"No," Mizawa said with a grave expression, his voice deep and steady. "The Ancient Gears have another ace, a rumored evolution of the Ancient Gear Golem, the true ultimate ace."
Even among the rare users of the Ancient Gear deck in the Dueling world, those who can harness the power of this ultimate technique are few and far between.
"That powerful?" Marudome Shou was both surprised and doubtful, turning to Kouronosu with widened eyes. "Does the Coach really have such an incredible card?"
"It's just my speculation," Mizawa replied. "But at least, from the time we entered the school until now, no one has ever seen the Professor use it. The existence beyond the Ancient Gear Golem might just be a legend."
Indeed, in the anime, Kouronosu's ace card for most of the series was the Ancient Gear Golem. It was only in the later stages that he revealed the ultimate ace card that surpassed the Ancient Gears, using it in his final semester's duel against Yuuugen. When he summoned it, he even remarked, "I didn't expect to use this card against a student."
Many fans later used this as evidence that Kouronosu went easy on Yuuugen during their initial duel when Yuuugen first enrolled.

Kouronosu raised his arm and shouted.
"Resurrect the two 'Ancient Gear Golems' from the graveyard!"
On the ground, a steel ruin appeared, and ancient gears assembled within it, forming two towering giant figures. They rose slowly, towering over the field, their imposing presence undiminished, even as the red glow from their single eyes dimmed.

Kouronosu continued, "I activate the Spell Card, 'Polymerization' from my hand! I fuse the two Ancient Gear Golems on the field with the last 'Ancient Gear Golem' in my hand, the one returned by Aganamamax last turn!"
He revealed the monster card in his hand, and the third Ancient Gear Golem was projected onto the field, joining the other two in the fusion vortex.
The fusion of the gears, like awakening a slumbering ancient beast. From within the vortex, a creature emerged, its upper body resembling the humanoid structure of the Ancient Gear Golem, with intricate and complex mechanical parts emitting a cold metallic gleam. Its lower half, however, took on the form of a centaur, with steel hooves firmly planted on the ground and thick armor covering its arms.

"The Professor has always been strong."
Kouronosu gave Yuuugen a meaningful glance and closed his eyes lightly.
"Thanks, slacker."
He muttered to himself, then lifted his head again.
"Let's duel, Yuuugen!"
Kouronosu scanned Yuuugen's field, his thoughts racing.
The biggest threat on the field right now is undoubtedly the Victory Winner Bug, but with Napoleon's Gulliver's Chain binding it, it shouldn't be a concern for the time being.
So, the next priority is to take care of the Aganamamax, which can bounce back monsters when it flips. Although Aganamamax is currently in an upright position, if the opponent is playing a graveyard-based strategy, there might be more cards like the W Nebula Meteorite that can repeatedly flip monsters.
"Antique Mechanical Ultimate Golem, attack 'Aganamamax'!"
The mechanical golem crackled with electricity as it leaped forward, its powerful punch tearing through the air and shattering Aganamamax into pieces.
"When the Antique Mechanical Ultimate Golem attacks, the opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap cards!" Kouronosu shouted.
After destroying Aganamamax, the golem's momentum didn't waver, and its phantom fist continued its assault towards Yuuugen. However, as it approached him, it was once again blocked by the transparent barrier.
"Continuous Trap 'Soul Barrier'. As long as there's a monster on the field, I won't take any battle damage," Yuuugen smiled, "Not even from piercing damage. You haven't forgotten that, have you, teacher?"
"Tch, then my turn is over."
He turned to Napoleon Coach.
"I'm counting on you!"

I activate the Spell Card, 'Trap Demolition'!"
The image of the spell card appeared behind him.
"This card can destroy one Trap Card on the field. I destroy 'Soul Barrier'!"
The trap card was destroyed, and the golden transparent barrier protecting Yuuugen's field shattered.
"Excellent!" Kouronosu said, "With the strongest defense gone, we can deal damage to him now!"
Napoleon Coach: "Then, I activate the Spell Card, 'Burial from a Different Dimension'! I remove the Spell Cards 'Forced March', 'Flute and Drum Corps', and 'Trap Demolition' from the game and draw two cards!" (Original Card)

Napoleon's last Toy Soldier was surrounded by a glowing pattern, and a golden light erupted from the pattern, soaring into the sky.
The tiny soldier underwent a transformation in the light, mounting a toy steed, holding the reins, and drawing the emperor's sword, his gaze fixed determinedly forward.
