Chapter 92: Thoughts on the Release and the Alliance Lord's Bonus Chapter Plan
Chapter 92: Thoughts on the Release and the Alliance Lord's Bonus Chapter Plan
It's about to go live at midnight.
My heart is as calm as still water.
The previous book was essentially a disaster.
I won't go into the reasons, whether it was due to health issues or my hands.
A failed ending is a failed ending.
As a result, I lost a significant amount of popularity.
The loss of popularity naturally affects this book.
Being an author with over 30 million words under my belt has its advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that many book friends recognize my work.
They come to read as soon as I start a new book.
The disadvantage is that many book friends don't appreciate my work, and they swipe away as soon as they see my name, regardless of the content.
So, it's a mixed bag.
This book was conceived during my illness when I couldn't move my hands and could only play on my phone with my right hand.
While browsing Douyin, I came across a comment from an old book friend.
It said: "Old buddy, write a decent book, don't just churn out words. How many more years can you write? You should consider your reputation."
I couldn't sleep that night.
Different environments and different states of mind, especially after my hand issues, made me believe that my career was over.
What can a writer who types with their hands do if they can't use them? So, during that time, I was deeply moved by those words.
And thus, I conceived this book, 'The Long Night Monarch'.
You could say this book is a satisfying read, but it's also filled with countless intrigues, mind games, and power struggles.
Or, to put it another way: if you don't calm down and delve into it, if you don't understand the various factions and the identities and statuses of each character, you might not even understand it.
This includes the protagonist's every calculation, the impact of each word in the enemy camp, the intention behind their words, the desired effect, whether it was achieved or not, and so on.
These elements, to be honest, might resonate with veteran bookworms, who will find it captivating.
But younger readers might not necessarily enjoy it.
Some things can only be understood through experience.
In today's fast-paced society, where everyone is accustomed to reading at a rapid pace, writing such a detailed book is challenging.
I know what the outcome will be.
But I need to give it my all.
While I can still write, I want to create a book with my whole heart.
I'll try to discard my old habits and minimize filler content.
Of course, the protagonist's halo is inevitable, and flaws will exist.
This will be gradually improved during the serialization.
Writing such a detailed book takes time.
Even if I write faster, I won't publish too quickly.
Some chapters, after publishing, will be closely monitored by me for comments. Many meticulous readers will point out inconsistencies or my oversights, and I'll immediately make corrections in the next chapter or find opportunities to patch things up.
If I publish too quickly, I won't have time to fix things.
So, it's good for me if readers promptly point out issues and speak up.
I'll write slowly and carefully, hoping readers will read with the same care.
Let's continue this journey together.
At midnight, there will be four new chapters. Then, at 5:30 PM, another two chapters. A total of six chapters for now.
There's something I want to say upfront: as I mentioned before, I'll always have at least two chapters in reserve. If one day I have less than two chapters in reserve, I'll take a break and inform everyone in advance.
Future updates will be maintained at 11 AM and 5:30 PM. Bonus chapters will be in the afternoon.
Regarding the Alliance Lord's bonus chapters, we'll start with the regular Alliance Lord first. Based on the order, like the nth Alliance Lord of this book, etc... Alliance Lords can see their rank on the page and know their position.
The Silver Alliance Lord's bonus chapters will come later. I won't renege on my promise. If the book is completed and I still owe chapters... cough.
Please, subscribe.
Brothers, if you have money, support with a financial contribution, and if you don't, show your support by reading.
To those who are leaving, I wish you happy reading.
After the release, fan value will be required for comments, so even if you want to come and scold me, you'll have to pay.
See you at midnight.
