effect."
You Xuan performed a Double Summon on Gigantic Plant, granting it a new monster effect.
The Gigantic Plant's monster card appeared behind its projection, accompanied by a summoning effect and a flash of golden light.
"After the Double Summon, Gigantic Plant gains this effect," You Xuan continued, "Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can Special Summon any Insect or Plant-type monster from your hand or Graveyard."
A golden light emanated from You Xuan's Graveyard, and the monster card returned to his hand.
"I'm Special Summoning 'Flaming Bloom' back to the field, which was just Tributed to the Graveyard."
A fireball erupted on the field, and a flower bloomed amidst the flames.

"Flaming Bloom's effect," You Xuan began, "Once per turn, you can Tribute a Plant-type monster on the field to Special Summon a Plant-type monster from your Deck."
Themerc's eyes widened in realization: "Since Flaming Bloom was sent to the Graveyard and then re-summoned, its effect, which could only be activated once per turn, has been reset.
No wonder you're the King! You're so smooth with your first-ever Deck!"
You Xuan shot it a sidelong glance and chuckled, "You know, you sound like a sycophant flattering a warlord right now."
Themerc: "..."
Ignoring Themerc's reaction, You Xuan continued, "I'm Tributing the Flaming Bloom that returned to the field. From my Deck, I Special Summon any Plant-type monster."
He paused, drawing the card that popped out from his Deck, and smiled.
"This rare plant brother took quite some effort to acquire. It's the perfect opportunity to test it out today—
—Camellia Knight - Titania!!!"
Petals filled the air as a massive green leaf unfurled in the center of the field. Flaming Bloom once again turned itself into ashes, paving a grand path for its comrade to the battlefield.
Within the blooming leaf, a crimson flower opened, revealing a queen-like humanoid figure. Her face was pale, solemn, and dignified, adorned with entwining green leaves and vines, as if she were the very embodiment of the flower's dominion.

"Two Higher-level monsters summoned in an instant," Eddie remarked, "Who would've thought that mere plants could achieve such a feat."
"That's why I said, never underestimate the potential of any race," You Xuan replied.
"Camellia Knight - Titania, attack 'Wan Shou Shen'!"
The plant queen slowly opened her eyes and extended her slender arms. With a gentle spin of her palms, the petals in the air seemed to dance in unison with her gestures, forming a crimson vortex that surged towards Eddie's field like a torrent of floral destruction.

Camellia Knight's attack shattered Wan Shou Shen, dealing 1400 damage, and the looming Gigantic Plant with its 2400 ATK loomed large.
If these consecutive attacks succeeded, his Life Points would be reduced to a mere flicker!
