"For now, the Three Corpse Worms have been successfully separated from the spirit beasts and eradicated."
"However, to ensure absolute safety, we will need to observe them for a while longer."
"Elder, you give us too much credit. The resolution of the spirit beast anomaly is entirely thanks to Land friend's efforts. I am aware of my own limitations and would not presume to take credit," Qin Shan said, his head lowered respectfully. Elder Bai Ju, standing beside him, gave a slight nod, concurring without adding further words.
"You are too humble, friends," Qingmu Xingzhu spoke softly.
"Your journey here from afar is already a great help to us."
As he finished speaking, two storage bags slowly floated towards the two guests.
"These contain some small tokens of our appreciation for your help. Please accept them."
Qin Shan and Elder Bai Ju politely declined a few times before accepting the storage bags together.
As for Lu Chen, who did not receive a storage bag, the two elders understood that Tianxing Cave intended to express their gratitude to him separately, and so they took their leave.

The number of high-ranking spiritual beasts infected by the Three Corpse Worms was considerable, mostly of the fifth grade and above, including several seventh-grade beasts.
